great hospitality at Velencei to in Hungary
We had a great stay at this house. Zsuzsa is a wonderful hostess, she keeps on top of any requests, needs, problems you may have. The wonderfully equipped kitchen was also well-stocked with coffee, tea, various types of sugar and a huge collection of hot chocolate . We enjoyed having our meals on the patio adjacent to the kitchen. The patio was also a popular place to hang out and relax, with its comfortable furniture.
The house is on 3 levels, carved into a mountain-side with 3 bedrooms and a full bath on the top floor, one large bedroom and a full bath and the kitchen on the middle floor and a large living room on the ground floor. There is a great view from the top patio. The wifi works well except on the ground floor. There is no air-conditioning, but we did not need it, the window gave enough cool breeze at night and during the day we closed the windows and the curtains. There are fans in every room. Be careful with the draft, we managed to break a glass door due to the draft banging it, Zsuzsa had it fixed within a day and never held a grudge about it. She also let us use the washing machine when we needed some laundry done. The lake is a short drive away, but would be too far on foot, the beach close to the house was wonderful, very few people on a week-day, but can get crowded during the week-ends.
Overall a very spacious, pleasant house, wonderful hospitality, a great value! Thank you Zsuzsa!
