This is a well appointed two story property with 3 loft beds in an open area, one king and two twin beds with a full bath upstairs. Downstairs there is another bedroom with a queen bed and full bathroom. Fully furnished with kitchen appliances. Attractive island themed decorations inside. Outside deck with grill and fire pit. Very short walk to Miller’s Ferry which is your gateway to Put n Bay. Obviously a very short walk to the shores of Lake Erie to enjoy the water sunsets and sunrises among other activities.
If you are planning on taking the ferry to Put-N-Bay please check Miller’s ferry schedule ahead of time as it will vary this time of year.

We enjoyed our stay! The location offers ease in walking to a local dive bar and an ice cream shop as well as the Ferry. The host had left snacks and coffee which was a nice touch. We felt the place could use a deep clean. The home is cooled by 3 window AC units. It cools nicely but the unit in the primary bedroom is very loud.

Sweet Memories from Childhood

Visited Port Clinton for the first time in almost 50 years. My family would spend our summer vacation at Lake Erie & so many wonderful memories. My friends & I enjoyed the house; it's charming and right next to Miller's Ferry (so no additional parking). The back deck is nice to enjoy cofffee, or relax at night,however we visited when the Mayflys had hatched, so that was a bummer.

Son’s wedding stay

A great location, very quiet even though it’s next to the ferry parking lot. Easy access to all of Catawba Island, Port Clinton, and Cedar Point.

Fun @ the Lake

Convenient location, comfortable quarters and quite (for the location). Not really a problem for us, but there are three items the owner may want to address. One the storm door slams shut and sticks. Two a loose paver stone at the entre steps. Three first floor toilet flapper leaks (water cost). Overall, a nice stay, my second.

Great Place and Perfect Location

We love this house! We've stayed here twice now, and each time has been so much fun. The location is absolutely perfect, and you can't ask for a better house. We'll definitely be back!

Nice

The cabin was clean and well stocked. What was needed was contact info in case there were any questions. Location was next to the ferry to Put-in-Bay which was great. Plenty of parking spaces for your boat and cars.

Catawba Island getaway

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with his 2 brothers and a wife. They enjoyed 2days of golf while we explored Marblehead. We all took the ferry to Put in bay and dined on some exceptional seafood. We visited beaches at Port Clinton and Marblehead and ate in Port Clinton while there. When not running around we lounge out in the yard and enjoyed the weather. We all agreed it was a fantastic get together in a really nice place.

Restful Retreat

Owner was available but not over bearing. Home was clean and well equipped with any thing that was needed. Location is perfect for exploring Catawba or jumping on a ferry to the islands. Second time staying there⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great Little Place

We staid here while we fished lake Erie. Great for storing a boat and trailer. This place was fully stocked, if you forgot something it seamed like they had it for you. Our only bad review was they need to take better care of the insect issue. Ant's were the biggest problem and a few spiders.

Awesome & Convenient!

Great place to hangout with your buds and walk safely to Miller Ferry— the house was equipped with anything you need (and much more). Love the decor & plants! The outdoor fireplace was a great hangout spot as well. Thank you.

Miller Ferry house

Great little house with plenty of room. They also have those extra things that a lot of other places don’t bother with. It was clean and comfortable with two nice full baths. We stayed there two years in a row and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Great cozy open concept cottage

The kids loved the loft with the two single beds. The kitchen is well equipped and the locations is just awesome directly next to and across from the Miller Ferry parking lots (traffic not distracting at all) aka walking distance to terminal.

The house was cozy but spacious and so clean. If anything was forgotten at home it was already there. We are looking at returning next summer!

Short Stay

Pros: Convenient location to Miller's Ferry. Nicely decorated and had almost everything needed in kitchen. Good communication with owner. Cons: Although most areas were clean, there were a lot of cobwebs and dust in areas just out of plain sight. The air conditioners were absolutely filthy. We rinsed the filters ourselves because they were so thick with dust - not to mention what the rest of the inside looked like. We had to kill more bugs than I care to mention on the inside of the house (ants, spiders, and I don't know what else). We were initially left with no extra toilet paper than what was on the roll in the bathrooms or paper towels. (Owner sent some over when we asked.) The King bed upstairs was hard as a rock. We wound up leaving early (late on our second night there) due to a power outage with not knowing when it would come back on. Had we not had the experience we had up to that point, we may have waited it out but decided to leave.

Sister/cousin get away

My sister and I wanted to experience Put in Bay and the other islands. This cottage offers great convenience by being right next to the ferry. There is also a bar/restaurant and ice cream shop very close as well. Noise was not an issue. The host responded quickly to all of my questions. Plenty of towels and blankets. I loved all the extras including shampoo/conditioner, aloe, sugar, spices, condiments, etc. great place to stay!

perfect location/property

we enjoyed our stay. this was our second stay at the property and hope to return. very clean and nicely decorated, comfortable beds. walking distance to many places.
