Cottage Custom built by owner plus 4 person golf cart included

This charming 3 bedroom cottage retreat sleeps 10. Located in Lakeside, a gated community that charges an entry fee during season. We built this cottage as our own home in 2002 with all the modern amenities yet keeping true to that old Lakeside charm. Spacious family room and open kitchen are great for family entertaining. Formal dinning room for large family gatherings. Huge screened porch perfect for lounging or enjoying an outdoor meal. Master has queen bed with private bath and walk in closet. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms both have single/double bunk sets. There is a pull day bend with trundle in the living room. The cottage has central air + washer/dryer for your convenience. Sleeps 10. Two cars off street parking. plus you can also park 3 or 4 cars on the road in front of the cottage.

Be sure to check with www.Lakesideohio.com for pricing on gate fees and schedule of events. Note there are gate fees during the summer season, Typically Memorial weekend through Labor day weekend but be certain to check lakeside.com to be certain of pricing for the dates you have reserved.

Also due to the nature of Lakeside rentals guest are required to bring their own; sheets, towels and pillow cases.

We are located around the corner from the tennis complex on 6th and the new pool complex located right next to the tennis center. Plus the widely popular pickle ball which is also located at the tennis complex.

Each rental comes with the use of a 4 person golf cart. No extra charge, it is included in the rental fee, compare this to having to rent a golf cart in town which would have cost you an additional $350 a week..

Lakeside is a hidden gem in northeast Ohio. It is a gated Chautauqua community encompassing mind, body and spirit with a large range of daily programming and nightly entertainment in the 3,000 seat Hoover Auditorium.

We don't have cable but we do have a smart TV and you can watch with your own accounts

The property was great. Beds were comfortable. Check-in was easy. Ample parking. Appreciated how accommodating Larry was for our two older dogs. Couch was a little worn so I would recommend maybe easy cushion covers that can be easily cleaned, but I understand because it is a pet friendly rental. Kitchen was great and well supplied. It’s a cute and quaint home in Beautiful Lakeside with easy accessibility to everything the community has to offer but also on a quiet street. My only complaint is that it listed there were no linens. However, I did not realize that also excluded towels. We were not prepared for that and had to scramble to get towels. Other than that, the stay was great and we appreciate Larry. I would highly recommend it.

This house is very family friendly and pet friendly. Short walk to the lakefront and pickleball/tennis courts/playground! Roomy screened in porch was great. We had a great weekend!

We enjoyed our stay! The home was very nice, comfortable and clean. We loved playing games on the screened-in-porch and having meals there too. The golf cart was nice to have to get around the beautiful community. Thank you!

We enjoyed a great week in this lovely home. This home was clean and well equipped with plenty of room. We enjoyed the screened in porch. There was a nice fire pit that would be fun when nights are cooler. We loved the location close to the pool. The golf cart was wonderful for driving to the pool or for shuffleboard. We loved that our dog could be with us for this week. We’d love to return and stay here again. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Very nice house in a great location!

We really liked this house and would definitely stay there again. One confusing issue is that the available beds were not described accurately, resulting in our bringing bed sheets that didn't fit. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms actually each have a double bed and a single, which is not what the listing shows.

Perfect getaway!

My family and I wanted a fall weekend at Lakeside and this cottage was absolutely perfect! The perfect place to relax and we were very happy with our stay. We would love to come back and stay here again. Loved spending time on the front porch and screened porch and everyone had their place to hang out. The cottage was very welcoming, clean, and had everything we needed. Thank you!!

Long Weekend

Back to Simpler Times at Lakehouse

Comfortable dog friendly air conditioned family cottage with breezy porches with rockers and room. We enjoyed golf cart access, proximity to pool for morning lap swims, lakefront cookouts, charming downtown, and top notch weekend entertainment.So quiet, peaceful and relaxing!

Perfect Anniversary Getaway

My husband and I stayed here for an anniversary getaway and it was great! I grew up going to Lakeside every summer but hadn’t been there in many years and it was my husband’s first time. It was off season so very quiet which was perfect for us. The house is a short walk to the lake and town square. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. I love how much natural light comes in the many windows. The living room was very comfy for us, our two dogs and my parents who came by for lunch one day. We enjoyed eating in the screened in porch very much. The golf cart was a very nice added bonus too. We would definitely like to return to this property. Larry was also extremely responsive and helpful.

My favorite!

We have been taking the kids to Cedarpoint since they were little and never found a spot we loved enough to stay again. However, this is the place! Love the Lakeside community and all the surroundings. The house was well equipped and large enough for all of us to have our space.

Great place to stay in Lakeside

We loved staying at this cottage in Lakeside. It was the perfect place to stay to enjoy a weekend at the lake. The kitchen is fully stocked, there is plenty of space, and we really enjoyed sitting in the sunroom. Larry was very responsive, and we were even able to check in a few hours early. We can’t to come back!

We are long term Lakeside residents who have built 10 cottages as investments. This one is unique and was built as our own home and we are now renting it on a limited basis. Our children have spent their entire childhoods growing up every summer in Lakeside. My wife and I had a restaurant for a few years in Lakeside, Summer Stock, and then moved on to a larger full service restaurant in Columbus. Due to family growing older and our schedule we are not in Lakeside all summer any more. We envite you to enjoy our summer home and create your own memories.

This home offers an affordable alternative to what is typically available in Lakeside without compromising your comfort and enjoyment. The home was built in 2002 and combines modern features like central air, on site washer and dryer to make your stay comfortable. We also custom built this cottage as our own home so you don't compromise that cottage feel. We have wood flooring, bead board walls, large front porch, huge screened in porch for outdoor dinning. With our home you will avoid an old and musty cottage maintained as a rental over the years or it won't have central a/c and can be hot to say the least.

Our golf cart is included with the rental, there is a charcoal grill out back plus a fire pit.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

A summer vacation where you don't have to lock your doors. Something to do for everyone. We are around the corner from the tennis complex with free group lessons, close to the Rhein arts center which is popular for it's offering of art classes, you can check the little ones in at God Squad or at the play ground or enjoy the pier and lake front as a family. Close to all the Islands and Cedar Point.
