Thank you for your review and the follow up call. We're so pleased you found us to be great hosts and enjoyed the beautiful yard! We appreciate you letting us know your concern was about the pool temperature. The temperature is set to 86°F and runs on a heating cycle of approximately 6–8 hours before it recycles. Because of this, it may take some time to reach or maintain the desired temperature. Please also keep in mind that the outside temperature plays a big role, as cooler weather can impact how quickly the pool heats. Happy to hear you enjoyed the home and your stay and look forward to hosting your next visit. -The iTrip La Quinta Team

Thank you for your feedback. We’re pleased to hear you enjoyed the home, backyard, cleanliness, and convenient location for the Indian Wells Tennis Tournament. Regarding pool heat, this is an optional add-on. As communicated prior to booking, charges are based on actual usage as measured by the gas meter and what the gas company charges us. We do not mark up or profit from pool heat in any way. Because the cost depends on factors such as outdoor temperature, wind, usage, and the pool's size, heating a large pool can be more expensive than some guests expect. Regarding the alarm, the only issue on arrival was that it had been accidentally reset after cleaning; we resolved it promptly once notified. As for the gate, vehicle-only access was disclosed prior to booking and is also noted in the welcome book. The property layout is also reflected in the listing information and photos. We’re glad you otherwise found the property clean, well located, and as pictured. iTrip La Quinta
