Guest suite in the woods with private entry

One bedroom in-law suite w/ private coded entrance. Living area complete with mini fridge, microwave & keurig coffee maker. We supply k cups. Queen size bed in bedroom w/ extra pillows & blankets. Sofa full size pull out bed complete w/ linens. 15 miles DE Turf, 10 miles to First State BMX, 17 miles to Lewes, 25 miles to Rehoboth, 30 miles to Dover Downs, 15 miles to Dogfish Head brewery. Private setting with plenty of parking available. Our home is attached & are happy to answer any questions. No tv as listed in amenities. Wifi provided for streaming.

We are within 25 miles or closer to the beaches, resorts, and Delaware turf. Many small towns close with local coffee shops and fun places to visit and shop. We do have free range chickens and kids so you may receive a welcome from them when pulling in. Our home can be hard to find with the trees. We have a “hope” sign at the entrance to our driveway so be sure to look for that upon arrival. No smoking on the property.

We loved our stay with Steph and Dustin. The suite was perfect - clean, comfortable (great shower!). It was perfect for our week stay. We didn't meet Dustin but Steph was so easy to communicate with - very responsive and even recommended things to do in the area. We'd absolutely stay here again when visiting our son and his wife.

Stef and Dustin’s place is great. Very private, clean, easy access. They are excellent communicators the unit even has a small ice maker which was the first time I have seen that, nice touch! Mini ridge worked great too. 100% recommend a stay in this suite!

Lax Stay

3 day lacrosse tourney stay. Quiet and just the right space for my son and I. 10 Min from main strip and 16 min from DE turf. Very nice host and accommodating to any of our needs. Will use it again.

Woodsy retreat

This is a beautiful property located in the trees. The place was immaculately clean. The host was very responsive. We were only there for two nights this time, but would definitely stay again. It was peaceful, comfortable and a nice little retreat.

I would highly recommend a stay in their home. They were awesome when it came to communicating with us when then app was having issues. Very quiet location, we all got a great nights sleep. It was very convenient for us while we were in town for a tournament at the DE Turf Complex, about a twenty minute ride.

Very nice space to rest your head. Super clean and comfy…

Perfect size for my family. We were attending a baseball tournament and this was nicer than staying at a hotel and much more cost efficient. Only thing I would suggest would be for owners to put in a TV and provide sugar packs for coffee. Super nice owners and would definitely come back to stay.

We had a nice overnight stay. Coffee, towels, clean bedding and a few snacks were available. Very clean! Very quiet! Very private! We definitely recommend to others.

As described, a great value!

We arrived after dark, the entrance from the toad was lit and the house numbers large and easy to see. The entrance is off to the side, semi-private, with parking. The rental is clean and well lit with few amenities. but everything you could need is close by. Would recommend. 8/9

Perfect spot!

The space was so cute and cozy! Beautiful home with privacy. The owners were so hospitable and friendly. Our 2 boys had a great time playing in their yard. There was a lot for them to do. Will definitely return if we make it back to Deleware! Thank you!

Perfect place for a calm night before a chaotic weekend of lacrosse

This is a really lovely property located about 15 miles south of the Delaware turf. It was quiet, clean and very comfortable. There were two queen size beds to sleep in nice size, bathroom, coffee, service in the room, as well as a decent size refrigerator, and a microwave. it is a family home there are, some comfort noises like children foot but overall, I really liked staying here and having the opportunity to get away from the typical hotel environment.

Quiet and exceptionally clean!

The host was amazing from the moment we pulled into the driveway. Very friendly, informative, and was ready to assist us in whatever we needed. The house is in a beautiful setting, and very quiet. We were amazed that there was even anyone else there, especially kids! Thank you so much Steph and Dustin for opening up your property for us and being so gracious! We plan to be back the next time we head back to Delaware.

Very nice option

Rather than staying at a noisy hotel, we opted to go with the VRBO while at a lax tourney at the DE turf. The house is located in a quiet area. We ventured into surrounding towns for local restaurants and shopping. (It does take 12-15 min to get anywhere). The accommodations were comfortable and my daughter and I had our own sleeping areas.

Great for DE Turf Tournaments

Our family of 4 stayed for a tournament at DE Turf. This was the perfect solution when hotels were sold out for miles around. We were comfortable with our teenage boy on the pull out and our daughter in a comfy pallet w available blankets on the carpeted floor on the bedroom. 15 minutes to the fields as described. Great, accommodating owners! Very clean!

We stayed here during a baseball tournament at SAB about 20 mins away. We felt safe and the rental was as expected from the description in the listing. The listing did mention an ice maker that we did not see (didn’t bother us as we didn’t need it) The listing does clearly state there is no TV, but the addition of a TV would definitely make it a bit more comfortable when relaxing at the rental between things. We used our tablet to watch things but would have been nice to screen cast to a TV or sign in to our streaming accounts. The only reason I did not give this a 5 star for everything was because the property owners have a flock of chickens and apparently a rooster who started crowing early in the morning. It’s not a huge thing but we didn’t have to be up early the first morning and were caught off guard by the early mid wake up.

I’m sorry you were not pleased with your stay. This isn’t the beach, so I’m sorry the view wasn’t to your liking, we don’t advertise a scenic view in our listing. We have never had a TV, that is stated in the listing. If you were having problems with the internet I apologize and wish you would have reached out. As you are aware we had a bad thunderstorm during your stay and the power went out, I could have address the wifi issues had I known. I’m not sure what amenities you were hoping for. I do supply coffee, cream, and sugar along with bottles of water and snacks which you did not take/eat. All linens and towels are supplied along with extra pillows & blankets. Cleaning supplies and a few bathroom essentials can also be found in the bathroom cabinet. Fresh local flowers were also left for you to enjoy during your stay.

Weekend getaway

The property was off the beaten trail and quiet. The suite was quaint and fulfilled our needs for our time spent there. Good signage to locate the property and description from the host was spot on. I would highly recommend staying there.
