Your own gated hilltop in Glen Ellen. Swim in the private pool, soak in the hot tub under the stars, then pour a local Cabernet around the gas fire pit. Grill poolside in the outdoor kitchen, settle a bocce rivalry, and sleep in one of three king bedrooms. Benziger and Laurel Glen wineries are under 2 miles away, Jack London State Park trails 2.3. Sleeps 7, 2 baths, fully remodeled. One pet welcome. Hosted by LegacyRnR, Wine Country locals who can even arrange your tasting driver.



The Space:

A remodeled 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage on a private, gated hilltop just outside the village of Glen Ellen. Inside you'll find skylights, exposed wood beams and cottage style windows. Outside there's a pool, hot tub, gas fire pit, outdoor kitchen, bocce and a sport court, all looking out over the hills.



LIVING AREAS

The open living room has a sectional, two club chairs, a gas fireplace and a 55 inch TV. A whole home Sonos system lets you play music in every room from your phone.



KITCHEN AND DINING

Stainless steel appliances, a gas range, a side by side refrigerator and plenty of counter space. The dining table seats six, and the covered patio works as a second dining room outdoors.



BEDROOMS AND BATHS (sleeps 7)

Primary bedroom (upstairs): king bed, twin sleeper sofa and a 42 inch TV. Its bathroom has a large vanity and a tub and shower combination, and is also reached from the hallway.

Bedroom 2 (first floor): king bed, with a bathroom featuring a walk in shower, also reached from the hallway.

Bedroom 3 (upstairs): king bed.



OUTDOORS

Swim in the private pool, soak in the hot tub (heated at no charge) and end the night around the gas fire pit. Grill at the poolside outdoor kitchen, play bocce, or shoot hoops on the sport court, which converts to volleyball. The front porch is a nice spot for morning coffee. Pool heating is available for $125 to $200 per day depending on season; please request it before arrival.



PETS

One pet is welcome with a $400 pet fee. This is a natural hillside property with wildlife, including snakes, so please keep pets close and supervised outdoors.



GOOD TO KNOW

Free wifi, a washer and dryer, and parking for 3 cars inside the gate. The last stretch of road is gravel, so please drive 10 mph or under.



LEGACYRNR EXTRAS

This home is managed by LegacyRnR, a local Wine Country hospitality team. We can arrange our chauffeured 11 passenger van or 6 passenger Cadillac Escalade for wine tasting days, airport rides and dinners out, plus grocery and pantry stocking before you arrive.



CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancel at least 30 days before check in for a 100% refund. Cancel between 14 and 30 days before check in for a 50% refund. After that, no refund.

Minutes from Glen Ellen's restaurants and tasting rooms. Benziger Family Winery and Laurel Glen Vineyard are about 2 miles away, and Jack London State Historic Park is 2.3 miles from the house.

Guest Access:

The whole property is yours: the house, pool, hot tub, fire pit, outdoor kitchen, bocce and sport court, all behind a private gate. Check in is self check in with a lockbox. Gate code, lockbox code and driving directions are sent once your guest check in form is complete. The hot tub is available anytime; pool heating can be arranged by our team for a fee.



The Neighborhood:

Glen Ellen is a small Sonoma Valley village known for wineries, hiking and great food. Benziger Family Winery and Laurel Glen Vineyard are about 2 miles away. Jack London State Historic Park, 2.3 miles from the house, has miles of trails with valley views. Glen Ellen Star and the village tasting rooms are a short drive, and the historic Sonoma Plaza is about 15 minutes away.



Getting Around:

A car is the easiest way to get around. There is parking for 3 cars inside the gate. The final stretch of the drive is a private gravel road, so please go slow (10 mph or under). Sonoma County Airport (STS) is about 30 minutes away, and San Francisco (SFO) and Oakland (OAK) are roughly 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic. LegacyRnR can arrange chauffeured rides in our 11 passenger van or 6 passenger Escalade for wine tasting, airport transfers and dinners.



Other Things to Note:

Check in is at 4 PM and check out is at 10 AM.



Early check ins and late check outs are subject to availability, must be approved in writing in advance, and are charged at 50% of the nightly rate paid for your reservation.



Maximum 7 guests. Quiet hours are 9 PM to 7 AM, and amplified outdoor music is not permitted. No smoking anywhere on the property, and no parties or events.



One pet is welcome with a $400 pet fee.



Pool heating is available for $125 to $200 per day depending on season, which covers the propane. The hot tub is heated at no charge. Outdoor propane features, including the hot tub, run on a 2 hour timer.



Before you leave, please return any moved furniture to its original spot.



Guest Check In Form: After booking you will receive a link to our Guest App. Before arrival, the main guest completes a short check in form with their full name, email, phone, date of birth, a photo of a government ID (passport, ID card or driver's license), and an electronic signature on our rental agreement. Check in instructions and access details are sent only once the form is complete.
