Great location, amazing views, beautiful property. Easy to communicate with host. Only suggestion would be that it would be even better with air conditioning- they provide fans in each room which is helpful, but it was very warm in the property. Would stay here again!!

Unit is well-located in Gastown and features stunning views of the harbor and North Vancouver! Going into and out of the building is easy, and once we figured out which button to press on the key fob, we were able to open the garage gate and park easily. It was fun watching the cruise ships, ferries, and helicopters come and go.

The view from the unit is outstanding. The furnishings are more spartan than “luxury”.As another guest noted the closet doors are mostly of their tracks.The location is an issue, it’s on the edge of a very rough neighborhood. There were homeless and drugged people around the front door constantly, leading to a general feeling of being unsafe. The constant sound of police sirens during both day and night was a further indication of the safety level at f the neighborhood.

The apartment is very clean and has an awesome view of the port and mountains. However, the check in process was not smooth or easy. The code to enter the building didn't work - required a call to the host. The host said just ask the concierge desk to let us in - that did not work. The concierge desk would not let us in and required the host to call the concierge desk. The host didn't have the number to contact the desk. After 20 minutes of standing outside the doors - the concierge desk let us in to resolve the issue. We arrived late due to flight delays. The building concierge desk made it seem that VRBO wasn't allowed in that building.

The condo itself was very clean, nicely appointed, and had several thoughtful touches that we really appreciated, including coffee, filtered water, toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and Q-tips. The location is convenient for walking to many bars and restaurants.A couple of things to be aware of: the condo is located within a block of an area of downtown Vancouver that felt somewhat uncomfortable and unsafe to us, particularly at times. The condo also does not have air conditioning. Fans are provided, but during warmer weather the unit can still feel quite stuffy.The check-in and check-out process was also more complicated than expected. You initially have to find street parking, enter the building, go up to the condo to retrieve the keys, and then access the underground parking. At checkout, you have to remove your car from the garage, find street parking again, return to the building, and take the key back to the condo. Overall, it was not a particularly convenient process.Overall, we enjoyed the condo itself and appreciated the cleanliness and thoughtful amenities, but the location, lack of A/C, and complicated parking/key process are worth considering when booking.

We chose this property based on it's location, proximity to Canada Place for our cruise. There were great things about the property and not so great things. Our flight arrived at 10pm. By the time we got our bags, went through customs and got to the property, it was after midnight. We had been instructed to dial a number on the building intercom to get "buzzed" in when we arrive. We dialed the number a number of times, but no one answered which meant we couldn't get into the building. We eventually "tailgated" a resident into the building, but couldn't operate the elevator without a key. The doorman told us he wasn't supposed to help VRBO renters but eventually keyed the elevator so we could get up to the floor of our unit. Once there, the door was open and we had a key waiting for us. When arriving in the unit, we started to "check it out", as you do. My son opened a cupboard and the door fell off. My wife slid a closet hanging door and it fell off. I tried to slide different closet doors and realized they were just propped there, not even hanging. This was July and there was no A/C in the unit. They did provide fans. We opened a couple windows but that turned out to be an issue in the morning as the unit is close to the heliport and steam clock. We got used to the steam clock sounding every 15 minutes, but the helicopter noise could be a problem for some.Ultimately, the unit is in a great location with great views and comfortable.

The appartment was spacious and well furnished with a beautiful view of the harbour. You can hear the steam clock in gastown go off to mark the time. Blackout curtains were great for the bedrooms. Got a little hot in the evenings even with the cloudy/rainy weather so the fans were appreciated! Highly recommend. The check in process could be smoother - it was difficult finding the underground parking, which is where we were directed to for check in but you cannot access it without a fob so had to find a place to park and where thw actual entrance of the building was which took a bit of time. Also the pictures used to show where to park were not recent and had businesses that were no longer there so missed the turn to the parkade twice before we figured it out. Other than that, it was a great weekend stay for the T1D walk!
