Quiet Beach Cottage in North Cape May

Plan your perfect retreat to our newly updated summer cottage!

This charming, open concept 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bathroom plus outdoor shower, cottage with added outdoor living space is ideal for the lazy days of summer and home to incredible sunsets. The home is located in a peaceful neighborhood and located a little over a half a mile to the bay beach. North Cape May is a great kept secret with its beautiful bay beaches and close proximity to Cape May and The Wildwoods.

With flexible rental options throughout the summer, you can avoid the hustle and bustle of traffic and the weekend crowds with a Sunday - Friday option, enjoy all the shore has to offer with the 7-day experience or plan a three-night minimum weekend adventure. In the Fall and Spring, the home is available Friday - Sunday with a one-night minimum.

The outdoor space, entitled “The Low Tide Lounge” includes a covered patio, fire pit area, and outdoor shower.This perfect retreat has plenty of seating for entertaining or just lounging with a good book.

The area affords the vacationer to choose their own adventure. Options are endless…. Paddle boarding in the bay, soaking in the summer sun, throwing a line in the water, dolphin watching from the shore, grabbing dinner at Harpoon’s, stopping into Cape May Brewery, visiting Beach Plum Farm, strolling the streets of Cape May, climbing the stairs of the lighthouse or hitting up the boardwalk, oh, there so much more to explore!

Here are some highlights….

Linens, dish towels, bath towels and beach towels will be provided

House will be stocked with starter toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags

Kitchen is stocked with basic spices to use

4 beach chairs and some beach toys will be available to use during your stay

Smart TV sound bar with streaming capabilities in family room

Propane for grill

We have 4 outdoor cameras for security purposes - one pointed at the front door and the other in the backyard will be turned off during your stay. The camera on the side of the house and garage will remain on but notifications will be turned off.

Nicely modernized, well maintained and clean beach cottage that was in a quiet location. We loved the fenced in back yard. The owners provided everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The listing of fun things nearby to do was extremely helpful. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Great Weekend Getaway!

House was in a great location to both to Cape May and Wildwood. Relaxing weekend catching up with some old friends in quiet neighborhood. Well stocked and very clean with great backyard. Would stay again!

Lovely North Cape May House

We loved our stay at this house. It was very comfortable. Especially loved the Alexa system for lighting and sound controls. Would definitely recommend this property for family vacations.

Lovely getaway cottage

We loved our stay here! It’s a nice walk to the beach and convenient drive to almost every where we wanted to go or see as well as the restaurants. The house was clean and stocked with starter everything. We would absolutely come back!

Perfect!

Perfect spot for my friends birthday weekend. Clean and decorated so cute! The property manager was so kind and responded to all my questions promptly! Overall I would absolutely recommend!!

Cute cottage

Very nicely renovated cottage in convenient location. Close to the bay, shopping, Cape May, etc. We enjoyed the back patio and reading in the casita. Outdoor shower is great. Parts of the house are a little challenging for elderly visitors, but overall great place to stay and a nice alternative to hotels. Hosts were very responsive.

Couldn’t have been more perfect!

Definitely book this property! You’re getting exactly what is listed and more! The hosts were super easy to communicate with, and were expeditious with their responses. The house is absolutely adorable. Everything you need is there inside and out! The space was incredibly clean and quite comfortable! We will absolutely rent again . Highly recommend

Coziest cottage

This cottage was so cozy and CLEAN!! It offered great amenities. A great yard if you want to spend an evening at the house or take a short drive into the heart of Cape May…. Which we loved! A short drive to the ocean beach or a walk to the bay beach that we loved. And the sunsets…. The owner was responsive and helpful when we reached out with a question!! The beds and the sofa were so comfortable, too!! Hoping to go back again next summer.

Wonderful Cozy Cottage Near the Bay

We absolutely loved this home. It was immaculately clean, designed with love, and you could tell the care that went into the property. It is within walking distance to the bay and there is beach access right at the end of the road. The outdoor shower, fire pit, Weber grill, outdoor relaxation area and casita were fabulous for family time. Having the extra half bath for teen girls to get ready was also a huge plus for us. Having some of the basics stocked, clean sheets and towels upon arrival was amazing. We would absolutely love to stay here again!!!

Great place!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Shelly’s Shore Shack! There were 5 adults and an almost 2 year old and we had plenty of room. The outside space was just awesome. (Our “kids” loves the outside shower) One night we had a cozy little fire. Our grandson enjoyed the fenced in yard. We took walks in the quiet neighborhood. We were close enough to everything we wanted to do. And the bay beach was so close and just beautiful. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay. The hosts were very detailed with their instructions and quick response if we needed anything. If you are going to this area, we highly recommend staying here!
