Nice, family friendly camp with private boat launch.

This cozy camp has four bedrooms and two full baths. The camp sleeps 8-10, comfortably. The master bedroom has a king bed and full bath. The 2nd bedroom has one queen bed and one twin bed and the 3rd and 4th bedrooms have queen beds.

There is a covered area and open deck off of the kitchen/living room area and plenty covered space below with swing, bar height table, bar stools and lounge chairs. Sitting on two lots, there is plenty green space for outdoor games! Fishing off of the pier is a blast and usually provides hours of fun for adults and children!

The water access brings you to Bayou Lacroix, the Jourdan River and of course the Bay and Gulf of Mexico. There is a private boat launch on the property for your convenience!

Downtown Bay St. Louis offers wonderful dining and dancing experiences! Just ask me for suggestions! The Hollywood and Silver Slipper Casinos are quick drives from the property. There are local fishing excursions that my children have used and enjoyed, offering both inland and gulf water trips.

Family and friends get together

We had a great time. We had 7 staying and the house accommodated us all with room to spare. I would highly recommend staying here when in the area. The outside was wonderful and the fire pit came in handy. There is even a clear grassy area next to the house that we played corn hole with some friends that lived in the area. We all felt like we were at hime. Could not have asked for a better weekend. Will definitely stay here I the future.

Basshole is GREAT

Judy is a fantastic and a very accommodating host! Property was immaculate and very well appointed.Plenty of room and perfect for families. We launched our kayaks from the boat launch on the property and it was a quick paddle out of the canal to the bayou. Neighbors were very friendly and most welcoming. Lots of off street parking. Much to do in Bay St. Louis.

Cruisin the Coast 2023

We had a group of 5 adults looking to enjoy the last 5 days of Cruisin the Coast. The Bass Hole was clean and had plenty of room for all of us. The house is located in between 90 and 10 which made travel easy. Also, Judy was welcoming and only a call or text away. Highly recommend The Bass Hole for a family or friends getaway!

Pop Pop's 75 birthday weekend

Judy is the best host, property served us very well. Three generations. Used boat slip, bbq pit, super setup under the property. Too hot for fire pit but nice area for cooler weather. Grandkids fished, crabed off the canal. Brought boat and motorbike. Convenience to grocery stores or restaurants! Wish i could give more than 5 stars.

Perfect Stay

This was the perfect home for my group of friends. Plenty of beds, very clean and plenty of parking. The owner was helpful and kind. The check in and check out process was clear and easy. The only slight negative is that a few guests who mentioned their bed was a bit stiff and uncomfortable. Would definitely book again!

Iā€™m am new to this so maybe I am naive but I assumed there would be toilet paper. There was not. There was not so it required a trip to the store. After arriving that is normally the first order of ā€œbusinessā€. So not good but next time Iā€™ll know better. Other than that it was all good.

Perfect Stay!

Our stay at The Basshole could not have been more perfect! The property is nicely furnished and is fresh and clean. It is decorated with bright & cheerful decor. We enjoyed the ease of having a boat launch at the property. This is a wonderful gathering place for families and friends with easy access to open water and the main highway. We had such a great time here! Judy was a wonderful host and very helpful with local attractions and restaurants for the kiddos. Our group of 9 (6 adults and 3 children) slept comfortably here. They had a blast fishing and crabbing just behind the house!! Would definitely recommend

Amazing home! Everything we needed and more. Plenty of room for everyone. Location was perfect! The outdoor area made this stay a vacation destination. Fish were biting too!

I grew up in a small town in Louisiana. I attended Southeastern Louisiana University for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I am a Speech Pathologist with 30 years in the public school system and mother of three grown children. I have been blessed with two grandsons...so far! My family loves boating and relaxing in Bay St Louis! Downtown is fabulous both day and night...you are sure to enjoy the unique shops, wonderful restaurants, live music, and clean beaches! Also, there are two casinos within 15 minutes from my property. There is something for all ages to enjoy in BSL and the residents are friendly and hospitable.
