The Ebb Tide Beach Bungalow

Welcome to this beautiful bungalow located right on Miramar Beach, steps away from the beach and with magnificent 180 degree views of the Pacific Ocean, Pillar Point and the Princeton Harbor. The home is also a few doors down from the Miramar Beach Restaurant as well as being located on Mirada Road, which is part of the Coastside trail leading as far north as the harbor and all the way south into the charming town of Half Moon Bay. Detour onto HWY 1. Miramar Beach is a destination spot for travelers all over the bay area.

The oceanfront bungalow is located underneath the world renowned jazz club established in 1964, and an Event Center. We do not rent the bungalow when other events are occurring so rest assured that you will have privacy and quiet. There is also a cottage on the property where the caretaker resides and another vacation rental.

Ideal amount of renters would be up to 4 adults and 2 additional children. Minimum age is 25 years old to rent. No pets and no smoking.

There are 2 bedrooms both with queen beds and 1 full bathroom with a shower. There is also a pullout couch.

IMPORTANT: The house has one FULL bathroom with a shower which is only accessible through the master bedroom. So if you are a close friends or family and do not mind this then it is a perfect place for you. You will also have access to two additional restrooms (no shower or bath) located right outside your entry door inside the main building inner hallway but please be aware they are occasionally used by the property manager & staff.

Grocery stores & markets: In Half Moon Bay there is New Leaf & Safeway. In El Granada there is Spangler's Market.

There is plenty to do in the coastal area. The Princeton Harbor is just a 5 minute drive north where you can walk the pier, shop, dine (Ketch Joanne, Barbara’s Fishtrap, and Mezza Luna (Zagat Rated), Half Moon Bay Brewery, Old Princeton Landing Public House & Grill, Breakwater Barbecue, Sam's Chowder House) kayak, surf, take charter fishing and whale watching trips and partake in local nightlife. There is walking/biking along the Coastside Trail that runs right in front of our home. The Fitzgerald Marine Reserve is a 10 minute drive north in Moss Beach. There is plenty of hiking including at Pillar Point where the famous Mavericks surf competition is held and Montara Mountain which has sweeping 360 degree views of the bay area and is about a 15 mile drive north....in addition to hiking the beach!

The charming town of Half Moon Bay is just a 10 minute coastal drive south with unique shopping and dining (Pasta Moon, The Barn, Cantina at San Benito House, Dad's Luncheonette). There is golf at one of the two world famous Ocean Colony Golf Courses and a driving range at Ocean View Driving Range. As mentioned above, the home is attached to a jazz venue called the Bach Dancing & Dynamite which hosts world class jazz on Sundays.

This home is just 30 minutes from San Francisco and the SF Airport. Therefore within minutes you can be in the world class restaurants, museums, shopping, Broadway shows, and music venues. The San Francisco Zoo is only 35 minutes away. One can also head South and be at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk in an hour or inland to Silicon Valley to visit the Tech Museum or 1.5 hours to Monterey and the famous Monterey Aquarium.
