Unfortunately disappointing
When arriving after a long drive to the hotel. We came to a tub that was cracked. And with hair in it as if it wasn't washed. Called front desk he said take pictures of everything and they offered for us to use the shower in the room next to us. It was already 1130pm and I didn't want to take all my things next door as if it was a hostel. I used my slipper and took a quick shower. Then I got a stained towel which was nasty. We originally paid extra for a king size bed. They told us to call the next morning to speak with the property manager Hannah. This was not a pleasant experience. She went on to tell me what there protocols were and that the pictures doesn't match what the cleaning crew sent. At this point I was looking for a solution and all she could offer was 50% of the 1st refunded and cleaning services. And she said that was going above and beyond. I was like no. Then she said she could move us to a two bedroom for more space on a queen/double bed. And a discount to stay with them again. Which is stupid when I paid extra for a king since my bf can't fit on a queen. And im not even mentioning all the other stuff that wasnt up to par.
When I told there that's not a suitable solution she's said we are going around in circles. I said if you aren't able to provide a king bed it's pointless. Why would we need two rooms?!
She agreed to give me a refund for our first night after so much back and forth and said thats again the best they can do. She acknowledged about the tub being broken yet still booked the room and have the audacity to ask if we hit getting into the tub to make it worse. I was like no that's why I asked your front desk person to come check it right away and he said take pictures which i did.. I personally would NOT ever stay here again. This was my bf first time to whistler coming from Jamaica. And what an awful experience. Luckily the outdoor experience in whistler was good.
Very disappointed. And would not recommend
