4th Family Fun

We had a perfect 4th of July! Two families (4 adults and 8 kids, aged 3-15) and we had plenty of room! Great kitchen and deck for meals, grilling, morning coffee, and even hot tub relaxing, for kids & adults! Close proximity to restaurants, and the lake. We would love to stay again!!

Excellent stay

The house was excellent and in a great location! The beds are so comfortable and plenty of room for the family. The arcade system wasn’t working and the kids wanted to try it but the property management did try to fix it. Absolutely recommend Home Plate for your family. Such a beautiful home!

Great family house

We really enjoyed our trip. The best part was being able to walk from the house down to the stocked pond and fish. My kids loved fishing with their grandfather. You can buy bait and rent fishing poles ($5/day) from the clubhouse. We rarely left the resort - the restaurants were either closed or very busy.

Great place for a family getaway

The stay was awesome! And almost everything you need is there waiting on you!! They even had personalized make up towels for the ladies! And a linen closet full of additional towels, sheets, detergents, etc!! I’m sure you get it! And the clubhouse was in walking distance with a swimming pool, pool tables, snacks, polite helpers there to greet you, and the list goes on!!! So glad I made the right decision for our family getaway!

Winter Weather

This place was beautiful and the stay would’ve been perfect were it not for winter weather freezing pipes. By the second day we had water. The property mgr communicated with us throughout. They even offered a refund if we wanted to leave. But we stuck it out and I’m so glad we did!!! This house has so much space to gather! We enjoyed every inch of indoor space during this freeze. We had Christmas lunch catered and that was yummy. Over all, I would definitely recommend staying here. They do an outstanding job!

Home Plate Cabin

Our family enjoyed our stay very much!!!! We appreciated the 3 master bedrooms with their own bathrooms and even had an extra bathroom for the bunk room. Everything worked just fine and we cooked a lot of meals. The hot tub, fire places and tv’s were so easy to operate. The club house was also a great place to hang out. We want to come back when we can swim in the pool. I do have a few minor suggestions. Coffee pot would only make one cup at a time, needs to be a simple coffee pot. Need to supply some pot holders and hand rails for front steps. This place is awesome though!!!!!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time to vacation in Broken Bow and it turned out phenomenal! We loved that the community of Pine Lake is a private development for the homes inside. We were able to walk and enjoy the scenery. The stocked lakes were great fun and our 6 year old daughter caught 11 fish. We caught lots of perch, several catfish and 1 bass. Homeplate Lodge is in a perfect location right by the lake with fabulous views. It was immaculate inside and very welcoming. The floorplan fit our family and was spacious and comfortable. Management did a great job with communication on additional amenities and had firewood and firestarters delivered and ready to go for us! Everything was even better in person and we will certainly be back. There was construction going on, but it didn't bother us. I can't wait to see the additional homes that will be available soon and can't wait for them to complete the clubhouse, playground and pool!

Beautiful Broken Bow, OK

The property exceeded our expectations! This community is a wonderful place to vacation. It has a new community pool right out the back door, near the lake for fishing. No way you can't catch a fish! It was the first time for both our daughter & granddaughter! So fun! Plus this place is located near the state park that has so many things to do. Rain was our only obstacle! Highly Recommend this place!

Nice, but...

Location is way off the beaten path, we were glad we brought the suv. There is a TON of construction going on, which made it difficult to enjoy the outdoor patio and firepit. The wifi only worked in the living room. Other than that, it was a nice rental. It was clean and beautiful.

The view of the water, trees, and sun rise were the perfect way to connect with creation. The location was off the beaten path enough to feel disconnected, but close enough to town for any need or activity. The caretaker was quick in communication, responsive to any needs, and friendly with conversation. We will be returning.

Overall experience was excellent. House had wonderful room for everyone in our party. Kitchen was sufficiently supplied with necessary items. Could use a container to hold soapy water to wash dishes that do not fit in dishwasher, with a large party. Also a drain mat of some sort to place dishes that are hand washed. Wish there were doors on all bathrooms or privacy drapes on windows/doors. Woke up with construction workers parked across creek with clear view into bedroom & bathroom. Bunk room would be nicer with a door to keep out lights from kitchen. Little ones would not be disturbed. Air hockey is outdated and needs to be replaced. Instructions/identifiers to operate light switches and Kerig would have been helpful. Construction workers began sawing lumber at 6:15 a.m. Igniters on outside grill need to be replaced. Only 2 out of 4 were operational. Would be nice to have outside lights strung on trees down to firepit to see where to walk at night. We would stay here again. Thank you for the Christmas tree too. Little ones really liked it.

Amenities (clubhouse, playground) not available - that was disappointing. Management generally responsive and accommodative considering it was a holiday weekend ( Thanksgiving). Overall, a good - not great - experience.

It will be better once the neighborhood construction is complete. There were a couple minor issues (air hockey table didn’t work, bunk bed sheets were dirty, hot tub filter needed to be changed, washing machine smelled & sprinklers smelled) but nothing that would keep us from coming back. The beds were comfy and the view from the balcony was spectacular.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The 10 of us had so much fun staying at the Home Plate cabin! The cabin was impeccably clean & beautifully decorated. There’s so much space here that the bunch of us never felt on top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked with all the appliances & utensils we needed & we all found the mattresses very comfortable. If I had to make one suggestion, it would be to add blinds to the doors in the master bedroom on the first floor that lead out to the back deck. It was a little challenging taking a shower or getting changed since there’s no door for the bathroom area of the room so if anyone was on a certain area of the back deck, they could get an unwanted eyeful HaHaHa! If you plan on a motorcycle trip be prepared for the roads leading to the cabin. They are pretty steep with huge holes & rocks due to the construction going on in the area. Other than that, we would absolutely rent this cabin again & would suggest it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay!

Amazing place!

Only negatives were construction around property and the sprinklers smelling like sewage. The place itself was amazing. The most comfortable beds in a rental EVER!

Beautiful Property

One of my firefighter brothers and I rented the cabin for 4 days. It accommodated our families very well. Between the two families, we had 5 kids, ages ranging from 4-24. Everyone enjoyed the property. The convenience of the pond allowed us to fish in the evenings. The cabin was spotless upon arrival and the property manager was friendly and answered all my questions! I highly recommend The Pine Lake community!
