The cottage on the hill in the woods

Welcome to our home away from home! Located at the end of a short gravel drive, our cottage is conveniently located near many local attractions, restaurants and shopping. It is just 3.8 miles to the French Lick Casino, 5 miles to the West Baden Springs Resort, 6 miles to Paoli Peaks and 15 miles to Patoka Lake or Hoosier National Forest.

Though it is easy to get to, once you arrive you'll be surrounded by woods on your own private 5 acres.

Spend your day relaxing on the porch listening to nature, going for a walk in the woods or enjoying yourself sitting around the fire pit (free firewood included with each stay!) If you do venture out, you can check out all the area has to offer. There is a winery, antique and artisan shops, restaurants, putt-putt golf and much more to see and do!

When inside, you can turn on the flat screen TV to watch one of the streaming services or live TV while using our free Wi-Fi and included Amazon Firestick.

Our little cabin has a 4 person max capacity, including visitors. If you require a space for more than 4 people, unfortunately we won't be able to accept your reservation. Please note, the driveway is narrow and gravel. If you have a boat or a larger vehicle than a truck, such as an RV there is not adequate space to maneuver it up the drive or a place to turn it around so we ask you to find an alternative place to park those vehicles in town or at Patoka Lake.
