Cabin 8 at the Osborn Boat Ramp on Patoka Lake in Southern Indiana is 10 minutes from French Lick, Indiana.
The cabin has 2 bedrooms, living area with couch, streaming channels, electric fireplace, kitchen, newly renovated bathroom, and covered porch with outdoor furniture & ceiling fan. The hot tub is located in the sunroom on the lower level. Beautiful view of the woods from the hot tub! Fire pit.
The kitchen has pots, pans, plates etc. You will need to bring spices and your food. The cabin has a gas grill. You will need to bring firewood. There is a gas station and Dollar General conveniently located 5 minutes form the cabin.
Bedding - 1 Bedroom with a king, 1 Bedroom with a full, queen sleeper sofa in the livingroom.
Swing set for the kids nearby. Games can be found in the cabin and on the porch. Hammock Forest, Outdoor Library and Hiking Trail located on the property!

Sweet little place to stay

Came down for a short fishing trip. Accommodations were great. Bed was comfortable, hot tub was great and the shower was wonderful. Overall a great place. We will be back.

Short trip

Wish it was longer perfect little getaway off the path but not out in the middle of no where a short distance to food and entertainment! Hpt tub and comfy beds was a plus!

Cabin Stay

This place was great. The size was great for just me and my partner and was very peaceful. Great location, close to both French Lick and Marengo Caves. Was a great weekend away.

Great place for a long weekend

We enjoyed our long weekend, cabin was very cozy. For a longer stay, we want a bit more room for 4 of us - but it’s exactly as advertised. The boys enjoyed the hot tub in an air conditioned room.

The cabin was clean, beds were comfortable. Easy access to ice (3 a bag) and propane for gas grill. The A/C couldn't keep up to the above 90 temps outside, bough a box fan and that did the trick. The hot tub was amazing and I was surprised how cool the room was with the outside temp. Will stay again, when we have a boat of our own.

Family reunion

We found the cabin to be easy to find, clean and had everything we needed. After staying for 3 nights we discussed staying for a week on our next to Orange County. We highly recommend French Lick Cabins!

Birthday weekend @ French Lick

Was a great little getaway. The only thing that would have made it perfect would have been having the hot tub in the main cabin VS going outside and back inside on a lower level.

Great Place Great Location

The cabin was great!! The only comment I have is that the floor in the bathroom was in bad shape(very soft in front of the shower) also the log walls could use some cleaning. Other than that it was well stocked with everything we needed and really love the location to the lake.

Beautiful and Thoughtful

My husband and I went to the property for a weekend getaway. The cabin was very clean, and they really do think of everything you may need. Communication was clear and we will definitely be booking again!

Beautiful cabin with extra touches!

We were in town from Indianapolis to go to a concert at the casino. It was Valentine's weekend and the host left a bottle of French lick wine, some chocolates, and wine glasses out. Loved the extra touch! The hot tub was so relaxing We got to play euchre and had an amazing weekend! We will definitely be back! I would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants a special getaway!

long weekend

Took a long weekend for 4 early fisherman. very convenient for boats as the launch is less than 5 mins away. Cabin was good location and clean/nice. Just a little tight for 4 full grown men . Would be perfect for a couple or 3 individuals in my opinion as far as comfort goes. Good facility though. I would recommend booking 2 cabins near each other for extra space. Thanks!

Cabin on Patoka

I regret not booking for 2 days 😪. It was quiet and relaxing. Very clean. Cindy was wonderful with communication. Since it was New Years Day, some restaurants were closed so we tried 33 Brick Street. Great steak! Not sure if they gave us the wrong "ranch" since it tasted like Horseraddish sauce. French Lick is a lovely little weekend (or day in our case) getaway. We will definitely stay at this little cabin village again. It would be a perfect place to bring the family and everyone stays in different cabins. We already planned our next stay here for the upcoming warm months and bring the jet skis. Great location and homey feel.

We all have had them! The long week, Short reboot time.

We have been to French Lick Indiana now twice. We absolutely love the area! The first time we stayed at the Best Western in French Lick, while it was nice we left hurting every morning from there beds. I don’t recommend staying there. Trust me look into the cabins at French lick cabin’s. The cabin we stayed in was very nice, and well supplied. Number 8 has a hot tub that made our stay much more enjoyable. I rented this cabin to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday. Close to a boat ramp at Patoka Lake makes the perfect getaway for the week or a short recharge from the long work week. We will be going back to explore Patoka, French Lick and the surrounding area. Staying with French Lick cabins is a most for us. Comfy beds, quiet front porches. This place has it all. 5 stars is worth it!

Clean, comfy, and relaxing.

The property matched the online pictures. It was clean and well organized. They had lots of extra towels, wash clothes, and hand towels. Stove, microwave, grill, and coffee pot were all clean and in working order. Cute decor and wood carvings in and around the property add character. The hot tub is perfect for two to four people. The king bed was very comfortable. We couldn't hear the neighbors on either side. We had storms both days we were there. I'm assuming the wifi is satellite based. It got a bit spotty and lagged for streaming when the storms were overheaed. Other than that it was an extremely pleasant stay. Would recommend! Also, bring cash to tip the housekeeper.
