This nicely appointed condo is located close to all of Tahoe's major attractions! Perfect for a family or friend getaway. The HOA offers hot tubs, sauna, pool, and more!

Enter on the ground floor and have immediate access to the laundry area, a queen bedroom, and the primary king ensuite. Move upstairs to the open kitchen, dining, and living room, with plush furnishings and a cozy gas fireplace! This middle level also includes a hall bathroom before leading up one more set of stairs to the loft.

Location:
Carnelian Bay is a small town in the middle of Kings Beach and Tahoe City, and central to activities around the Lake. The famous Gar Woods restaurant is located in the heart of Carnelian Bay and offers a beautiful view and public pier. Next door, Patton Beach has beach activity options. In the Winter months, cross country skiing is available within a short drive. Northstar, Palisades Tahoe, Alpine Meadows and approx. 30 minute drive.

NOTE: Carnelian Woods Amenities: Hot Tubs are Typically open daily in summer and winter, Saturdays only in spring and fall. Pool and Tennis open summer only. Please check website for Spa/Hot Tub hours at carnelianwoods.org

Parking:
Parking is available for 2 cars. No street parking per county ordinance.
Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

Other things to Note:
* Renters must be 25+
* This is a non-smoking home.
* Pets are not allowed at this home.
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 6 adults.
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Use of outdoor furniture is not guranteed in the winter.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!
* Your safety matters. This property may features exterior security cameras. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras will continuously record video and sound while guests are in residence.

The perfect location for a wedding at Jake's on the Lake, it is literally a short walk to the lake and restaurants. We really enjoyed the smallbalcony we sat and had coffee and a glass of wine. We cooked in the kitchen one night, which was well appointed. We loved all the personal touches, the welcome package and the comfy bedding and beds. This was a great value and was completely updated. We did not use the pool or other amenities however we did walk around them and they were very well maintained.

Super cute, clean, updated. Loved sitting in back patio listening to the leaves rusting in the wind. Not too far from the lake but far enough to enjoy the quiet. Mgmt company was in communication and answered all questions. Would stay here again!

Great Location

We had a great time in Carnelian Bay. This place is located near the woods and also just a short walk to the lake. We walked to the lake daily and even got to see a bear in the woods behind the unit.

Nice Property for Family

My family really enjoyed the property. We thought without the AC maybe an issue but it was actually fine. Overall we really liked our stay.

Ski Trip

Great cozy place with a good access to the ski slopes. Sidewalks were plowed promptly. Easy and easy out.

Perfect for families!

We are a family of 6 and this condo was perfect for our vacation. Pros: washer/dryer, spacious main bedroom (we were able to comfortably fit our pack and play), pool and hot tub, short walk down to the lake, parking is easy, hiking trails, full kitchen. Cons: no bbq, the downstairs toilet wouldn’t always flush. We would definitely return to this condo!

Third Stay at Family Condo in Carnelian Woods

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our third stay and we like the condo but we did not like the changes that have been made. We like the price, location, kitchen, and that it is kept up very well, so overall we like it. But the living room is less and less family friendly and less a place to relax: the coffee table is gone, replaced by two small useless wicker benches, with rounded tops so you can't really place anything on them; the two chairs and couch are too formal to relax in; and the carpet has been replaced with wood floors, which look nice but are colder and not good for a winter with so much snow. Everything else is fine so it is mainly that as a "family" condo it is not a comfortable place for a family to be able to relax in - you have to go into one of the bedroom to relax. It has been a good place but I think we will look at other properties for our next visit.

This place fit our needs for our trip. It was close to the slopes, had great restaurants nearby, and was a cozy environment. Really enjoyed staying here!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The townhouse unit was in great location and very clean. Furnishings were very dated. Living room furniture looks nice but is not very comfortable. And despite advertising the pool amenity it was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and only open from 10-4 other days - a disappointment and we never got to the pool as result of a busy schedule. Beach was right down the street and golf and restaurants were close by. As I said - loved the location and unit was just okay.

Reviewer Comments: We had a good time in Tahoe where we have visited many times but it always amazes me how most of our rentals are in drastic need of updating.The furniture, appliances, bathrooms are right out of the 70's or 80's. This is definitely a Tahoe phenomenon which I'm assuming is due to continued demand that allows the owners to get away with it. This condo was poorly appointed with a bare minimum of kitchenware.I have no complaints against Tahoe Rental Company who are nothing but professional and available during emergencies such as losing the key (guilty). One phone call and we were able to get in 5 minutes later.I will use them again.
