Fall art festival, Renningers Antique extravaganza, Light Up Mount Dora, paddle boat ride on the Dora Queen and so much more, manatees in Blue Springs, great bicycle trails. Visiting for a wedding, family reunion, fishing tournament, or the holidays.

Couples, girlfriends, or families this is your home-away-from-home accommodations for a getaway stay in the Central Florida area.

Comfortable 3 bed, 2 bath cottage home in the Historic District of Mt Dora Florida. Everything is within a few blocks any direction. Airport and attractions within an hour drive! This cottage has everything you need. Come enjoy festivals, fishing the Harris Chain of Lakes, walk to downtown for dinner or shopping, so many choices for antiquing, Art Festivals in the fall and spring, Farmers market on the weekends, theater, bike trails, boat rentals and nature hiking. There are numerous state parks to explore, great golfing, world class fishing, Lakeridge winery, beaches, wedding/event venues, antique extravaganzas.

House was very clean and well appointed but the master bedroom was a bit small. Laundry was in the garage and not accessible from the house. Walking distance to downtown was very nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! Very good value.

Thank You for choosing to stay with us and sharing your feedback. As you could imagine when the cottage was built 100 years ago, there was neither running water or electricity. So to modernize the home, adding a bathroom to the master bedroom (an already tiny room) took more square footage from the room space. In addition, washer and dryer were not part of the original design. We decided to add these amenities for our guests and the garage was the only option.

Excellent vacation cottage!

Fun place to stay!

We absolutely loved this cottage. It was very clean and homey. The neighborhood was quiet and very friendly. Mount Dora has the cutest downtown with wonderful shops and restaurants.

Great stay!

Quaint, clean, and well appointed, this property has everything we needed, and it's located very close to downtown. Kimberly was very responsive and accommodating . We'd stay there again.

Great getaway

Stayed five nights and was not disappointed. Cottage was clean, check in was a breeze. Property was located nearby everything in mt dora. Will definitely stay again.

Very nice place

The house was very clean, nice & everything we needed. We were close to downtown shopping & all the restaurants. The owners were very nice, they made sure are stay was comfortable & if we needed anything they were there to help. Would definitely recommend this place & would stay again. Thanks!

Quaint house close to downtown

Pleasant stay. One suggestion is both commode seat lids were difficult to raise and keep in upright position.

Thank You for sharing your feedback. The seats that you mentioned were brand new and installed right before your arrival. Perhaps because they were new they were a little stiff and had not been used.

Cozy and clean

Stayed in the home from November 25th - December 1st. It was clean, cozy and well appointed. We enjoyed our week-long stay and enjoyed many walks into Mt. Dora for morning coffee!

Girls weekend

Nice location. Just a half a mile from the historic District Mt. Dora. Lots of unique little shops and restaurants.

Nice place for a family get away

Clean, quiet neighborhood, and a nice 15 min walk into downtown Mt Dora or a minute drive to public parking there. Will likely utilize again next year.

Lovely Home Convenient to Downtown Mount Dora

We arrived at the scheduled time and was greeted by a clean and welcoming home. We were close to downtown and other restaurants in the area. The home was exactly as described, and we enjoyed our stay.

Great Mt Dora location

Owner was very quick to respond, location is within walking distance of cute restaurants, quiet neighborhood, linens were nice, place was clean. If I had to say one thing that would’ve been a more convenient stay would be to have a coded door lock instead of having to keep up with keys. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Amazing little cottage.

We stayed in this place for a Highschool Bass tournament at it was perfect. The parking made it super simple for us to have our boat there. The amenities in the house were amazing as well. The beds were perfect after long days on the water. I will definitely be reaching out to stay again.

wonderful host and property

The house is very well equipped, maintained and located. The parking in town was nonexistent but we could walk anywhere from the house. Host Kimberly was lovely.

Charming Cottage

This is a charming old cottage that has been renovated very well. It's on a quite street, and a 10-15 walk (depending on how fast you walk) from down town Mt. Dora.

We LOVE the location!! Neighborhood is so nice and quiet. We have truly enjoyed getting to know the neighbors and taking walks, and learning all the history of the local area.

SUPER location to head into downtown Mount Dora for dining, shopping, walking to Gilbert Park for Sunset by the lighthouse or making a quick drive to Rennigers for antiquing and the Farmers Market. Very central and easy access to everything from fishing, boating, the theater, and the festivals.
