Get away for a short term vacation or longer term stay for a change of work scenery to this gorgeous lakefront house perfectly situated minutes from Seneca falls, Ithaca, the outlets and all of the wineries on both Cayuga and Seneca Lakes. Recently renovated, this charming house is completely furnished for your enjoyment and comfort. This house has an open concept kitchen/dining/living room overlooking pristine Cayuga lake and is perfect for gatherings and enjoying friends and family. This home offers water views from every bedroom with the largest bedroom opening onto an enclosed porch with 180 degree lake views. There is an additional living room/game room upstairs that can also be used as a sleeping porch (4th bedroom). The house is just steps from the water and also offers grassy yards on the lower and upper portions of the property. There is a full bathroom on the upper level where the bedrooms are located and a half bath for convenience on the lower level. ALL THE INSIDE AMENITIES YOU COULD WANT ARE PROVIDED FOR YOUR COMFORT AND STRESS-FREE LIVING: free WiFi, two cable TVs (living room and large bedroom) and a Roku TV in the sleeping porch, microwave, Keurig machine, Ninja, cookware and serving ware, washer/dryer, linens, extra blankets, comfy couches, two living areas, and soothing dĆ©cor. OUTSIDE, EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO RELAX AND HAVE FUN ARE PROVIDED: BBQ grill, kayaks, paddle boards and inflatable rafts. THE LOCATION CANNOT BE BEAT.Ā  A four and a half hour drive from NYC and 45 minutes from two major airports (Syracuse and Rochester).Ā  The house is minutes from all the Finger Lake wineries, the town of Seneca Falls (where ā€œItā€™s a Wonderful Lifeā€ was filmed and the home of the first women's rights convention), and a newly constructed womenā€™s history museum. The house is also not far from the popular and charming Skaneateles. An easy one-mile walk brings you to a state park on the lake with trails, a boat launch, sandy beaches, a playground and picnic tables.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house and within 15 feet of the house. Although the house is not child-proof, children are welcome.Ā  Occupancy is limited to 6 maximum, but with prior notice, can sleep up to 8. The house offers parking for 3 vehicles. Note: there is a flight of steps to get from the parking area at road level to the house at lake level but when you see what LIVING ON THE LAKE offers, it is completely worth it.Ā

Fantastic week on the lake at this cute cottage. Despite lots to do in the surrounding area, we barely left the property - bouncing between the multiple rooms and outdoor spaces. Amazing sunrises. Lots of water toys to play with. Hosts were very responsible and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent stay during 4th of July week. The house is a gem on Cayuga Lake. Great Location. House has everything that you need to enjoy your time on the lake. We enjoyed the kayaks and the stand up paddleboard as well.

The view of Cayuga Lake from the patio and the living room was as beautiful as advertised and the property was well stocked for our visit. I will say, arachnophobes may want to avoid, since we encountered plenty of 8-legged friends in the cabin, but that didn't bother any of us since we're used to country life. As light sleepers, all the creaks and knocking of the house did make it difficult to sleep peacefully.

Relaxing Family Time at Cayuga Lake

Charming and well stocked with anything you need in the kitchen (I would only add a meat thermometer), we really enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of supplies on hand and paddle boards etc to enjoy the lake. We loved the porches and the fire pit. The host and manager were easy to contact for incidental needs/questions.The stairs are pretty steep if you have mobility issues. Overall wonderful!

Lakeside Getaway

My wife and I had a great stay here while visiting Seneca falls and the local winery/breweries. Amazing views of the lake and a fully stocked kitchen allowed us to really unwind in the evening. We look forward to staying here again when we visit the area in the future.

Relaxing Getaway

Very comfy cottage right on the lake with some nice updates and amenities I donā€™t usually see in similar properties Iā€™ve stayed at. Everything was as described and the area was very peaceful. It was also nice being so close to Seneca Falls. Plenty of restaurants nearby as well as a couple grocery stores so we were able to pack light. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

We very much enjoyed our staff. The house was very clean and one of the most well stocked kitchens I have seen. The location was perfect for exploring the region! We would love to come back in the summer to take advantage of the lake activities.

Beautiful weather and great trip

Our family throughly enjoyed our stay at Cayuga Lake. The house had everything we needed and the kids loved the paddle boards and kayaks. The fishing was great. The water off the dock was pretty murky for swimming but we found a great spot at Seneca State Park.

Mid -week Finger Lakes getaway with ftiends

Nice lake front property. Just what we wanted to visit with friends. We chose to eat at home each nite and the kitchen was great to work in. Plenty of dining out options also near by. Many of the wineries are within 15 minutes of the house. Great overall experience! are within 15 min of the house.
