Located 7 minutes from Liberty University - 3 minutes from Glencliff Manor!

Thank you for viewing our pet friendly home. After an addition, our home has a new full bathroom plus a new bedroom with gorgeous views through the double-hung window of the pond and a walk-in closet. All rustic themed! 4 bedroom and 3 full bathroom home.

Please note: We have respect for all renters, but will only rent this home to those with a proven track record of taking great care of the places they rent. New travelers are encouraged to contact us and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The gorgeous attic has been converted to a 4th bedroom. Please see the pictures for our new log stump dining table, chairs and bench. Everything about it is gorgeous. Liquid glass filled table. Plus our new queen log bed with double spindles! Check out the pictures of all as we continue to make upgrades to our home!

This waterfront home brings the "wow" factor for us. We hope you will feel the same. We have a boat for the pond, a 3 burner BBQ grill, wood fireplace through a handmade stone chimney, screened-in deck, basketball hoop, game room, and so much more.

That feeling when you come back to the property and the person who is most involved in the cleaning process is all smiles? Awesome lake home!

Overall great place to stay!

Our family was in town for a wedding at a local venue close by. The property was absolutely great. Perfect fit for our adult kids and two grandkids. Our host was awesome and quick to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommend!

Nick and his wife/group took exceptional care of our home during their stay. For a 4 day stay it was amazing to us how little we had to do on the back end after they left. I would welcome Nick back any time to rent my home.

Great Basecamp for Liberty Graduation Weekend

We could not have asked for a better place to stay for our son's LU graduation weekend. The perfect property and the PERFECT LOCATION. We did alot of cooking and this property had everything we needed. The house was so peaceful and quiet. Thank you for providing such a great place. We have memories of a lifetime.

Jim and his family are literally some of the best guests we've ever had the privilege of having rent our home. Jim was extremely easy to communicate with, and the home and property were left in perfect condition with all steps taken to clean up after themselves. Great Stay, Would Return

We stayed at the property with a group of adult leaders for our church youth group. We had a wonderful stay. The owners were great at communication and went above and beyond. They even had some water, snacks, and more available for us. Everything was taken care of. If we ever need accommodations in the area, we would definitely rent again.

We just continue to be fortunate enough to have the most amazing guests. Mary and her group were incredible. She went out of her way to provide approximate arrival time and followed up when her group departed. Amazing care was given to the home during the stay and they did everything possible with our requested house rules. Consider yourself beyond fortunate if Mary shows interest in renting your home. Great property!

We booked Ryan’s place for my husband’s birthday weekend. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. The house is beautiful and clean with many nice amenities. The kitchen was perfectly suited for all our needs; open to the rest of the house making our meal gatherings both cozy and spacious.

Awesome home for all ages

Our family rented the home to gather for thanksgiving. It’s the perfect home for all ages to have a relaxing fun time together. Every now and then you run into a renter that goes above and beyond in caring about how they take care of a place while they're there, and how they leave a place when they depart. We stayed at this house for a family wedding. Incredibly comfortable house. Truly a home away from home. Great location. The house was fully stocked with anything you could need. Wonderful Property

This was a wonderful property for our stay for Liberty University Graduation 2023. It is close the University in a residential neighborhood but feels very private and secluded. The house is roomy and 8 of us stayed comfortably. The screened in porch overlooking the pond was my favorite spot. The owner was great to work with and super responsive. I highly recommend this property.

Following Anna and her groups stay, it was said that "the only way you could tell they were there were by a few of the essentials that were used". That feeling of coming home to a renter who has treated the home with that level of care could never get old. Anna was simply amazing from the time she booked the home until the wonderful words she left today. It was a privilege to have someone in our home like that. The perfect get away

From the peaceful mornings overlooking the pond to the fabulous Halloween decor, this home creates an incredibly relaxing and homey environment to help make your stay inviting and relaxing. There are thoughtful details added to every room and you are made to feel like a very welcomed guest. They had a coffee bar, twinking lights, Mrs. PacMan machine, fire pit, too many wonderful amenities to add and now... a basketball hoop! Our family loves the home away from home close to LU

Great place!

Our family of 7 (2 adults + 5 kids) stayed here for my husband’s PhD graduation from Liberty. We loved every part of this house. The kids especially loved the gameroom and basketball goal. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The outdoor area is beautiful and peaceful, and we loved the neighborhood. The home is located minutes away from anything you might need or want but feels like you are tucked away in the woods. We will definitely come back!

There's a special ingredient people who rent vacation homes, or are close to someone who does, have that just provides the wow factor when you come back and see the property. Parris is one of those people, and I can say 100% that we were lucky she chose to stay with us. The home was impeccable upon return. The laundry process was started. It literally seemed like no one had been there. Consider yourself beyond fortunate should Parris choose to rent from you. We can only hope she'll choose us again some day.

Family Time and LU Visit

This is a new favorite home away from home for our family. We stayed here while taking a family trip to visit our daughter, who is a student at Liberty Univ. The location to campus was excellent while also providing a secluded getaway. The amenities and environment are phenomenal. All the little details including the decor, twinkling lights, boats for the pond, coffee bar, screened porch overlooking the pond, retro video game, etc make this a wonderful place and were all appreciated. Ryan’s communication is fantastic and he went above and beyond to help us feel welcomed. This rental is a must see gem… my children have all said we have to stay here again the next time we visit LU.

I don't think nicer words have ever been said from a renter on any site the home is on. But that falls straight in-line with how you took care of the place, with the person who cleans-up saying "this is amazing. I hope they come back again."

Paradise Near Lynchburg

If you're looking for a five-star getaway, this is the property for you. We rented this property for our son's graduation weekend and it was absolutely perfect. Ryan was on top of every aspect of our stay. The house is very private and offers all the amenities you could possibly desire. The great room, dining room, and kitchen are all open concept and this area opens up to a screened-in porch and open deck overlooking the pond out back. The four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms offered a ton of space for a family of 6. The house offers everything you would need for a home away from home. The welcome package was incredible and provided more extras than we could use. Fishing on the pond was also a highlight during our stay. We caught some sizable fish and it made the adventure even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a spot to really kickback and relax, I would definitely recommend this property. From the personal touches to the home itself, you just can't go wrong. Thanks again for a lifetime memory!!!

Very nice house on pond

The house was secluded on a pond that is shared with one other house. The owners added several nice touches, including snacks and some breakfast foods. Nights were quiet. The owners communicated with us regularly to make sure everything was going well. We would like to visit again in nicer weather.

Cozy Cabin Weekend Getaway

This is a great property! Conveniently located (only a few miles to Lynchburg), but still feels serene and private! It was a perfect getaway for 4 couples. We loved the fire pit and the decor/vibe of the house!

Fabulous stay in a beautiful setting

Loved our cabin stay. Lots of extras like coffee and snacks; the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils as well. Large rooms, great central living space, screened patio and a pond that came with a giant inflatable boat with oars. Really had a special stay!

Thanksgiving vacation

We stayed here during this thanksgiving, we are happy to have our thanksgiving gathering in such a beautiful house. Ryan is very pleasant and approachable. Location is quite and cozy. There is a beautiful pond back of the house with nice view.

Jeff was an outstanding guest. Great communication and took wonderful care of the home. We would consider ourselves fortunate if he ever wanted to come back. Very highly recommended renter.

Kelly was a phenomenal guest in every way possible. We were fortunate she chose our home for her stay. Highly recommended renter whom we can only hope will return some day.
