Our 8700 foot elevation gives Winter Park a prolonged ski season and an outstanding cooler summer climate you arrive early I suggest that you check out your place and if it is ready and clean, you can go ahead in, we just can't assure it.
Some people call this the "Winery" or "grotto" since we upgraded with a full brick Arch and new premium granite, We also put in an extra shower to make your stay more comfortable. The bathrooms are both upscale porcelain tile and tastefully decorated , as well as with the Stainless appliances, In the end of 2015 we are upgraded to a Queen sized Marriott bed in one room and a Marriott King in the other. Both are rated number one in type of mattress according to numerous google searches.- (the highest rated by most travel professionals ( check Google) The wood floors add to the warm feel.
BEST SKIING ON THE FRONT RANGE= from beginner to advanced ( best moguls in the country according to Ski magazine), Summer MOUNTAIN BIKE haven - over 600 miles of trails and hiking that scour the forest right from the boundaries of the property. (Just head up behind the rec center) Views of Byers Peak, Open the windows and hear the gurgling Frazer river trout stream. From the family room you look across to beautiful evergreen forests frosted in icicles in the winter. A real fireplace adds to the romance, and the accommodation's for 8 (if needed) add to the flexibility and value.
NOTE: The Rec Center is finished and offer hot tubs, heated pool TV rooms Even an outdoor hot tub.
If more room is needed we rent the one bedroom, one bath, and kitchen unit right NEXT DOOR. It’s a great concept for Grandma and Grand Pa or multiple families.
This home is close to the town- we walk to Hernando's pizza, Strip and Tail and the Mexican food restaurant. Rent movies or bring your computer to hook up to the FREE INTERNET. . Make this 'your' place too!
Need More Space? We also own the one bedroom unit next door, for privacy or large groups, make some great holiday memories. MasterCard & Visa are accepted.

Great location

We spent 4 nights and everything was great. The location was perfect. Just a 10 minute drive to the ski area at Winter Park, and walking distance to town. Kitchen and bathrooms were beautifully updated and having a washer and dryer was very convenient. The pool and hot tubs were great after a long day of skiing. Would definitely stay there again.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a nice review. We love our places and compare when we travel. We try doing the VRBO thing and lat week we got a place that was substandard and went instead to the La Quinta. While the la Quinta in Moab was nice,, it's amazing what you get for the same price in a VRBO condo, Cooking facilities, upscale accommodations I truly think that a good VRBO place is a find, Keep them handy for future reservations. We are definitely looking for a better one when we go to Moab, but haven't found one yet...

Great Place to stay

Our family enjoyed staying here. The space we needed to spread out and relax was great. The pool and hot tubs were an added bonus. Enjoyed the newly renovated bathrooms as well. Was nice to know they had all of the kitchen supplies I would need for cooking. When we come again I won't have to pack a crockpot or pans. Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed here in September and absolutely Loved it!! The couches were so comfortable and I want that faux finish in my living room. I was a little disappointed that the clubhouse wasn't open during the weekdays, but I would definitely stay here again.

Cozy place close to restaurants

Had a great time in this cozy 3 br condo. The place has been recently remodeled and was nicely appointed. My only gripe is the brick archway is at head height so you kind of have to duck to avoid it. Other than that our group enjoyed staying here and would stay here again!

We really enjoyed the use...

We really enjoyed the use of the condo located in Winter Park. The location was great witht he shuttle to the ski resort right in front of the building. The condo had a kitchen with all of the needed tools to make a nice meal. The pool and hot tub on the grounds provided for an evening of relaxation after a day on the slopes. The commuication with the owner was great and hope to someday return. Perfect for the 4 adults and 3 children that went!

Winter Wonderland

This was a great place for our family of 5. We stayed for Thanksgiving and went skiing 4 days. It was wonderful. The place is located in the heart of Downtown Winter Park and the bus came by the condo a couple times a day to take you to the slopes. You didn't need to walk to the main street. The Condo had plenty of room and we enjoyed family dinners and a fire every night. Would highly recommend this place.

Wonderful, Convenient Condo

Beautifully upgraded condo convenient to everything in Winter Park. Would have given five stars except for the fact that silverware and bedding needs to be upgraded to match condo. We ate all our meals in condo so lack of a dining table made things a little tight for a family of five. Had a great Christmas vacation Thank you.

Thanks for the nice review. As you may know storing sheets is a problem up here. We have looked for a condo linen service and try to get affordable cleaning service. Anyone wanting to start a business might take note, Condo owners could definite use this service. As far as flatware, I think that it matches but might need an upgrade to a more substantial set, these were still from when all we had up here was an ALCO. Now we don't have anything for home wares and have to buy in Denver and bring them up. Thanks, we continually work on improving and will work on these items. I am glad you made memories with your family. That's what we live for. I guess.

Perfect Condo for our family vacation

We stayed in the 3 bedroom condo and it was perfect for two families, total of 4 adults and 4 children. The shuttle stops directly outside the unit and it's a short ride to the mountain. The condo was very comfortable and we loved all of the updates. The showers and beds were great! We would highly recommend this condo and we look forward to coming back! The owner, Jasen was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. He even brought us some fire wood! Thanks for an awesome experience and time.

Great Vacation and Great Condo!

We just spent 5 great days skiing in Winter Park. We had the best time and the accomodations were great. The condo has everything you need from a dishwasher, large toaster for bagels, 1 1/2 bathrooms and plenty of bed space. We had 9 people in our group and everyone had a bed. In my book this is the best place per dollar that we have ever stayed at in Winter Park! Not only does it have everything that you need, the free bus shuttle comes right to the parking lot! Thanks Jasen for being a part of the best family vacation that we have ever had!! We will be back!

I want to go back!

Awesome! The condo provided a great location for treasured memories my family will never forget. The condo was roomy and actually sleeps eight! Our four girls had fun sleeping in the room with the bunk beds. That left one room unused and we were still comfortable. We rented a car but really didnt need it with the bus stop right in front of the condo. Thank you for the affordable opportunity to build a lifelong memory. Hope to visit again!

Not too bad!

Our stay at this condo was very relaxing, which is what we were going for. The nights we stayed, there were very very few people around so it was very quiet and relaxing. The only issues we had were that we could not get the Netflix to work and there was a bunch of painting stuff left in one of the bedrooms. Jasen was notified and quick to respond! Neither of these issues affected our stay significantly but it was nice to have such a quick response. This condo was very affordable and fit our needs nicely! I would definately recommend it as well as return for another stay in the future!

Thanks so much Liz..I had some repairs done to the owners closest and I guess the workperson's didn't know how to put the stuff away after they repaired the closet..I recently put it away..I am working on restoring Netflix as it got hijacked I have to find a way to permanently put the code into the DVd so that you can viwe on the flat screen. I also added another DVD on the other television so that you can access free streaming movies from that room too...Thanks Liz for the nice right up, Jasen

Great condo in heart of Winter Park

We initially had a hard time choosing whether to stay at the Winter Park resort or offsite ----after staying at this offsite condo, I knew we made the right choice. My wife & I along with 3 teens stayed here for our spring break ski trip. Its close to all the skiing / snowtubing / & snowmobiling sites without the hassle of fighting for resort parking. There is a free bus (pickup right in front of the condo) that picks you up & takes you to all the Winter Park activities. My favorites---nicely stocked kitchen (all cookware - plates -glasses you'll need) / ultra quiet appliances (dishwasher / washer-dryer) / & entertainment. They have well over 100 DVD movies there in the condo - plus access to wifi & Hulu / Netflix thru their DVD system. Another included feature---free Recreation Ctr = Indoor pool / 2 indoor hottubs / 1 outdoor hottub / pool table / workout room / showers-lockers / couches & TV / computer. I enjoyed sitting outside in the hottub--30 degrees above the water / 120+ degrees in the hottub---it was great. If you are on the fence about renting this VRBO condo----don't hesitate Casey

Awesome first ski vacation in Winter Park

We’re driving back to Chicago from an incredible family vacation in winter park writing this review so all the details are very fresh. First, Jasen was amazing to work with as we asked questions about the property to coordinate our stay since it was our first time in Colorado. We even had a question on new year eve and she emailed back within minutes. The condo itself was super clean and had literally everything we needed. All we had to do was grab food at the Safeway right down the street...but all the basics were well stocked. The beds were very comfortable, there was plenty of hot water for a family of 6 and overall we were really comfortable. We even made a fire one night which worked out well. The two best parts of this particular condo is that the bus to winter park resort picked us up right in front of our condo which worked out perfect. The rec center was so clean and new. We met the 3 other families we traveled with at the rec center every night. The kids played pool and poker and swam, the guys soaked in the hot tub and watched the game on the huge TV and there was a large dining room table that we had appetizers and dinner at each night. This condo and location are a really great choice. If you’re debating it...don’t...book now.

Great summer getaway - Fraser River fishing just steps away!

Spent a week at this Hi Country Haus unit in Winter Park. Have been vacationing in Winter Park since childhood. Always enjoyed the area. This year we celebrated my 40th birthday here with our family of five. This condo was a perfect fit for our bunch. We used our own pack & play for our two year old in the fish-themed bedroom. Plenty of room for the portable crib setup beside of the bed. This room also has a vanity sink. Our two older children really enjoyed the bunkbed room with the video game setup. The bunkbeds can accommodate four and the other two bedrooms can hold two each. Spacious full bath with shower in hallway that separates bedrooms. Wife and I slept very comfortably in the denim-themed room that has its own half-bath. Clean, neatly appointed condo in a wonderful location. Easy and enjoyable walk to restaurants and shops either via town sidewalks or back trails by the river. Well planned walking/biking trail that loops around the river is a nice retreat. Really enjoyed the proximity of the Fraser River, the aroma of the forest and the friendly wildlife. Spotted deer, a fox, lots of birds, many chipmunks and squirrels. Missed out on seeing two bears that were near my fishing area, but that was surely to my fortune. The owner, Jasen, was very responsive from the beginning of our booking. Nice to deal with people who genuinely want your vacation experience to be the best. We hope to return the same unit next summer and for many years to come. Top notch owners and a great riverfront locale. Great memories made here.

Was able to accommodate on short notice.

We were happy that we were able to find a place after our Estes Park condo became unavailable due to the flooding issues that took place in the month earlier. Jasen was able to quickly help us to get our trip started in Colorado by having the space cleaned on a moments notice for our arrival. The listing is accurately described and there is a lot of sleeping space. The newly installed hardwood floors were very nice. The eating area would be very small for large groups, the 1/2 bath on-suite is VERY small and more closet like with the bi-fold door and the one drawer in the kitchen and the refrigerator handle were both broken, but due to the age of the condo was understandable. The sink in the one bedroom we found odd, but was not an issue. One other reviewer did mention the trains and yes, it was an issue. If you do not enjoy or are a light sleeper or like the windows open at all, you will notice the amount of train whistles while trying to sleep. There was road maintenance when we arrived and had to find a workaround to get onto the property, but there is more than one way onto the Hi Haus property. We walked along the river area that is right outside the doorway. Early one morning while leaving, we were greeted by a fox that was very comfortable hanging around the parking area. An issue we had with the cable was easily answered by Jasen via text. This suited our purposes of getting close to RMNP and was happy that Jasen was so accommodating on short notice. Since it was off season, some things were not open everyday, but we were able to get by. Thanks again for our first trip to the Winter Park area.

We have completely gutted and remodeled since this review.. The one thing about the train is present in all of winter park, however, we are about as far away from the train as can be in the town of Winter Park and Fraser. Also the train horn has been greatly ameliorated by an agreement and redesign of the crossroads.. The train folks are not required anymore to blow there horns because the roadways have been changed with gates and barriers that don't allow passenger cars to sneak around the barriers. I haven't noticed the train much of late..

The photos were very misleading. The space was very small. It’s also upstairs.

A side rail on the bunk bed fell off when our six year old was sleeping- very dangerous.

Hello Megan I am very sorry that your vacation wa somewhat dissapointing. We value vacations as important part of unstreesing in todays' busy world, That is why we bought this place for our enjoyment. We do have the square footage of our place listed (995) so that people can make a good choices for there stay. In the Resort areas the other options for this price point are very limited. Compared to the Best Western hotel that lies right on a parking lot on the highway nearby, we offer three instead of one bedroom, a full upscale kitchens and bathrooms with tile not fiberglass showers, excellent washer and dryer, acess to a modern rec center with heated [ool ad hottubs and a location that cannot be beat on a trout stream on the Fraser river. .. These places are not profitable even though my place is rented out very very frequently. We only help to stave off the expenses so that we can use this wonderful place in a wonderufl location when we can take time off. If more space is needed , we rent out the one bedroom place next door. That would give four bedrooms and two complete kitchens. It offer a Marriott King bed and full kitchen too and can be connected for your stay. It adds 445 square feet for almost a 1500 living space. Once again, I am sorry to dissapoint. I hope you can find a better option somewhere in the world on your next vacation Megan.

Good location, brought my dog

The location was good, not a far drive or shuttle run to Winter Park Resort. Hernando's pizza was walkable and a great place to eat. The rec center was nice, crowded at times but nice and the swipe keys didn't work to get in at first so we drove to go get them remagnatized. The condo was small feeling but fine because we wanted 3 bedrooms and I wanted to bring my dog. Having a washer dryer was nice. I did have to wash the shower liner because it was orange and moldy and smelly. The king size bedroom where washer and dryer are was not comfortable, you could tell it was an old mattress with sunk in areas where people have slept. My little brother liked the bunk beds room (hard mattresses) and my parents liked the queen bedroom with attached bathroom. The unit was clean-ish, not super clean. Under couches were dusty and dirty, I only looked because a game piece of ours went under. Appeared no sweeping or vacuuming had happened for awhile. Food items were left in fridge and freezer from previous people? Dishwasher was tiny. The wood fireplace was great, we got wood and used it nightly for the week. We did hear the neighbors a lot and people going up and down the stairs outside front door. We bought food from Safeway in Fraser and prepared meals there mostly, lots of pans, lots, and cooking utensils in unit made that easy. Overall, decent week long stay. It fit our needs and we were mostly happy and found it to be convenient for our needs. Happy I could bring my little dog, great fireplace, good location. Owner was friendly and responsive.

Great place

We visited with children and having access to the pool was perfect. Nice facilities. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything that we needed. Some places don't have half the stuff that this kitchen has. When vacationing with children a kitchen is a must. Thank you!

Cozy condo cabin with a view!

We enjoyed the cozy layout, which felt more like a cabin than a condo. With open windows we were always able to hear the Fraser River, which was right in front of our cabin. The kitchen was fully furnished, and the bedrooms were comfortable and adequate. This rental was so clean it felt like we were the first guests! The only problems were with cable and Internet access, which were a bit frustrating opening weekend of college football. However, Jason, the owner, did his best to help us try to get it working by calling the cable company. Comcast wasn't able to send anyone out until after our stay.

Thanks for the very nice review Comcast sure takes awhile to fix things. They messed with rhe exterior box and left us without cable. Luckily we had high soeed internet. My sin has figured a way to get sports ganes on internet in a cable energency but i dint have that skill yet. Anyways, im glad we could welcome you to the Colorado mts cynthia and family. It was a pleasure meeting you.

Great weekend!

We loved Jasen's place. Great location, quiet, next to river. Fishing was a blast in the meadow below the condo. We will definitely go back as soon as possible!!

Thanks Becky fir the review. You are right. Our normal bedding is out at the cleaners after a busy summer. We did buy a back up comforter though and it us in the car ready to be delivered We had some great pillows but they seemed to walk away. We are trying to figure out how to replace and keep them. We are probabky going to get new ones that arent quite as expensive from Costco

Great condo in Winter Park !

Great three bedroom two bath condo in Winter Park Colorado. It looks over a stream which provides beautiful scenery . It's super close to town and also close to a Safeway for grocery shopping . There's a trail that runs very close to the condo along the Fraser River. You will also have access to a great rec center with a pool, hot tubs, large common area with a TV and a pool table. Communication with Jason was very easy. We had a great time!

Good experience!

Overall it was a nice place. The location was great. It was very easy to find restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, and the resort to ski. The condo was nice. The place was a little smaller Than the pictures made it seem, but I will say with 4 kids the washer and dryer was a major bonus. The bunk beds were a little weird. One had too many mattresses on and one mattress was a little ripped. We had all the items we needed to make meals in the condo. Our kids loved the rec center with pool and hot tubs as well as a pool table area. The only negative I have would be the whole parking area and road leading up to condo is dirt which made for quite a mess. I'm happy we chose their place as our first Colorado experience. The owners were very friendly and extremely helpful and willing to provide information through the whole processes beginning to end.

Thanks Tiffany for the great review. The location of the condo is great and like you said convenient. We love to stay in it ourselves but it has been so popular that we haven't been able to the whole ski season. Having said that , I appreciate you telling me about the kid's mattresses. We recently have put in expensive Marriott and Serta mattresses for the adult sleeping room. I will check to see the kids mattress when I have a break between guests ( right now the place is rented fully until the end of the season. but I will take a peak today when my current guests leave.) Yes, and the dirt roads. Usually, it is fully covered in snow until about the end of April, this year we had incredible snowfall in January and didn't have incredible snowfall in March. It caused the roads to be uncovered. Our association has been dabbling with the idea of paving which I resisted due to the nice country road feel in summer But I think you are right during the time that we may have the spring thaw. Overall I am glad you made some memories here in Colorado for you and your family.

Located in the MAIN SKI RESORT TOWN of Winter Park-not Fraser which is further away, walking distance to many restaurants. Also right on the Frazer river.-which is a blue ribbon trout stream.- 20 feet away!
Credit cards- MC, Visa, - easy if your request the exact days on the website.

We also have two other one bedroom in the same building that will be remodeled in the summer of 2016 if you have a big group wanting to stay together. One is attached and the other on the first floor that may be accessible for wheelchair.
