Brand new (built in 2016) lake house nestled into a small cove (off of a no wake zone) with a beautiful sandy beach for the kids and private dock!
This house is not your typical lake living. 3 generous sized bedrooms, air conditioning, 2 car garage, deck, and flat beach area are just some of the wonderful amenities that await. After a relaxing day on the lake sink in to the jetted tub in the master-bath or sit on the deck and listen to the Loons!

Bring your boat and enjoy the water sports that Mousam has to offer; such as water skiing, tubing, or fishing. There is a public boat launch.

Living room offers a large sectional couch with a 75" flat screen TV.

This house has it all and will surely be a place to make lasting family memories in any of the 4 seasons. Enjoy the view from the multi tiered deck. No matter the season this home has it all!

Amazing home!

Bruce was excellent and we couldn’t have asked for a better home to stay in. It was spotless and in a great location. Not to mention the beautiful view!

Great house and wonderful hosts!

My boyfriend, our 4 boys 11-15 and our dog Macy stayed here on a winter ice fishing trip and it was perfect! The living room/kitchen is a great gathering space and we loved having the couch/TV in the master to get away from the chaos of the boys. We fished on both Mousam and Square Pond. It’s a great area and we had a blast. Bruce and Heather were super responsive and great hosts. This house is perfect for a quiet family get away. Highly recommend it to anyone!

Summer vacation

We were looking for a rental on the water that could accommodate our large group of 12. This house was a perfect spot. The house was great had plenty of room and the lake was fantastic. The owner was super responsive and attentive to our questions and requests. The lay out is great for a large family with 2 dogs. Driveway was big enough for the kids to ride there bike and we enjoyed talking with the very friendly neighbors. Loved this place!!!

Mousam Lake getaway

Bruce was quick to answer any and all questions and allowed us to check in early which was amazing! Great dock, caught many sunfish with the net and a 24 inch lake trout out on the water. The house had all the amenities we were looking for, but was running low on various consumables (paper towels, hand soap, dishwash detergent).

Maine Getaway

Bruce was fabulous to work with -- the house was clean and up to date with amenities I haven't seen at other places. We came with little kiddos that loved the downstairs space and checking out the fish from the dock!

Enjoyable week.

Our family enjoyed our week in Shapeigh, ME. We were surprised to a long staircase from the house down to the lake. I suggest photos to make renters aware of the 75+ steps would eliminate any surprise or disappointment upon arrival. We were all able to manage the stairs but they could be an issue for some. Bruce was very attentive to our needs are requests. The house is perfect for a family get-away. I hope the basement level will be available in future to expand the sleeping availability.

Family Healing

I lost my sister in March and my husband in May during the height of the pandemic and had to go through the stress of closing my business down during the nightmare of COVID hell! My Nephew and brother in law and I came to Maine to join up with my niece and her husband and kids for a much needed vacation and healing time. This home was the perfect setting for us all. It was homey and set in the perfect area of Shapleigh. We ice fished during the day and cooked as a family at night and enjoyed our time together. This house had plenty of room for the seven of us! Beautiful kitchen and family room that comfortably accommodated us all! The beds were all very comfortable. There is a great place named Willies with great food and spirits close by. Due to weather we had our flights cancelled and were delayed a couple days. Bruce was so gracious and accommodating with us. He was very quick to respond and helpful! Definitely will be back to this property! Thank you Bruce!

Change of scenery

This is a beautiful home. Our family has been staying in due to the covid pandemic and we decided we all needed a change of scenery! This house is nestled up a hill overlooking the lake. We all enjoy football and the 72 inch TV in the family room was great for watching the playoffs! I would recommend renting this home.

My pretend house for 10 days

This house is wonderful! So clean and up to date! The kitchen is fun to cook in with new appliances and great kitchen bar. View was lovely looking over the lake, even in winter. Plenty of rooms to stay in and the master bathroom is one that you dream about. We stayed, visited with friends and family and worked from the house. Wi-Fi was strong. The power went out during our stay and Bruce was very responsive and said he would walk us through how to hook up the generator if we needed it. I certainly recommend this house and owners!

Perfect property for a relaxing weekend away!

My husband and I had such a wonderful weekend staying in this beautiful house! The booking process was extremely easy, owners were always so quick to respond and we’re very helpful as well. They touched base upon arrival to ensure everything was okay with the house. House was extremely clean, perfect space for a group of people or large family getaway. The house sits up on a hill that overlooks a lake, gorgeous views. Our pup had a blast running down the hill and hanging in the water all weekend as well. Highly recommend!

Perfect spot for a quiet getaway

This home is absolutely FABULOUS. The amenities on the inside are wonderful, with an incredibly spacious kitchen and seating area for eating. The deck is comfortable and spacious, with an AMAZING view of the lake from the top of a hill. Whether you are going with family, friends, or just a couple, this house has everything you could possibly want in a quiet lake house getaway in Maine. Grocery stores are close by, and everything is easily accessible. I cannot recommend this property enough to someone looking to rent a place for a weekend, or a month! Looking forward to getting back there next year for our annual October trip!
