This unique and luxurious property is located in Bankers Hill, one of the best residential neighborhoods in San Diego, right in between the Bay and Balboa Park, so relaxing and peaceful yet close to literally everything SD has to offer. The studio is attached to a magical beautiful Victorian House, designated by the City of San Diego as an historical site. It's completely independent and has its own entrance. All areas including the outdoor amenities and tub are for your exclusive use, no oner else has access to them.

Within minutes to San Diegoā€™s Finest restaurants, bars, shops, Balboa Park, Museums, Theaters, Balboa Golf Course and many other attractions. Beautiful Little Italy is only blocks down the street. Should you choose to stay in, for a relaxing night of grilling or cooking at home you will find within a few minutes Whole Foods, Vons, Ralph's Trader Joe's, The charming Little Italy farmers market on Saturdays and more; Within a five minute drive you will be in The Convention Center, the famous and beautiful SD Zoo, Downtown San Diego and the exiting Gas Lamp District, the Airport, Seaport Village, Petco Park (home of Padres baseball team), Embarcadero, Fashion Valley mall, North Park, Qualcomm Stadium, historic Old Town, the Marina, and many of the best restaurants, nightclubs, bars and sites in beautiful San Diego, American Finest City. Such a great locationā€”close to everything! It was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. We loved the hot tub and the bikes, and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. The only thing I missed was a full-length mirror (lol), but overall it was wonderful. Iā€™d definitely stay here again next time Iā€™m in San Diego!

This was the second time either my family or I stayed at this gem in Hillcrest. As always, it was incredibly clean, peaceful, and the perfect location to visit the zoo, beaches, and fabulous restaurants. Will definitely be back the next time Iā€™m in San Diego!

This was a nice little oasis for a getaway with my partner and pup! Check in and check out were so smooth and easy, it allowed us to enjoy the property and local area. Ricardo was a gracious host and was very responsive and helpful. Will definitely go back and look for more of his properties!

Wonderful place to stay!

I could not have asked for a better place to stay in San Diego. Location is perfect - close to everything, but quiet, and safe. The apartment is very clean, very comfortable, with many thoughtful touches. Ricardo was responsive and helpful with questions. I would not hesitate to stay in the Zen Villa again.

Great Stay at Private Zen Oasis Conveniently Located in Hillcrest Residential Neighborhood

Perfect private spot for 1-2 people with private outdoor area. Amenities were great, especially enjoyed cooking on the grill and doing laundry from the beautiful outdoor garden area. Space was extremely clean and supplied with all the necessities for cooking. It was easy to walk to visit my daughter who lives nearby in the busier part of Hillcrest, and is conveniently located near coffee shops, grocery stores and the northwest corner of Balboa Park. It was a pleasure working with Ricardo to coordinate the booking, especially when I had a last minute change of dates which he was able to accommodate. I will definitely book this Hillcrest studio whenever I return to visit my daughter in San Diego!

Perfect little getaway

Hubby and I did a little vacation for our anniversary with our 3 big dogs and it was perfect! We took the dogs walking to balboa Park, and around the cute neighborhood. The bed is SO comfortable, heaven! Walking distance to a lot of cute restaurants, bars, coffee shops or a quick scooter ride to little Italy and downtown.

Perfect little home

I didn't need a whole house, just me and my dog. We enjoyed the studio and yard tremendously, the location and quietude was just as advertised. Everything I needed and more. Thoughtful hosts, super private and even the neighboring guests were beyond respectful. I will definitely stay here again!!

Amazing Property

Just as advertised. The communication with Ricardo was impeccable. And the yard was amazing for our small dog. It was secure and we felt comfortable just letting him out the door. The double gate was also a huge security plus for me. The home was amazing clean and quiet. Also the AC was perfect! Cannot wait to visit again.

Great getaway!

As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe here. The hot tub was clean, and the studio was spotless inside. The fenced in yard was private and perfect for my dog. Everywhere I wanted to go was just a short drive away. Ricardo gave several suggestions on where to eat and what to see, and was very responsive when there was a maintenance issue, having it fixed asap. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here!

Outstanding in all respects

Ricardo was thorough and rapid in his communication, guest parking questions answered immediately, check in process was as smooth as it could possibly be. Love love LOVE this little oasis in Hillcrest! Decor, amenities, everything was there, AC worked beautifully, and love the little patio and hot tub right outside our room. If I had to provide one suggestion, a small, narrow cabinet for folded clothes might improve the already perfect stay. We had family visit multiple times over the week and everyone loved sitting out on the patio and in the room. Will absolutely stay here every time we come down to SD to visit fam.
