This spacious home offers nearly 3,000 square feet across the main level and walk-out basement, giving families and groups plenty of room to relax and settle in. The main level features a semi-open layout with a comfortable living room, fireplace, and Smart TV, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring. The fully stocked kitchen flows easily into the dining area, making shared meals and everyday cooking simple and convenient.

The primary bedroom is located on the main level and includes a king bed and a private en suite bathroom with a double vanity, soaking tub, and walk-in shower. Also on the main level is a dedicated office space, now furnished with a queen bed, offering flexible sleeping arrangements while still serving well for guests who need a quiet place to work during their stay.

The walk-out basement adds a second living area with another fireplace and Smart TV, along with a twin-size sleeper sofa that provides additional sleeping space. This level also features a foosball table for easy entertainment and direct access to the backyard. Three additional bedrooms are located downstairs, including one with a king bed, one with a queen bed, and one with a full bed. A full bathroom serves the basement bedrooms as well as a laundry room, making the lower level comfortable and functional for extended stays.

We arrived and the house was not clean at all. We contacted the property manager and they got a cleaning crew over. The cleaning crew did a rush job and didnā€™t clean the Master Bathroom or downstairs bathroom. The sinks and showers were disgusting. The property manager offered to send a crew back but we ended up getting cleaning supplies and doing it ourselves. They were nice and refunded the cleaning fee.The owner scheduled major landscaping during our stay and we were not notified. We booked this property so we could take our dogs, we had to work around them and it was inconvenient. My car was blocked in the garage because the landscapers put a huge pile of mulch in the driveway. The communication was awful! The property manager did give us a very, very small refund (60) for the inconvenience.Overall, the house was spacious and worked for our family but the furniture was old and very uncomfortable (beds and couches). The couches in the upper living should be replaced. The house felt dirty but it could have been from the rush cleaning job. Not sure weā€™d ever stay here again.

Great Stay

Everything was as described. We had no issues during our week stay. We utilized all the rooms and were very comfortable. We used the grill one night without issues. We didn't get a chance to use the firepit. We definitely recommend this house for your stay. Quiet area too. Host is great to work with!

Great stay with our pups!

We enjoyed our stay in this great Monument property while house hunting. We loved relaxing by the fireplace on the very cold nights. Our dugs loved the backyard and the location was great! We even saw mule deer walking across the street several times.

Pet friendly

Pretty much perfection. My only complaint would be the listing. It says pet friendly. However, after you book it tells you there's a two pet max and a 75 pet charge for each pet. I wish they would've disclosed this before the booking as I have three pets. I would have looked at somewhere else. Booking agent was accommodating.

Wonderful property, but two suggestions. The TV service is incredibly confusing. Subscribe to a "standard" array of cable or streaming channels and provide clear instructions for access in the info packet. Propane grill needs MAJOR cleaning or, better, replacement. Almost impossible to cook without grease fires. Tried to burn off before use. Better but not sufficient.

Family Colorado Vacation

This house was perfect for our family if 5 and my parents. They had the room on the main level and we all had a room in the lower level. Lots of room to spread out but could also spend evenings playing games and watching the Olympics in the family room. Easy drive within 30 minutes of Colorado Springs. House was clean and owner was quick to respond with questions. Will stay here again if we visit Colorado again.

Great Family Vacay!

We very much enjoyed our 5 night stay at the property for our first time in the Co. Sprgs. Area. The property is perfectly located and has beautiful scenery itself. Itā€™s probably the cleanest VRBO weā€™ve ever stayed at! Near grocery store and many other needed conveniences! Not so far out from Garden of the gods, Pikes Peak, etc. there was an issue with internet/tv, but we were able to access our personal Direct account in main living room only. Tried and tried with property info access, but never worked. We were able to watch tv after long days out in main room. Super spacious home! Basement rooms and area are great! Able to wash clothes also! Fully stocked with extras too! Thank you! Would definitely stay here again! Loved our stay!!

Peaceful, clean and comfortable

This is our second time staying here. We love to hike in the surrounding area. The neighborhood is quiet and the house is adequately stocked. We cooked a few meals in and have done a load or two of laundry with supplied detergent. Plenty of space to enjoy inside and outside. The yard is fenced. There is a wire fence attached to the wooden fence so your small dog wonā€™t get out. We also spent a fair amount of time in Colorado Springs. Itā€™s about half an hour away with lots to do. Yes weā€™d stay here again.

Bring a shovel, watch where you sit, enjoy the view

Arrived 3 days after a large snow storm (14") - no path had been shoveled from the driveway to the front door. Had to trudge through snow nearly up to my kneecaps to get to the door, then hunt for a shovel, and then shovel a path so I could bring belongings in. Arriving alone, and a person with a back injury, I advised manager they would be responsible if medical treatment was necessary - response was reprehensible. Chair at heat of table was wobbly and unsafe. Advised management company. Urn on back upper deck full of cigarette butts (not ours - we don't smoke). Lower back door unlocks buts does not open. Aside from that, the property is spacious, tastefully decorated, and absolutely gorgeous, and the neighborhood is quiet and safe. If you're looking for a place where family can spread out and have a bit of privacy, this is a great location.

Great Weekend House

Our family stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate my granddaughter's 6th birthday. I was very happy with the cleanliness of the house. The living room was bright and open, with vaulted ceilings and we loved using the fireplace. My only negative was the size of the kitchen. It was a tight fit when more than two adults were using the space. The location of this home is on a corner lot with a cemetery behind. This did not bother me at all as it was so peaceful and quiet. We would stay here again.

St. Patrick's Day Visit

The property was awesome. Despite Monument receiving the highest snowfall day in 26 years, the property had the driveway cleared, the steps shoveled off and everything was great inside. The fireplace was very welcome, the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog, everyone slept well! Thanks.

Labor Day Weekend 2023

This house is awesome. Loved seeing the deer traverse the property in the morning, the Goldfinches in the evening, and the sunsets over Mt Herman. We made a few meals there and were never in need of any supplies. The first impression of the foosball table was just going to be in the way - now we're in the market for one of our own!

Enjoy and Relaxing

Very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. We saw a bear, coyote, deer and an elk who camped out in the backyard the whole day. Went on a lot of easy hikes in beautiful surrounding areas. The house is well stocked. They have laundry detergent, body wash, shampoo and conditioner just to name a few things. They have nice areas to relax outdoors. Also portable fans in the bedrooms if you're like my family and use it to fall asleep to the sound. The management responds quickly to questions or issues. My family is already wanting to go back. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Long Weekend for Family Wedding

This house was perfect for our group of 7 and our dog! We had a family wedding that was 15 minutes away on a ranch, and we were able to take advantage of the close the proximity to both Colorado Springs and Denver during our 5 day stay. The property manager checked in on us via email and responded quickly to our questions. Overall we had a great stay and would stay here again if we come back to the area!

This property fit us and our daughter's family perfectly. We also had a dog with us and so the back yard was a plus. We found the kitchen to be stocked more than many places we have stayed and so it made it easy to have many of our meals (which we had brought along) on the premises. I would like to tell whoever is managing this property that some things could have been cleaner, like the hard floors below furniture, which I discovered when looking for our dog's toys. We had the bedroom on the main level and the master bath rugs may have been washed, but they did not appear so. None of this deterred from us enjoying our visit, however. Overall, we'd stay here again!

Our family came to Monument for a wedding and we found this home to be cozy and clean in a perfect location to Monument and Colorado Springs. Very nice house

Really enjoyed our stay the house was nicer than pictured. Great location close to Colorado Springs and Denver. Loved the back yard and really enjoyed the fireplace. Beds are comfortable and the house has everything you need. We saw deer and a few rabbits. I will definitely stay again.
