Great for day time gatherings of families and friends with approval.

Vaulted ceilings, large windows, open floor plan. Bay window in dining room, cozy gas fireplace in family room, kitchen nook with bay window, kitchen open to family room. Spacious Master bedroom with 5 piece bath, private office/den, finished basement with 3/4 bath, bedroom and media room.
Great back patio with gas grill and outdoor furniture for family gatherings. Fenced back yard for pets.
Near the Santa Fe Trail for cycling and walking/running.
15 minutes away from Mount Herman hiking and mountain biking trails.
Easy access to Air Force Academy, I-25, Ford Amphitheater, Denver and Colorado Springs. Many restaurants and shops nearby.

Great alternative location for remote workers at reasonable rates in the Winter. Monthly rates negotiable upon request.

The host (Bill) was very welcoming and communicated very well from the moment we booked. The house was fully stocked with cooking supplies so we were able to make a wonderful Christmas dinner. The house was beautiful and the Christmas decorations were amazing! So festive and cozy!

We have stayed at this wonderful property before and were thrilled to be able to stay again. This time was for a wedding. The hosts are wonderful and the property is perfect for us. Plenty of space if staying with multiple family members/friends. Hope to be staying again in the near future.

The home was a perfect fit for our family — an ideal location with easy access to all our events. The backyard was the perfect spot to unwind after long days, enjoy the beautiful fall weather, and simply relax.

Very nice location and perfect to do a little light entertaining with family and friends. Any issues, and there was only one teensy one, were handled quickly. Well stocked kitchen with everything you could need; even dog bowls and a few toys.We had some trouble opening the front door… could be operators error! But the garage code was the same, all was good.Fridge in the garage was an unexpected godsend when we had to supply cold soda for a large picnic. Plenty of off-street parking in the driveway plus the garage, although our rental car was too long to get in with the WONDERFUL refrigerator mentioned previously.Nice backyard for evenings outside!

We have stayed at Patty and Bill's Monument house multiple times and always enjoy stay. Very nice home and secure backyard for our 2 Golden Retrievers. Neighborhood is a typical safe suburb area, nice walking trails in the area. We'll always stay at Patty and Bill's house when we're in the area.

The house was perfect for our large group of 7! Enough space for everyone. Loved the large kitchen and island and tv room to hang out. It was very clean and the neighborhood was the perfect location for us. Bill was very helpful and nice with the check in. We would definatly stay here again! Thank you!

This home was spacious, immaculate, and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The hosts were incredibly accessible, friendly, and even recommended some fantastic local restaurants. It’s a perfect place for a large family — there’s plenty of room to enjoy time together, but also enough space for everyone to have their own privacy. The layout is great for entertaining, and everything was clean and comfortable. We truly felt at home and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended! loooved we will be back!!!

Well stocked family gathering place

There were 10 of us staying 5 nights for USAFA graduation. We were 10 minutes from base. Bill and Patty’s home was spectacular! It was very well stocked - tons of extra linens, sheets, towels, pillows, and blankets. The kitchen had plenty of cookware and dishes along with lots of kitchen staples: condiments in the fridge, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, soy sauce, foil, Saran Wrap, Ziplock bags, even some canned goods. The house had multiple hang-out spaces and never felt crowded. Bill and Patty were so nice, letting us borrow a scale to weigh some luggage before our flight home. They were also very kind to accommodate our group by moving the twin bed into the office so we could use that as a bedroom. And because the house was ready, they graciously offered to let us check in early. The house felt homey and Patty and Bill felt like friends.

Family in town for Graduation

Perfect spot for family overflow for graduation. We wanted family together and not in separate hotel rooms. This gave another space for family around the country to come and spend relaxing time together. Property exactly as listed. Owners great at communication. All things we could need were there. Groceries and restaurants within a 5 minute drive or walk. Neighborhood across from Santa Fe trail which was great for the daily walkers in our family. Would definitely use this property again.

December wedding.

Host was very accommodating and right next door. We were a family coming from east coast and west coast. North and south. We were in and out for wedding events. Convenient to venue and local shopping. I would definitely recommend this beautiful home. We had a wonderful time. Home was clean.

Wedding Gathering

Grandparents and close relatives gathered for a Denver wedding. Since the mother of the groom lived in Monument, this was a perfect location and it worked out very well. This is a well stocked home and it had everything we needed. It is also a great location to visit attractions in the Colorado Springs area so we took advantage of that as well. Many thanks to Bill who communicated with us and made sure we had everything we needed.

annual Thanksgiving getaway

this was our second year staying at the house for Thanksgiving. the house is perfect in every way. plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. fully stocked kitchen. the house is well decorated and very comfortable.

Amazing place to stay

We chose this place for location and comfort. We were in town to visit our son's family. My wife and 2 teenaged kids stayed quite comfortably and hosted our son's family for a lunch and dinner. Our 16yr old gamer enjoyed the fast wifi and taking the basement bedroom with its own family room and bathroom. Our 14yr old enjoyed sleeping in the room next to us as she is a bit scared in unfamiliar places. Pros: Large dining room table is great for family meals and boards games. Kitchen with a big island is great for entertaining. Light switch controlled fireplace was relaxing. Garage parking, washer and dryer, and excellent decor. My wife will never admit to snapping a pic of their decorations. Cons: stairs are on the steeper side and there are a quite a few. I would be cautious with toddlers in this space, luckily our granddaughter is not yet walking. Finally, there are a couple of chores to keep up with. Garbage and dishes. Which may not suit everyone.Monday is garbage day, I enjoyed engaging 2 neighbors walking past.We found this house to be absolutely amazing and an excellent value. We highly recommend!

USAFA BANQUET

Thank you for a great weekend! We stayed with another USAFA family. 6 adults, very roomy, Bill was very responsive for a couple of issues we had. (Nothing major). They live next door so I didn’t feel like I was bothering him The beds were not the most comfortable but we were only there for two nights. I would definitely recommend this house especially for its location and. Quiet neighborhood

Our home is conveniently located between Colorado Springs and Denver with easy access to the interstate and to front range mountain roads. Monument is a small town but has much of what larger cities offer... restaurants, big box stores, and local flavor.
