We are sorry to hear about your experience at check in. We try our best to have all the rooms ready before or by 3pm. With our extra cleaning precautions during Covid, it does take us a little longer to get the rooms clean. In addition, we want to ensure that the floors and disinfectant is dry before allowing you to enter your room. We do have two ice machines, one on the first floor and one on the third floor. We do apologize that you had to keep coming down to the first floor for ice. We hope that you choose to stay with us again so that we may exceed your expectations like I know we can.

We thank you for visiting with us and taking the time to leave us a review. I see you were disappointed with your stay and I'm sorry to hear that and I would have loved the opportunity to try and resolve your concerns before leaving. On Tuesday Sept 28th when you reported your concerns to the office it was after hours and we had no maintenance staff onsite to tend to your concerns immediately. I was notified and I did return to the hotel to treat for ants and speak with you but nobody was here to speak with. I waited until 9:30 pm to talk with you after my front desk agent had relayed your argument with him that you were not going to move to another room and my treating the room for ants were not options you would accept and that you were already out getting another hotel and had demanded a full refund or we were getting a bad review. I hope you understand we represent the unit owner and have to consider both parties when it comes to refunds. We would never take lightly the money you have invested in your vacation as well as the owners money earned from there investment so we focus on resolving any customer concerns allowing us to maintain our customers satisfaction and refraining from refunds in exchange of bad reviews. I want to make you aware that I did inspect your room finding the trail of ants from the front door to the food crumbs directly under the futon with another trail of ants from the opposite side of the door back to the food crumbs just under the vanity cabinet outside the bathroom but no others on the walls or anywhere else in your unit. We do use Orkin Pest Control for all our pest prevention needs and are under a unique contract which offers a guarantee to be free of bug infestations including bed bugs! Being this is your family business I'm sure you understand how unique this is. I hope this gave some clarity to your misunderstanding as we try our best to leave all our guest with the most satisfaction we can and doing whatever we can to improve a frustrating situation. Again I am sorry you chose to leave rather than resolve your concern but I am always open to consideration if you decide to visit with us again.
