Truly, there is only one cozy hideaway like this in Safety Harbor!

Romantic one bedroom cottage overlooking beautiful Tampa Bay. When you first enter Bay Vista cottage the view is a jaw dropper! You will love it. High waterfront location offers wonderful panoramic water views from your screened-in porch and living room. The cottage has a cozy kitchen adjoining an open dining room. The bedroom has a romantic fourposter bed. The living room is coastal decor with that fantastic view showcased throughout large windows. Your cottage is fully stocked with many extra amenities, including free WiFi, flat screen TVs with Amazon FireStick streaming installed, Amazon Alexa speaker, and Keurig coffee maker with K-pods included. Just walk in and start relaxing! There is a full size washer and dryer at your disposal. Please note, the bathroom has a tub/shower combo and there are several steps to enter the cottage. There is a private driveway (under tree shade) and some side parking available, fitting 2-4 cars.

This inviting retreat is perfect for couples. Private, quiet and very relaxing. Safety Harbor has much to offer. Downtown has an interesting mix of restaurants, bars and an unusual eclectic mix of shops and boutiques. The waterfront park has a mangrove boardwalk, yacht basin and pier. Early morning walks here are wonderful. Your cottage is a scenic 10 minute walk to town. Nearby you will also discover Philippe Park, another delightful walking venue and encounter the Pinellas County bike trail.

Centrally located with easy access to neighboring Dunedin, Tarpon Springs, Clearwater, and Tampa. Miles of Gulf beaches are about a 20-30 minute ride away. Orlando theme parks are 90 minutes drive from your cottage. Closer, you will find Busch Gardens theme park in Tampa, around 45 minutes away. Your home is also a 20 minute ride from Tampa International Airport. Discover this peaceful retreat for yourselves.

We just spent a week in this charming cottage. Everything we could ever want or need was provided in a warm and cozy environment. We were able to walk to Philippe Park to view lush tropical vegetation and many varieties of birds. We couldn’t wish for a more relaxing enjoyable spot.

Cozy cottage

This was our second stay this year and third overall! We love this place for the spectacular view of the bay and proximity to downtown Safety Harbor. Bob and Vivian are excellent hosts and make sure that you have everything you need!

If I could give this place more stars I absolutely would! From the location to the beautiful cottage to the hosts, our stay here was nothing short of an amazing experience. Bob and Vivian were terrific hosts and made our stay all the more enjoyable. Definitely recommending this place to everyone I know!

Best View of the Bay!

This was our second stay and we wish we could have stayed longer. The cottage is cozy and has everything you could possibly need. The screened porch is excellent for unwinding and taking in the beautiful view of Old Tampa Bay. The hosts are friendly and quick to answer any questions. 10/10 would stay again!

Sweet spot in Safety Harbor

Thanks for your kind hospitality and Christmas spirit to start the new year. What a gem you have to enjoy the treasures of Safety Harbor (foodie heaven and great parks on the bay), Pinellas county and surrounding areas. We had a fun and cozy time - appreciated all the extra touches and goodies.

Coffee on the porch overlooking Tampa Bay is the way to start the day!

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left (did not want to) it was total relaxation. Our hosts were very gracious, accommodating and treated us like family. They provided recommendations on dining and sightseeing. The VRBO was also impeccable. Great experience! Cannot wait to return to this little slice of heaven.

Bayside Gem

Wonderfully appointed bungalow with great views. 15 minute walk to town with restaurants and shops. Hosts live next door and were great. Even gave us a battery jump (twice) for our rental car. Highly recommended.

Relaxing and cozy retreat!

Thoroughly enjoyed this cottage. Exactly as advertised! Super clean and well equipped with everything you would need. Hosts were gracious and very pleasant. Very quiet and peaceful with beautiful views. We will be returning! It’s a little slice of heaven!

Delightful

This is a very cute cottage. The screened porch is an added bonus. The view of Tampa Bay is beautiful. Safety Harbor has a lot to offer in the way of restaurants, parks and access to Tampa/St. Pete. The hosts are very friendly and have added several amenities to make any stay here extra special.

Absolutely perfect in every way- host/hostess, home, views, town, extras, etc. The hots/hostess go out of their way to make you feel at home and enjoy your stay. Only negative was that we had to leave 😉. Definitely be back! Thanks R & V ☺️

Wonderful Relaxing Stay !!!!!

From the moment we arrived at the property we were wowed by the gorgeous setting of the cottage as well as the tremendous view of the Bay. The (all most 100 year old) cottage was perfect for us and beautifully decorated with all the comforts of home. The screened in porch offered a wonderful view of the daily sunrise emerging over the Bay. The town of Safety Harbor was a real treat with all the restaurants, shops, bicycle paths and beautiful parks. Our hosts Bob and Vivian were excellent!! They are very attentive and went overboard to make sure our stay was memorable !! We certainly want to return next year for another relaxing stay.

A Slice of Heaven on the Bay

The pictures don’t do it justice…a cute cottage across from the bay with incredible views. The living room is large and the couches are incredibly comfortable. Includes a screened in deck to enjoy the weather and view. Large picture windows with comfortable chairs are available in the living room to watch the glorious sunrises. if you need anything at all, Vivian and Bob are next door and your wishes will be granted. Wish we were neighbors back home.

Love the Peach Bungalow

Our second visit and another wonderful stay. The house is so very comfortable with everything provided that you may need including a well stocked kitchen with goodies and a lovely bottle of wine. The location just couldn’t be better with a front seat bay view of beautiful sunrises and sunsets. An excellent neighborhood for walking and a short stride into that great little downtown with nice shops and really good restaurants. Don’t miss the Sunday Farmer’s Market! Last but certainly not least, Robert and Vivian are superb hosts, always available for any questions or concerns. We loved meeting them! Enjoy this very special “home away from home”!

Stunning

It was the best vrbo I ever stayed in so far. Cottage was super clean and beautifully decorated. The neighborhood is very safe. Safety harbor is a beautiful town lots of shops and restaurants. I could have just stayed there and lived there. We stayed for 11 days I could have stayed for 11 months. Vivian and Bob are the best hosts ever. Anything you needed they were right there. I will definitely be back again. Thank you Bob and Vivian you added a little touch of class to her vacation. ❤️🌹❤️🌹

Splendid!

We spent two marvelous weeks on a staycation here while repairs were made to our home. We won’t wait for another flood to come back – this one is on the list! The cottage is exactly as pictured, eclectically curated with just the right amount of kitch to remind you its 100 years old. The pantry is plentiful and the hosts are warm and welcoming. The location is perfect, just a 15-minute walk to the busy Main Street shops and restaurants. However, once you step onto the front porch its easy to forget where you are as you take in the lush surroundings, peaceful view across the bay with great sunrises each morning.

Gracious hosts

First of all, we want to thank our hosts for being very accomodating and gracious. The cottage was everything we wanted and more. We were greeted by Vivian and entered into the most relaxing and immaculate cottage filled with music ,candle scent and prefilled refrigerator with snacks to make us feel right at home. We were recently displaced from the hurricanes and under a tremendous amount of stress. But as soon as we were greeted early for our stay she made us feel welcome and at ease. The views of the bay were gorgeous and the morning sunrise coming through the front windows are breathtaking. Their cottage was filled with everything we could ever need. They were also very accomodating when our length of stay was up in the air due to our next rental being not available. We can not say enough about how much they helped us out and would not hesitate to return. were gr

Perfect home and location!

We had a fantastic stay at this cottage!! My wife and I are originally from the area and were down visiting friends and family for Christmas. The location is phenomenal and so convenient for us being that we have people to connect with all over Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. We loved walking our dog along the bayside into downtown Safety Harbor to enjoy the restaurants and shops, and waking up every morning to the sunrise over the bay was an awesome way to start our morning. The hosts were extremely accommodating, they even had the place decorated for Christmas when we arrived. It was a five star experience from top to bottom, we will definitely be staying here again when we make our annual trips to the Tampa Bay Area!!

Cozy cottage with spectacular view

This was our first VRBO, so we were a little nervous. We could not have been happier with the place or with our hosts, Bob and Vivian. They thought of everything to make this place a home away from home. We enjoyed our daily walks to Main St and the screened porch with the lovely view of the bay. I got some awesome pictures of a thunderstorm that rolled over the bay. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place

Front row view to water and all the wildlife living in and around the bay. Out of the pages of a magazine decor and surroundings yet comfortable enough to call home for our 3 week visit. Hospitality was above and beyond from owners.

PERFECT PLACE ON THE BAY

Vivian and Robert were the greatest hosts I’ve EVER had. I’ve stayed in many VRBO / Air B and B and they were absolutely amazing. Their cottage is clean, cozy, cool, and full of character. The view is spectacular and they ensure you have everything you would ever need! I have told so many others about their place already. Not one complaint. Beautiful lanai. Perfect location. Worth every cent. Thank you Robert and Vivian for everything! Best VRBO experience EVER. 5 stars!!!!!

Great location

We loved the nearly 100 year old property with a great view of the bay. It was cozy and in a great location. We could easily walk to Safety Harbor or to the nearby park. We enjoyed sitting in the screened porch looking at the view.
