The house was clean and secluded. Went to visit my uncle for most of our stay but would have had no problem staying at the house the whole time

Wonderful winter getaway

My friend and I were excited to get away during the New years week. We got everything from warm mid 40s to 6 inches of snow and low 20s. We were looking for a cozy cabin with a fireplace/stove and some outdoors for our dog. This was exactly what we wanted. I was able to do some excellent trout fishing nearby and some great hikes on DEC trails in State Forests, which were right up the road. The kitchen worked great and the cabin has a cozy feel with an open concept. The owner, Angelo was super helpful and responsive with anything we needed. I would highly recommend this place and I'm definitely going again!! Wonderful place

My stay

The property was beautiful and had many comforts of home. The house was a bit dusty and most surfaces weren’t clean. Also other peoples hygiene items were in the bathroom which seemed odd but we pressed on. We also were surprised to learn that we were responsible for garbage removal and thought it was included in the overall price but again we pressed on. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Angelo’s house. Thank you

Im glad you enjoyed your stay, but i think you must be confused with the other house you rented at the same time. We left the house spotless and professionally cleaned we always do for our clients/renters stay. Every surface gets throughly cleaned and saniized. After your stay we found the upstairs bed filled with little sticky candies that your many extra guests must have left, which took extra time to clean it all up in that one bedroom alone. your rental contract said 4 people, 2 adults 2 children , but yet every bed was used. Your guests used the bed covers as shawls that were stored in chests in the other rooms. Under the lounge chair in living room we found what must have been soda or BBq sauce that puddled under the chair. The back screen door was blocked open your entire stay. BBQ propane tank which was full was left open and found empty. We are proud of the 5 star rating we have received from all of our guests. A tetstament to that our our multiple repeat guest that come often. Sorry you felt the way you do.

Wonderful Experience

The house is reached via a long driveway with a lovely pond off to the side. The house is lovely and large and the land outside beautifully landscaped. Wonderful to sit on the porch and take it all in. The inside is all warm wood, high ceilings and sense of spatious comfortability. Large, pleasant bedrooms. Large, well-stocked and user-friendly kitchen. Everything was pleasant and restful. Strenuous hiking path out back. Surrounded by state parks. I swam in a nearby pond, Beals. A pristine lake nobody goes to. Couldn't have been more idyllic for anyone who wants to escape hustle and bustle.

Great property

I booked this property during the winter for the last week of June. Unfortunately there was a heat wave and upon arrival I noted there was no Air Conditioning. The oversight on the AC was mine and not the owner. The owner was very responsive on all my questions about how to generate cross breezes in the house, however the heat outside and inside was just too much for me and my dog after 48 hours and so we went home early. Would be a great spot for cooler weather.

Nice private cabin in the country, just what we wanted! Warm wood stove and open rooms with vaulted ceilings! Saw about 50 turkey walk through the front yard one morning!

Secluded log cabin

Angelo's log cabin is on a wonderful wooded lot . The cabin itself is clean & comfortable , complete with skylights, porches and a open spacious living room. Angelo checked in with us to inquire if we needed anything , a very nice gesture on his part. Overall excellent. Thanks Angelo !

Rented the cabin for my bridal party to get ready on the day of our wedding and for family members to have a place to stay the night of the wedding. Check in was easy. Great location, beautiful scenery.

Paradise away from civilization

Such a lovely house and grounds. Visitors who came didn't want to leave. We had to throw them out. Spacious kitchen, bedrooms, pleasant living and dining room. Beautiful rolling lawns borders by protective woods, with a little frog pond. The picture on the site doesn't do it justice. Angelo is great. Horrible to leave. Although it's in the middle of nowhere, I got to swim in the lovely little pond 10 minutes away. Nobody goes there. Idyllic! We had friends an hour and 15 minutes away in any direction. Central New York never ceases to open up to new vistas of beauty if you drive around.

Fantastic winter getaway

My entire family, including our pup had a cozy, relaxing and fun time during our 3 night stay. We loved the sledding hills and exploring the snow covered grounds. Angelo was extremely helpful and we are looking forward to booking again next winter.

Cabin Getaway

We had a fabulous, quiet vacation in a beautiful, remote cabin that was wonderful! Angelo was great and everything was ready for us. We had snow and my 7 year old daughter loved to sled down the hills on the property. Would love to walk down to the frozen pond. There is a nice fire pit in the backyard and the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, plates and utensils. We cooked many feasts! Thank you for the perfect, quiet vacation spot! We would love to come back!

This cabin is amazing!!!

If you are looking to get away and disconnect from the world this is the place for you!! The cabin is so warm and cozy and welcoming! There are a few small towns around with shops and grocery stores! There are multiple state parks and trails! Angelo was amazing so helpful and kind! We will deff be back!!

So beautiful!

This was everything we wanted for a quick fall getaway. Because of the pandemic we brought and cooked all of our meals and the kitchen was really great for that. The property is really beautiful, especially with all the fall colors, and the fire pit really gave me what I was hoping for in this getaway. Angelo was very communicative and helpful leading up to and during our stay there, and gave us great pointers and directions to a gorgeous nearby state park. We loved it! I would love to bring my family to stay one day.
