Easy Walk to Private Beach! Views, Balconies, Pool, Chef Ready

Professionally designed, remodeled and decorated. Villa Emeraude is seconds away from Dunes of Destin stunning private beach - stroll down quiet sidewalk. Four Beach Chairs/2 Umbrellas included! Chef's kitchen was remodeled with gas range which is hard to find in area beach homes. Range has 5th griddle heating element and warming drawer. Conveniently located close to range-oven is a separate prep sink - so you can't have too many cooks in the kitchen! Wet bar offers dedicated and zoned wine and beer refrigerator and stand alone ice maker. Kitchen features a large Cuisinart countertop oven with steam function. All utensils, pots, pans, instapot dutch oven, pasta pot, sheet trays are stocked for the chef. Other appliances include large slow cooker, quality blender, waffle iron, panini press, air fryer, and food processor. You will enjoy larger private pool on end lot with sweeping views of lake, some of gulf, and skyline from expansive wrap-around balconies. Every bedroom opens to dramatic views from fully tiled and furnished balconies, terraces, or verandas. The balconies overlooking pool and lake from 2nd and 3rd floors are expansive, wrap-around relaxation areas.

Bathrooms just remodeled with designer tile and deep soaker tub. High end vanities and shower sprayers. Photos coming!

Main living-dining space and three bedrooms are super-sized and not the cramped gathering quarters most vacation homes have left over. All bedrooms are en-suite. Two living areas in 3rd floor loft and living room provide entertainment options. There is a separate video gaming space with Atari and X-Box off of garage for kids. Home has highest speed "gigablast" wifi with extenders for each floor and back yard.

Back patio and pool area are landscaped and provide shaded table with benches, seating sectional, various chairs, and TV. Largest Weber grill with searing element is at end of patio. There is also convenient outdoor shower.

TWO sets of beach chairs/umbrella are provided from March to end of October. Full beach service is in effect at Dunes' beach.

Great Place to Stay!

Really just awesome! Karen is attentive to needs and responds quickly. Cant imagine the stay being any better! We had 18 in our group. Plenty of space for everyone. Easy to find and get in and out to attractions. Beach is very close within a minute of walking. Very nice location and just overall a nice property.

Location is perfection

If you need a vacation home for a group/family look no further. This house is the perfect place - has it all. We had our kids and their families - 6 adults and 8 children (2 to 15 years old) and we were extremely comfortable with plenty of space. We enjoyed the very clean pool and the backyard balcony and lower patio with plenty of seating everywhere. The close proximity to the beautiful private beach is what everyone in our group couldn't stop talking about. It was utterly spectacular having our own personal space on the beach and made it so much nicer to keep an eye on the kiddos. We had a group of young men park their chairs behind us one day and the beach attendant asked them to move - it truly is your private, exclusive beach!! The house is so close that a few of us could go back and make lunches or get more drinks and snacks as needed. The kitchen had plenty of glassware, silverware and plates for the entire group and then some. The seating is plentiful and there was a place for everyone to eat dinner at a table. If I had a question, Karen responded within minutes, communication was amazing! This home did not disappoint, in fact it exceeded our expectations, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

A week in paradise

We loved our stay over spring break. The house was great and fit our 3 families very comfortably. We had all the tools we needed in the kitchen to cook each night and there was plenty of tables to sit and eat at. There was a beautiful breeze on the balcony that made dinner even more enjoyable. The location of the house to the beach was great. We were able to let the older kids come and go as they wanted. The chairs and umbrellas provided being setup on the beach was very convenient. We had 6 adults and 7 kids so we ended up paying to have a 3rd set of chairs which was very needed. We also had a few extra personal chairs that we were able to use. The location of the house to target, Publix, and lots of restaurants was great. We even were able to walk to get ice cream. Karen was great to work with, easy to reach, and super helpful. Highly recommend this house.

Perfect Beach Vacation

Karen's house was the perfect spot for our family's vacation in Florida. We needed a large house with plenty of beds for the 15 of us (4 families) and the layout of the bedrooms (and with each having it's own bathroom) was exactly what we needed. The house itself is very nice and the fact that you can be on the beach in less than 2 minutes was fantastic! Karen was very responsive and would even check in periodically to make sure all was good. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Everyone agreed that we found the best house in Destin. Thanks again for everything!

Communication

The house was beautiful and stocked with everything one would need on a vacation. The beach was amazing, the weather couldn’t have been better. We had an amazing time. The only negative feedback I have is for Karen the property owner. She was incredibly responsive, but was quick to become condescending. We paid for the pool to be heated and noticed on day 3 that it just wasn’t warm like it should be and then noticed the pump and heater weren’t on. She sent someone right away, the pool had blown a fuse and so hadn’t been working. Also needed a part. So we didn’t have heat until the last day. So 3/4 days with no heat at 57/day. When asked if I would get money back, she said she would let me know. She didn’t give me money back, when I asked again about this she said she didn’t charge me to have someone come look at it. I asked why would she even consider that as I paid for a heated pool and it wasn’t heated. This is when the communication really went sideways. She kept the majority of my security deposit staying we cracked a sink, but also stated there was a broken solar light and didn’t charge me for that as it could have been cracked by the group before. So how can she say our group broke a sink? Cracked a sink to be exact. Needless to say we had an amazing trip and thought the house was amazing. But I have to say I wouldn’t recommend simply due to how Karen communicated with me prior to the stay and after.

Excellent location and beautiful house

This house was amazing! It had everything we needed. It was very clean and nicely furnished and decorated. We had a group of 15 and there was plenty of room for everyone and then some. The walk to the beach was only a minute or 2. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful

We absolutely loved our stay. The house is beautiful, pristine and full of everything you need to enjoy your stay. The pool was perfect for the days it was too windy at the beach. The included beach chair/umbrella service made it easy to enjoy the beach. Highly recommend this house for your vacation.

Wonderful vacation experience

This property is exceptional. The accommodationsare endless for a family vacation. The location to the beach is within minutes of walking. Good restaurants and shopping are close by. Above all, the owner is amazing at providing all the details for your stay and is available immediately if any need arises. Look no further this is the best!

Villa Emeraude was a fantastic vacation rental! The house was absolutely beautiful, with tasteful decor and all the comforts we needed. The location couldn’t have been better, just a short walk to the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the ocean daily. The private pool was a highlight—it was clean, well-maintained, and a perfect place to relax. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend Villa Emeraude to anyone looking for a beach getaway!

Amazing!

This property was beautiful, in a perfect location, was perfect for our extended family trip! We had plenty of space, comfortable beds, huge kitchen and everything we needed for a wonderful week as a family! Perfect Stay!

After looking for a beach house for days on vrbo, I finally came across Emeraude Dunes of Destin. It is everything it says it is. Great communication with property manager. Very spacious and accommodated all of our needs for a family trip. We even had a full rainy day and the kids were happy playing inside with all the game options, and pool, also enough TVs for everyone to enjoy their own shows. We will definitely book again.

Amazing!

Everything about this stay has been nothing short of AMAZING! The homeowner has gone above and beyond to make her home teen, kid, toddler, infant, and adult friendly. We needed nothing for our stay. We came with our 2 daugters, their husbands and 6 children, ages 6 months to 15 and no one was bored! We also traveled with my son in laws father. We both own restuarantsand are chefs in Iowa and this kitchen was nothing short of perfect. We created so many memories this week! The bedrooms are perfectly located with each family having their own bathroom and private balcony! The views were beautiful. The pool was fantastic and perfectly heated for our littles! The beach was a short walk crossing no streets. Karen provides 4 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas for our daily trips to the beach! The boardwalk was was a 2 mile drive with lots to do! So many great restaurants near by as well. This trip was nothing short of PERFECT and Karens home made it even better! If traveling to Destin with your family I would definitely choose Villia Emeraude every time! It's perfect in every way! We are already looking at possibilities for next year! Thank you Karen, Amy

Amazing Spring Break

We absolutely enjoyed our week at Villa Emeraude, beginning with the excellent communication throughout the whole process to the home itself which was absolutely perfect for our large family of 6 adults and 9 children. Excellent home and location!!

We were a group of 16 between kids and adults!! We spent thanksgiving break at this home and it was wonderful!! The house is walking distance to the beach. The house has everything that you need, the pool was a total success. At the end we had a wonderful time without any issues! Everything is very well explained and we did not have any problems but Karen was very responsive to our questions. Thank you for a great experience!!

We stayed with 8 other family members and two grandchildren. What an incredible home Karen and Ron shared with us! Everything was so well maintained and clean; even the huge gas grill was clean and new. The kitchen, the furniture, the beds and linens, the bathrooms, and the backyard pool, we’re all so clean and in excellent condition. The televisions with easy program access, the ice maker that never ran out of ice, the large kitchen with all the appliances and two large tables, the pack and play baby bed, the baby safety gates for the stairways, the small children’s beds, the children’s game room, and the beach access with four chairs and two umbrellas, all made for a perfect, incredible vacation. Absolutely awesome home and wonderful, accessible hosts! We’ll be back again next year!

Villa Emeraude

Our family of 17 (8 adults and 9 children) had plenty of room in this beautiful house. It is well-equipped and Karen (the owner) has thought of just about everything. The beach was a short walk away (chairs and umbrellas were ready for us). It was perfect for us. Karen is very personable and accommodating. She responds to any questions immediately, usually within minutes. We really can’t rate her high enough.

Incredible Home

House is as advertised! Great size in all the rooms and the kitchen is perfect with plenty of frig and freezer storage. The owner Karen is on top of everything and is just as concerned about your quality of stay as you are. We have stayed at this house for the last 3 years and definitely will be back again!

I have owned and managed my own vacation homes for 23 years. Started with beautiful ski homes in Big Sky, Montana. Many of my guests are repeat and referral and are also long-time friends! I want my home to be a wonderful backdrop for making the kind of memories that I have created with my 7 grandchildren at the beach. We love cooking, grilling, swimming, and enjoying the beach together.

I considered over 100 homes before choosing Villa Emeraude. Then I hired a general contractor to take the home apart and rebuild it. We redecorated and remodeled. I found this home so appealing for my extended family of 15 because of the large and roomy gathering spaces and spacious bedroom-bathroom combinations. And, all the outdoor terraces features offer al fresco dining and coffee or cocktail sipping opportunities everywhere!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

It took me just over one minute to walk to beach gate down the sidewalk with 3 y-o grandson. Villa Emeraude sits on a corner lot that provides more privacy than many homes in beach neighborhoods. Everyone has space to relax and enjoy the views! Dunes is a very special neighborhood with a U-shape gated cul-de-sac of homes that share beach access.
