This 4 bedroom 21/2 bath home sits on the scenic overlay of the Black River. View the Black River from the front porch and enjoy Kayaking, Canoeing, Swimming, Fishing in the summer, Hunting, Hiking, Snowmobiling in the winter. One mile from the snow mobile trail.
Enjoy this 3000 square home togetheir with your pet. 30 minutes from Old Forge, 5 minutes to the town of Boonville. Stay for the Boonville Oneida County Fair or the NYS Woodmens Field days. Rooms were bigger than the pictures give them credit for, view off the front porch looking at the river was beautiful, kitchen had everything we needed and then some, no hassle checkin

Spacious home. Very clean. Beautiful area close to the river. Family members enjoyed daily walks. Close to the church and park where Baptism and 1st birthday party were held. Very happy with this rental.

Amazing place to stay

The houses location was the main reason we choose this place. There’s a huge back and front lawn to allow kids to run around and have fun. Nice porches on the front and back. The dock is across the road so you can enjoy the lake. The house it’s self had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful roomy home

The home is just as it is described in the listing and in the photos. It's roomy, clean and in an excellent location for various snow sports. My friends and I are planning on returning next year!

Perfect for extended family

We stayed in this house for a few days before Christmas to be near family in Boonville. The house is beautiful and spacious and perfect for the 7 of us that stayed there. Since it was winter, we did not get to take advantage of the closeness of the Black River, but I’m sure that it is a wonderful view in the summer and fall.

Would definitely book again

This home was exactly as described in the listing. It was a huge house and accommodated 8 adults perfectly. Came up for snowmobiling and plenty of space to park 3 trucks with trailers. Had everything that you would need to prepare a meal in the beautiful and spacious kitchen area. Would definitely book here again!

Such a beautiful slice of heaven

We had a wonderful time and would love to come back again for a whole week. We caught fish off the dock, enjoyed the yard space and the porch and deck. The house itself is spacious and beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked and easy to cook in. Thanks for sharing your house with us!

Boonville

We loved how big this house was and definitely didn’t need that much room for a family of 4 lol. The kitchen wasn’t stocked with (paper products/garbage bags/storage bags), as other posts had shared, but we made do. Also, the upstairs is very stuffy, even with the air conditioning. The peace and quiet and views were spectacular! The drive to Lake George isn’t terrible either.

Was a great property the only problem is there is zero internet there ! So you dont even have phone service out there . It says there is but doesnt work otherwise the place is great! Nice and clean. Everything else you would need. And private

One of the best rental houses our family has stayed in! Very spacious and well designed indoor space, very clean, and for my legally blind husband - the best lighting we’ve encountered! The kids enjoyed playing on the big lawn and walking along the river (except the flies!). It is a peaceful area outside town but we found great restaurants not too far away and we enjoyed seeing so many more stars at night. The WiFi was the only challenge - too slow for our teens or to load video but the signal itself was good. I don’t know if that’s a fact of life in a rural area or if a new modem would help. Very comfortable beds in every room! We didn’t cook at all, but the kitchen looked to be Well-supplied.

Best property and manager around!

This is the best rental property around Boonville! It is only a few minutes from town! It is clean, big, and easy to get to. Coordinating my trip with the property manager could not have been easier! Highly recommend!

Beautiful home in a quiet and picturesque setting.

This was our 2nd visit to this home in Boonville, NY. The home is very tastefully decorated and has everything we needed to enjoy a weekend away. We went and did the rail bikes out of Theandre, NY and had a blast. We hope to return again next year!!

Property fine; host unkind

The property is secluded in a peaceful area. It is stocked with almost everything one would need to for a weekend or week long stay. However, there are some things to be aware of. * The sliding glass door did not lock (safety concern). * The full bathroom windows did not have curtains/shades (privacy concerns). * The host or his cleaners left disconcerting post-it messages around the house, but no instructions about garbage disposal and recycling. * There was goose droppings on the path to the house. * The outside grill was not clean. * The host emailed me instructing us to strip the four beds and wash the linens before check out at 11AM. *Even though the WiFi password is provided, connection is sketchy- emails to host and back regarding concerns were not readily received. My non-smoking family enjoyed our weekend stay at the property. However, upon my return to my home, I see an email from the host accusing my family for smoking. His cleaners claimed that burn marks on the three toilets were put there by us. In an unprofessional and unkind manner the host accused my family of smoking in his property and proceeded to charge my credit card with an additional $100. My family does not smoke. After a couple of heated emails between me and the host, the host figured out the problem and apologized. When I complained to Vrbo about the situation, the representative said he would look into it, but four weeks later there is no response from Vrbo.

Perfect property

Everything about this property was top notch! Roomy well equipped kitchen had everything we needed for nice family dinners. The host thought of everything. The rooms were large and beds comfy. Close to town and activities but secluded and on a pretty quiet road. We saw deer and turkeys and a cute black cat! The lawn is great for family games and the fire pit was an added bonus! Our family needed this time together and no one in our group wanted to leave!

Great location, semi-secluded, but minutes from stores. Big lawn, dock on the river, lots of wildlife. House is really nice, LG appliances, grill, fire pit, covered front porch, large deck out back.

Snowmobile trip

This was our 2nd trip to this house and there will probably be more. It is spacious, clean and plenty of room for trucks and trailers.
