Newly Built 2 BR/2 BA Quaint cottage in Historic District Pinehurst

Camellia Cottage was designed to look like it had always been part of the estate; with architectural details that mirror it's mother property in accordance with the historical district's guidelines. Decorated in a midcentury French genre, the original art was collected during the owner's travels to complement an eclectic mix of vintage and modern furnishing. Step inside, however, and you experience the ambiance of contemporary features including a cathedral ceiling in the family room, built-in large screen TV and desk/bookshelf units in each bedroom. Every room offers a visual vista of mature foliage and gardens, unhampered by large paneled plantation shutters.
Step outside to enjoy a private veranda adjacent to stone patio equipped for grilling outdoors.
The master bedroom has a king bed and it's en suite bathroom has a tub/shower combination. The guest bedroom has a queen bed and full bathroom with shower.
The open kitchen is well equipped with cookware, pottery, wine and cocktail glasses.
No pets allowed.

Wonderful Stay in Pinehurst!We had an amazing week staying at Buck and Christine’s beautiful cottage in Pinehurst for my son’s World Championship tournament. The house was spotless, very well maintained, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable throughout our 1 week stay. From the moment we arrived, the host was warm and welcoming, personally greeting us and giving a helpful walk through with clear instructions.The location couldn’t have been better, just minutes from golf courses, restaurants, and supermarkets. It made getting around Pinehurst incredibly easy, especially with the busy tournament schedule.We truly appreciated the care and attention Buck and Christine put into making our stay a great one. We highly recommend this home and would absolutely stay again in the future!

Perfect Pinehurst Cottage

This 2 bed, 2 bath cottage is very centrally located for convenient drives to all Sandhills/Pinehurst areas. We came on this trip to check out the area as a possible retirement location. We now love this area and this cottage provided everything we needed. It is not large but feels larger because of the vaulted ceilings in the living areas and there is a great covered veranda and patio area. The cottage is almost new and has the cottage design and decor are perfection. The hosts were excellent and always quickly responded to any inquiries. Due to flight delays, we did not arrive until after 10:00pm. Our host met us at the cottage to show us some of the features and answer any questions. We had an issue with the AC on our third day and the host had the problem addressed that day, and they made sure the timing worked for our schedule as well. They were always so considerate and helpful. I would recommend this cottage to anyone coming to Pinehurst.

Perfect In Every Way

This is our second stay at The Camelia Cottage, an annual Mother/Daughter trip. The home is exactly as described, in a quiet peaceful neighborhood, and close proximity to the Village area and other points of interest. We will return again as this is the BEST of the best in the area. Fantastic hosts!!

Adorable, great location

This adorable place is perfectly stocked with everything you need like ziplocks, napkins, soaps, shampoo, hand lotion, paper plates, travel cups and more. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed like cooking oil, pans, etc. There is a hairdryer with 1875 power and works great. Love the Smart TV, great free WiFi, kettle for our tea and plenty of blankets. There is even a flashlight so you can take the short walk to restaurants. It is super dark at night as it is a dark neighbourhood. Amazing for star gazing. The beds are really firm. At night when you’re sleeping the train comes through town and blows its horn at all different times at night. Sometimes at 1am, 4 or 3 am. It sounds like it’s right in the back yard. The owners do give you a 8 minute orientation when you arrive, this is not optional. We never heard from them or saw them unless we texted them with a question. They responded very quickly. They do live right next door.

A Lovely Cottage in Pinehurst Village

This home was perfect for our Thanksgiving getaway. The location could not have been any better - a short walk to town, Carolina Hotel and the Pinehurst golf clubhouse. The cottage was well appointed and beautifully decorated. The hosts communicated well in advance and checked in during our stay. Highly recommend!

Picture Perfect

Beautifully appointed with whimsical colors, eclectic and comfy furnishings, with every need anticipated. Quiet setting yet short walk to Villlage center full of quaint shops, world renowned golf courses and a variety of restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. A particular favorite was touring the newly opened World Golf Hall of Fame adjacent to the new USGA offices and research labs and Pinehurst No. 2 golf course. Our future Pinehurst visits will include staying at this property. It met all our expectations.

Cozy Camillia Cottage

My husband, sister and I stayed at Camilla Cottage for 3 nights in July. What a great spot! Christine met us and gave us all the pertinent information and checked in via text during our stay. She is a great host! The cottage is lovely...cozy, very clean and is well supplied with everything you need to make your stay wonderful. The location is also very convenient--we loved walking to the village, the Brewery, the Arboretum. There is a cute back porch where, even amidst the summer heat, you can sit with the fan on, have coffee and listen to the birds! We loved our stay and have already booked again! Thank you Christine!

Camilla Cottage is the home away from home! From the moment we arrived, Buck met us at the property and gave us an overview of everything we needed to know. My wife loved the well-stocked kitchen, and high end appliances. The bed was very comfortable. Christine and Buck thought of everything and so much more to make you want to stay forever, we’re looking forward to our next visit. The cottage exceeded all of our expectations. Tranquil and Complete!

For a Mom and daughters annual respite from the rigors of life, this home provided the tranquil setting so needed. Have vacationed here for many years and feel we have found the oasis we needed. The home is beautiful, everything one would need is available, completely accessorized kitchen, baths, living space and the owners are amazing. Greeted upon arrival and given a tour of the home with all it's amenities. We will return without hestitation. This cottage is the BEST of the best.
