Come relax and enjoy the world-famous sugar white beaches of the Emerald Coast in this beautifully decorated condo.  This 1430 sq. foot, 2-bedroom, 2 bath West end condo features a 30-foot private, Gulf-front balcony, high speed wireless internet and free beach service March 1st through the Sunday after Thanksgiving (Monthly reservations do not receive complimentary beach set-ups.) This spacious condo has a newly updated luxurious king size bed in the master bedroom with a custom walk-in shower in the on suite bathroom. The guest bedroom is equipped with two newly updated queen beds. The fully equipped kitchen has been updated to include cabinets, counter tops and stainless steel appliance. This beautiful condo is set up with a full-size washer and dryer, tile throughout common areas, with carpet in both bedrooms. A separate ice maker can be found in the wet bar. 

Condo does not have a landline phone and is non smoking. For monthly reservations (over 28 days) please contact Destin Gulfgate directly.

Enjoyed the beach view. Close proximity to entering exiting the beach. Would have appreciated if there had been at least basic spices for cooking. The TV was difficult to use. The furnishings were not “beachy” . The condo had a dark motif. The carpeting was older and could have used a cleaning. If there was carpeting there should be a vacuum for guests to use. The water in the bathroom took a very long time to get hot. Be sure to clean the dryer vent when drying your clothes. It was very full and could use a thorough cleaning. The front door knob is not very secure. It should be replaced. We did appreciate the ice makerThe beach staff was very accommodating as well as staff. Overall the beach was beautiful.

Definitely worth it

Not far from Walmart which was a big deal for me and we were right across from "The Track" where the kids had a blast. The room was great. The view was amazing and this was my first time staying on a private beach area and I will definitely be back. I'm use to PC beach and this was way beyond what I hoped for. Everyone was great. They have a quiet time which was amazing. We heard the room above us moving furniture around at 11:30pm which was wonderful of course but just keep a heads up that it's possible the surrounding rooms may hear you. Anyway, the rooms came with two beach chairs and an umbrella which was set up by the attendant from 8-9am. The lifeguards are very serious about their jobs especially during a storm so keep that in mind. The codes getting in and out was nice just knowing it was just an area for the guests. Overall it was great. Just please make sure to pick up after yourself there are plenty of trash cans. I saw a seagull eat a plastic wrapper and PLEASE leave the turtles alone. They come up to the dunes to nest.

Thanksgiving week stay at Destin

Also very helpful when needed. The only think I was disappointed in was there were no instructions how to work the different televisions in each room. This was the case in the other 2 rental condos I had. But weather was nice so did not pose much of a problem overall.See you next year!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying at Gulfgate since you first opened and we come often. We are never disappointed. We love that a beach set up is provided and the beach service has always been great. This year though, the service was not as good as in the past. We stayed two weeks and there were several days, that the service set the chairs way back closer to the condo. It almost seemed they were too lazy to move the chairs out to where they should be. There were also a few days it was too windy for umbrellas in the morning. Even though it was fine by afternoon for umbrellas, no one ever came back so we had to go the day without. This is definitely not what we are used to experiencing at Destin Gulfgate.Everything else was great. Your staff is always awesome and it's always evident that you take care of the place which we really appreciate. Thank you!

The décor of the balcony and condo was absolutely amazing. The staff was extremely helpful and informative. The description was definitely in sync with what was communicated on the site. The location was perfect—perfect locale as it relates to restaurants, shopping, liquor stores etc. The property was maintained, the pool was very clean. I would with a doubt recommend this property to my friends and family.
