Enjoy Hawaiian living in this spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2nd floor condo with an ocean view. Large lanai overlooks the eighth fairway of the Kona Country Club. This unit does NOT have air conditioning. Each room has a ceiling fan and there are 4 floor fans. This unit sleeps up to 4 persons comfortably and allows you the tranquility of the Island.

This unit has a fully stocked kitchen, all appliances and beautiful bamboo flooring, beach towels, chairs and cooler are available for guests to take to the beach. Minutes from Kona nightlife, great shopping, excellent restaurants, cinema, grocery store, post office, Farmers Markets and pharmacy.

This condo is located at the south end of Alii Drive in a quiet cul-de-sac where you have a designated parking space that is wheelchair accessible. Whether you are a sports enthusiast or someone who wants to relax and watch beautiful sunsets, this is the condo for you.

Summer Rates:

A gem in South Kona

The condo was just as accurate as listed with small touches to make it a more relaxing stay for our family. Laura has taken great care of the property in a quiet complex with the unit facing the golf course where goats competed with the players!

Great Condo, Great Location, Beautiful Surroundings

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Condo was very comfortably set up, clean and tidy. It had all of the amenities that were advertised and more. The location couldn't have been better; we were just a few minutes away from the airport, Downtown Kona, numerous beautiful snorkeling and beaches. The condos there have a beautiful pool and spa area, was very quiet and our stay was magnificent.

Everything we needed!

I don’t think we ever stayed in a place that had so much of everything a family needs. Clean, modern, all the utensils, lots of beach stuff, all the little things. Thank you!

Lovely condo

Beautiful condo , very nicely decorated, right on 8th hole of golf course, lovely view . No AC at this condo , lots of fans but it got really hot!! Very well equipped with water toys and beach chairs!

Very comfortable, spacious condo

We enjoyed our stay here, especially the large lanai! The condo was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. The grounds are well maintained. The pool unfortunately was shut down for half our stay. The only thing that we missed a bit was having AC, we were usually out mid day, but it got fairly warm. The fans helped to sleep at night and beds are very comfortable.

Great View!

This property was very nice for our group of 2 married couples. The condo was well equipped, clean and comfortable. There were some items for the beach that made our trip to Hapuna White Sand Beach so nice! The views from the master bedroom, living room and lanai were wonderful- golf course fairway and trees and ocean behind it. The sunsets were spectacular. The manager, Laura was a delight to interact with. She really helped us know some of the great things to do and places to visit on the island. She was extremely responsive when we had a small maintenance issue that needed attention. The complex appears to be doing some upgrades and repairs including the pool- which was down the entire time of our stay- that was disappointing but the pool area looks really nice...just hadn't opened yet before we left. Be aware (and I believe it's in the listing) that the condo doesn't have air conditioning but does have fans which help. We were out most of the days and returned in the evening so it wasn't a huge issue for us. It could be a problem with higher temperatures or humidity if one is sensitive to it. The home and complex was quiet which was nice. Be aware that the quiet rules for the complex and pool are very stringent (according to the paperwork in the binder at the condo) so a family with teenagers or small children may find them to be too strict or it could be a problem during your stay. The condo is super close (about 1/2 mile) to the bay that has snorkel and manta ray excursions. DON'T miss out on the manta rays---we used Sea Paradise! The condo is about a 10 minute drive to the busy/tourist part of Kailua Kona. We enjoyed the condo and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect family stay

Kahaluu-Keauhou provided the perfect stay for our Kona stay. Easy access to all the amazing things to do in Kona on the quiet side of town. We found Laura’s place sparkling clean and Laura was a dream to work with. Check-in was easy and everything we needed to make our beach days perfect in the way of towels, Snorkeling gear, beach chairs were available. The free internet was super fast and worked seamlessly. Thks Laura, it was a great stay.

Wonderful Kona Experience!

This is a very comfortable condo - exactly as described, and more. The area is very quiet which is exactly what we needed. I would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful place

Beautiful place. This was a great setup for our Hawaii vacation. Laura, the host, did a great job helping create a memorable experience. The condo is close enough to things you can easily reach anything you need in a few minutes but yet far enough to not be in the middle of all the tourists. While things are very close it is still helpful to have a car due to all of the hills on this side of the island (we ended up extending ours for this reason). The only downside was the lack of AC since our Minnesota selves weren’t quite acclimated to the Hawaii humidity. There are several large fans though to help with this and the patio was always a great place to cool off. Overall, a fantastic place that we would be happy to stay again!

Positive experience!

This property was a very nice setup for a Hawaii vacation! The only feedback is that it doesn't have AC so my recommendation is to visit Hawaii during summer unless you rent a property with AC. Otherwise, this property is amazing to rent. It had all the amenities you need, Hawaii shirts, beach chair, towels, coffee pot, laundry, dryer, plenty of space, beautiful patio view. When the wheater was cool, I enjoyed cofee on the patio. Loved it!

Great location and very quiet

We were very happy with this condo. Such a great location. Close enough to downtown but not so busy. The condo was everything we hoped for. And we often had the pool to ourselves. It had all the amenities we expected and a few more. We used the beach chairs and cooler quite a bit. Our two teenagers can confirm that the wifi was good.

Great Getaway

We had a perfect getaway to this adorable condo. The best parts were that for one, the kitchen was fully stocked and equipped and even had food items in the pantry. The view from the lanai was amazing and the neighbors were so kind and always up for a chat. It was a short walk to the shoreline, although it wasn’t what we imagined (not amazing access, but still beautiful). Some things could be updated in the condo, such as the WiFi which went down on us for a full two days and I had to reconfigure the whole thing. The TV guide was broken but still workable. Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful!

Tropical Oasis is truly an oasis! From the moment you open the front doors and see the beautiful view to the golf course and ocean. The property is nicely decorated, and well appointed with everything you need - coffee pot for the delicious Kona coffee, blender, lots of dishes, cookware, towels, and beach things. There is also an inventory of cooking items - spices, olive oil, aluminum foil, etc. The community areas are beautiful with a large pool and spa, and lots of tropical plants. Laura, the property manage is a dream to work with. We have stayed at Tropical Oasis three times and will be returning next year - what more can I say!

Well equipped condo in a quiet development close to town

I wish I had taken my golf clubs and a fishing pole. Then I would have been really tired and more thoroughly enjoyed the very comfortable master bed. This condo is conveniently close to the Keauhou shopping center, and borders the Kona Country Club. You don't hear the traffic on the Ali'i "motor speedway" which fronts the development, and provides great access for a southbound trip. Best of all, there are no stairs to contend with as you haul luggage, groceries or yourself to and from the parking lot. Look at the geckos on the walkway, and as you take the 38 second stroll to the very clean swimming pool.

Nice Condo, difficult neighbors

This Condo has everything you need for an amazing big island stay. There is even snorkel gear and boogie boards in the hall closet! The kitchen is very well stocked with anything you need. The master bedroom tv has Netflix! The location is excellent, about a 20 minute drive to Kona. The nearby cove provides great snorkeling. All in all, this Condo is very nice and comfortable. The downside is the neighbors and the strict rules of the complex. Our second day there, the upstairs neighbor confronted my friend (btw...we are two older females...57 and 61) about “stomping” around. We were surprised since we were not wearing shoes inside and we consider ourselves to be super conscientious. The pool hours are limited to 8 am thru 9 pm so forget about that 10 pm hot tub. The tub was also out of service for two days while we were there. If you have kids, there is a rule that forbids playing Marco Polo! The permanent tenants seem to be a bit standoffish and we got the feeling they resent vacationers.
