We understand that our guests’ may have additional concerns for cleaning and dis-infection and we have enhanced our cleaning procedures even further to provide you with our usual sparkling clean arrival with deliberate sanitizing attention to high-touch surfaces.

We offer contactless check-in and ensure that you are the first to enter after the unit has been cleaned.

Enjoy oceanfront views from your living room, kitchen, oceanfront bedroom and upstairs bathroom or while reading a book or enjoying a cool drink on your lanai. They don't allow units to be built this close to the ocean anymore - you can actually see turtles nibbling on the rocks or the yellow tangs in the aquamarine surf from your oceanfront bedroom.

We supply everything you need indoors, designated parking 35 feet from front door and this lovely 15+ acre complex boasts a newly refinished pool & deck area that's perfect for all ages AND three lovely and newly resurfaced tennis courts for which our guests can play for free.

Also, this unit has independant AC units in each of the bedrooms so that you might sleep more comfortably at night. We haven't listed AC as one of the amenities because AC is limited to the bedrooms only. :)

We're also less than 1/2 mile from world class snorkeling (Kahalu'u Beach Park; aka Snorkel or Turtle Beach) and less than 1/2 mile from the Keauhou Shopping Center where you'll find groceries, restaurants, medical care, theatre, drug stores and more. It's really perfectly wonderful!! Also, a complete kitchen remodel was just done in September 2016 so everything was brand new (originally built in 1970's)! Still, our rates are set to entice those who might not normally budget for oceanfront. It's lovely and sweet!

Comparable refurbished and remodeled units run at least $25-$40 more per night during low season and $50-$75 more per night during Winter months. (See 145210). This unit is clean, oceanfront and still a work in process for ongoing renovations and priced to be a nice deal!

The condo is well maintained and had all the necessities. The location is unbeatable, the sunset over the ocean from our lanai- heaven! The beds were comfy and everything was clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

The property is amazing. You cannot beat the location and the grounds are immaculate. Well situated close to everything. Stocked with all the things you need from pots and pans to beach chairs. Mosquitos are a reality. Bring bug spray. Host was quick and kind to respond to all my questions. Would stay again. Book it!

Location, location, LOCATION!

Unless you're staying in one of the other 7 units with private access to the beach, I don't think you can find a better location anywhere! The view and beach access at this townhouse are simply unparalleled! The pool and the grounds themselves are stunning and even the non-oceanfront side of the building is quite private and beautifully landscaped.The unit is somewhat dated, but that is reflected in the pricing and we found it very much as we were expecting. The VRBO was very well-equipped with all the amenities we were hoping for! There were paper towels, travel size shampoo and conditioner, soap bars and a few rolls of toilet paper to get us started. We cooked most of our own meals and found all the necessary supplies available. We were very pleased to have beach towels provided, saving us space when packing, and the ample supply of dishwasher and washing machine pods was very convenient as well. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was great at night as it was frequently quite humid and a little warm for sleeping. The rest of the time, the cross breeze and fans kept us pretty comfortable. Sandy was so helpful answering our questions while planning the trip and was also able to work out a late check-out for us, which was so nice given our 7pm departure flight. We would absolutely stay here again if we are fortunate enough to return to the Big Island!

Excellent location

Right when you open the door, you’re hit with a view of the ocean that can’t be beat. Yes, the unit is a little rough around the edges. But it had everything we needed to feel right at home and thoroughly enjoy our stay. It’s close to groceries and great activities, and the neighborhood is peaceful and well maintained.

The Unit Needs Some Love

We were surprised to find an oceanfront condo at the KKSR available and were happy to book it. The location is great and so are the neighbors, but the unit itself needs work. The unit was dirty when we checked in: fingerprints all over the walls, stairwell and doors for an example. The light fixtures on the end tables were all either broken or didn't work. We made due, but this unit is nowhere near the quality of the other units in the complex. With a bit of freshening up, this unit would be amazing.

Amazing

We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 1 child and infant). This is our 13th trip to the island and I have never experienced this kind of positive experience. We stayed for 14 nights. I gave this review 4 stars for the check in process because the person in charge of changing the lock box code stated he wasn’t expecting us to check in that day BUT Sandy is phenomenal- she responded immediately. We had a few hiccups at check in (in addition to the lock box code) but the issues were resolved quickly. Everything else is 5 stars. Prior to flying out I contacted Sandy, inquired about a pack and play & high chair for our baby, and although she didn’t have any available she provided us with what we needed so we didn’t have to take our own. The place is a bit dated but it’s Hawai’i and you can’t beat the location. The kitchen, living room, main bedroom, upstairs bathroom and lanai all have an ocean view. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and most importantly we had a washer and dryer (which really comes in handy when traveling with kids- less clothing to pack). Bedrooms upstairs each had a portable AC unit which comes in handy on those humid nights. This is one of a few units that have access to the beach and we enjoyed 14 breathtaking sunsets. At check out Sandy accommodated us (as our flight was late and it was delayed). Mahalo for everything Sandy!! I highly recommend this place for the location but most importantly for the customer service Sandy provides.

We all really enjoyed the stay at this lovely condo! The view from the ocean side bedroom and lanai especially was beautiful. We thoroughly appreciated the space and all the amenities.

Dear Sandy and Ginger, I will just say we fell in love with Kona!

Simply Wonderful! We will be back! Condo was outstanding! The view doesn’t get any better anywhere! I have travel to Hawaii probably 30 times in my lifetime, and I have never stayed in a place where the view was simply spectacular and at my fingertips! Everyone was super nice and we made new friends along the way, so what more can you ask? You get a 10!

Better than the listing

What a wonderful place to vacation! The pictures just dont capture how great this spot is. It was perfect for our group of 4 (2 couples). Kitchen was well equipt for our morning breakfast and the lanai was perfect for enjoying our meals, while listening to the waves and viewing the rainbows on the horizon. Our last day we were graced with a family of turtles that we watched from the lanai. The pool is an added bonus, well kept and was never too crowded. Close enough to town to enjoy all the restaurants and shops. Groceries and more restaurants just a couple minutes away too. Bedroom A/C was clutch and the fans and nice breeze kept downstairs at a very tolerable temperature. Very happy with our stay here and we hope its available for our next trip to Big Island. Mahalo!

The ocean and sunsets are magnificent!

Good location, lots of nice shops and a supermarket nearby. Away from the hustle and bustle but close enough for access to swimming and snorkeling and has its own tidal pool beach. Condo unit itself very clean and in good condition. Surf and racquet club resort is well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed this location and the accommodations. It's great there are AC units in the bedrooms. However the checkout laundry process could possibly entail a morning effort on your last day. Overall this is a very nice and accommodating property. And if you enjoy the sound of surf and beautiful sunsets this is the place for you! We would absolutely rate this property 110%!!

AMAZING !! Could see sea turtles in the ocean from the porch!! The sunsets were unbelievable. The property was clean, quiet, and wonderful. We had the best property at this location!!!!

We stayed at the property mid July. The condo had everything we needed. The view from the back porch is amazing. We enjoyed being able to step out and enjoy the beach. July is warm and humid in Hawaii. The place had plenty of fans, but it could use a portable air conditioner. We are from a warm climate so it didn’t impact us much.

Kona getaway

This unit overlooks the shoreline with direct view of the beach / shoreline and Kona sunsets. Breezy when there is one. Excellent for our needs. The only downside is no air conditioning in the unit. Be prepared for muggy humid weather in Kona!

Perfect beach vacation

This property was exactly as described. We stayed for 15 days and found it very comfortable and relaxing with all the kitchen and bbq items necessary to prepare meals. The lanai views the beach and is perfect for watching sunsets.

Paradise found.

Wonderful complex; Close to best snorkeling beach in the area; Shopping area just up the road very convenient. Our unit which overlooks the shore of a private refuge is fantastic. We fall asleep each evening to the sounds of the ocean. We have been vacationing in Hawaii for over 30 years and this is by far our favorite spot.

October Kona visit

Stayed here for the Ironman Championship Excellent location and amazing views Townhome very well stocked with kitchen and bath essentials The TV in the living room was broken/not working during our entire stay—property manager notified and took broken TV but new one wasn’t installed during our stay Very good communication though between property manager-owner and us

Great management people but condo in needs of updates.

We were very happy with the location of the condo as far as being so close to the ocean. Sandy and Regina were amazing in making sure we were as comfortable as possible. However, we were disappointed in the state of the condo which needs to be updated and is quite dark downstairs since a window is covered by a piece of furniture.

Very nice condo with all the conveniences and right on the beach. Good service also - when the toilet was leaking, it was fixed quickly.
