Lido Key is located on a laid back barrier island close to trendy and vibrant downtown Sarasota on the west coast of Florida. The area is known for great beaches, good food, outdoor activities, local attractions and lots of sunshine. We are centrally located on Lido Key a block to the beach and short 10 minute walk to St. Armand's Circle for boutique shopping and numerous outdoor seating restaurants. Downtown is minutes away over the Ringling Bridge.

This new to market second floor bright and sunny island decorated two bedroom one bath unit provides all the comforts you'd expect after a long day at the beach or exploring the local area. With vaulted ceiling, ceiling fans throughout and recessed lighting to set the mood along with the open floor plan it's warm and welcoming and easy to relax and entertain at any time. Located in the quiet and charming Chateau Village condo complex it's one of only 10 units in the complex which is conveniently located on South Lido Key.

Ted Sperling Park is a 5 minute walk and home to some of the best kayaking and SUP in Florida with the Lido Mangrove tunnels. North Lido Beach is home to large colonies of sea birds year round and great beach walks. Downtown minutes away!

Janice is the ultimate host. She responded immediately when communicating with her and she checked in periodically during our stay to make sure we were enjoying our visit. The apartment was beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It is in a great location within a short walk to the beach and to St. Armands Circle. We can highly recommend and we plan on staying here again on future visits to Lido Key.

Fantastic place!! Clean, conveniently located, good parking, quiet, and otherwise as described in the listing. Communication with the hosts was easy and excellent, and everything was smooth from booking through check out!! We would easily stay here again, and I would highly recommend for a couple, small family, or maybe two adults (siblings, friends traveling together, or the like) who wouldn't mind sharing the bathroom. Beach chairs, umbrella and cart were a fantastic extra touch. Supplying the pod of dolphins to watch at the beach every day was almost too much, though! Have I mentioned clean? The condo was spotless, and I commend Jan and Chris for keeping everything up so nicely!!

Janiceā€™s place was just as it was describedā€¦ And just right for us! it was clean and comfortable and close to Lido Beachā€¦ we loved having our own little place so close to everything. Jan was a wonderful host and very responsive to any questions or requests. We would happily stay here again!

This condo is an absolute gem! I stayed from July 31st to August 4th and couldnā€™t have asked for a better home base in Lido Key. Itā€™s bright, beautifully decorated, and just a block from the beach ā€” plus an easy 10-minute walk to St. Armands Circle for great food and shopping.The space was spotless and cozy, with vaulted ceilings, ceiling fans, and everything needed for a relaxing getaway. I especially loved the peaceful atmosphere of the Chateau Village complex. It felt like a hidden oasis, yet still close to everything.The hosts were incredibly attentive and kind ā€” their care and local insight made a big difference. I highly recommend this listing to anyone looking for a laid-back, beachside escape with charm and convenience!

Mini-Vacation for Wedding

My cousin was getting married at the Botanical Gardens so we decided to take advantage of the long Memorial Day weekend to stay at the beach. Great location! We walked to the beach and St Armands Circle. Some of the shops are still closed but still plenty to do day/night. The condo was great, communication with the host was great, very responsive. Do recommend and will stay again.

Perfect Mother's Day Getaway

After a hard year, this was the perfect getaway to celebrate Mother's Day. This space had everything we needed and the communication leading up and during was wonderful. The location was great and we were close to the public beach access and all the good eats St. Armand's Circle had to offer. Looking forward to staying again!

Comfort at Lido Key Condo

This was our first time visiting Sarasota and are so happy we were able to stay in this beautiful condo. The condo is so cozy and clean! It is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our 5 night stay.We enjoyed our walks to Armand Circle and how close the beach was. The beach chairs, umbrella , towels and wagon were great touches. Beds were very comfortable! Communication was excellent. Location to nearby beaches and trolly stops were great. We hope to visit again.

Overall Nice Property, But the Beds Were Unbearable and pillows weren't great either.We recently stayed at this property in Lido Beach and, overall, the home itself was nice. Unfortunately, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, making it impossible for us to enjoy our stay. The mattresses were so poor that we woke up every morning with headaches and severe back pain. The pillows weren't great either. Despite trying to make it work for the first three nights of our planned eight-night stay, we ultimately had to check into a hotel just to get some rest and salvage our trip.We did reach out to the owner to share our concerns, but the response was disappointing. She mentioned she wished we had told her sooner and said that she would have offered to replace the pillows. The issue was clearly the mattresses and the pillows added to the problem. When we expressed that, she dismissed our experience, saying other guests had complimented the beds in past reviews. She even text the comments from the other reviews. This made us feel like our concerns werenā€™t taken seriously.The owner did say she would try to rebook the remaining nights and send us a check if she could, but we have yet to receive anything.While the property itself was pleasant, the lack of comfort and the ownerā€™s dismissive attitude made this a disappointing experience for us. Hopefully, future guests have a better experience with communication and comfort.

Quick stay for soccer event

We had a soccer showcase in Lakewood Ranch and also had some college visits scheduled down towards Ft. Myers. After looking at some hotels, I decided to check VRBO to see if there were options to give my daughter her own room, which is where we found this spot! The locations was fantastic for the beach and the main part of Lido with restaurants etc. Our property manager/owner was very helpful throughout the stay and is still helping me with various questions I had on the area. Would highly recommend the stay to anybody, whether it be for a quick stay or an extended vacation...well worth it!

Walkable Location

Enjoyed our weekend stay at this pretty condo in Chateau Village near St. Armandā€™s Circle. Five minute walk to the beach, fifteen minute walk to upscale shops and good restaurants on the circle. The condo is nicely decorated and had everything we needed - nice kitchen, fluffy towels, and beach chairs. The owner promptly answered my questions and provided helpful information about the area.

We are Chris & Jan and we have lived on laid back Lido Key since 2013 and owned on Lido even longer. Both of us are retired (Chris recently - yahoo!) and as we say we are "living the dream" on Lido.

Jan's a retired banker from Maple Shade, NJ which is where we met in 2000. At that time she did not know I would become the way for her to move to Florida away from the snow and ice of winters. We've been together ever since. She's also the brains of our rentals.

Iā€™m a Florida native that grew up in South Florida beaches and have lived all over the state. I'm retired after having worked as a Sales & Marketing Executive seemingly spending more time on planes and in hotels around the world that at home over the past 20 years. I'm pretty handy and handle the maintenance.

We've been so fortunate to have made so many friends with people that have rented from us and many come back year after year.
