This light and bright lake home is every vacation goers dream sleeping up to 14 adults comfortably, equipped with two separate upstair wings. The main second level has 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and a laundry room. The stunning master suite has a king size bed and a bathroom that is bright and roomy with a walk-in shower, double sinks and a soak tub that over looks the lake and pool. The queen sized room also overlooks the lake and has its own bathroom. The other 2 queen sized rooms are connected by a jack and jill bathroom with a front looking walkout balcony. Then there's a separate stair case to get to the second upstairs wing. The bunk room sleeps 4 and is perfect for kids. The second master bedroom is another gorgeous room overlooking the lake and pool area. The king size bed and separate bathroom is its own private suite within the home. Let this home relax you and help you create new memories with a game room stocked with corn hole & bocce ball (for outdoor play), ladder balls, cards and other boards games. Don't worry, if you're not a person who likes playing games, let the pool fountains relax you as you lounge poolside with the resort style feeling with your favorite drink, enjoy some heat in the new hot tub, practice your putting on the private putting green-or watch your favorite show or game on the television in the outdoor living space. Then wind down the evening by relaxing by the gas fire table under the covered porch or at the wood fire pit in the lower yard. The beautiful lake views and star gazing can make your evenings magical. The property is beautiful, spacious, and has many on site activities. If you want to spend more time on the lake, bring your boat, or rent one from the local marina, a stone throw away, and cruise around Lake Oconee while soaking in the sun and enjoying Lake Country. We love it here, we know you will too!

Beautiful home!

The layout of the house was perfect for us. Our adult children are excellent cooks so the kitchen was perfect.however the oven didnā€™t quite reach temperature & boiling water on the stove took a very long time. We enjoyed the pool & loved the shade that the patio provided while watching Wimbledon. I do wish there were more king beds or twin beds. The queens arenā€™t very practical. However we truly enjoyed our stay.

Awesome family house!

We loved the house so much - great amount of space and it felt comfortable, even though we had a large family group. The 2 fridges, kitchen and grille were awesome. The boat company the owners suggested even delivered our boat rental right to the dock, fantastic and just SO EASY! A true vacation. It was a quiet little nook on the lake, easy to get around and a ton of fun, we will 100% rent this house again!! The only (tiny) thing that we suggest is make sure to bring blackout curtains, there are no blinds (and small sheer curtains) on the bedroom windows and that made it hard for the little kids to go to bed. Other than that - wonderful experience!!

Great Thanksgiving

This was a perfect place to have family at Thanksgiving. We had 10 people ages 23-79 years old. Plenty to do outside and inside, the game room, putting green, and pool table all had lots of use. The kitchen was great for preparing Thanksgiving dinner. We had everything we needed. A great time was had by all.

Delightful

We had an absolutely lovely time at this property. Three families enjoyed fall break week at the house. The home is beautiful, well-appointed, and spacious. We rented a boat from the nearby marina and enjoyed the fire pit and large yard. Unfortunately the pool heater was broken so it was a big cold for swims, but otherwise we had a great time. Highly recommend this property and would definitely book it again.

Delightful property perfect for a family

We loved this property! It has unparalleled views of the lake. We were thrilled at the sheer volume of activities, from the pool area, to mini-golf, to board games, shuffleball, and more. The layout is open and spacious, with a kitchen, living room, dining room, office, indoor game room, garage game room, and two baths on the first floor. Inside feels dramatically bigger than the pictures which was a nice surprise! There are two separate wings with separate staircases. On one wing there are two bedrooms; the other wing has 4 bedrooms and a laundry room. This is a perfect layout if you have multiple families or travelers who go to bed and get up at different times. This house was fully stocked and we thought the hand soap in every bathroom was a wonderful extra touch we appreciated on arrival. The master bathroom is phenomenal - huge, with an excellent double shower. For cooking, the huge pantry stored all of our groceries, and the grill outside was perfect - fired up instantly every time and cooked perfectly. There is a dual coffee maker which is great in case you have preferences for Keurig or ground coffee. Communication was fast and very helpful as well. We really loved this property and would absolutely stay here again!

Great get-away

The property was amazing. On the second night the dishwasher broke and the property management team had it fixed by lunchtime the next day - truly excellent customer support. Everything was perfect. only issue was that the listing from about a year ago when we booked wasn't as clear as I expected on their being no full bedrooms on the first floor, but the current listing is very descriptive for what the house is. This was a great rental on a great lake.

Great stay!

Eight of us including four children had a great day! The house has tons of space, an amazing supply of cooking equipment as well as an outdoor grill set up with a outdoor fridge. The pool was perfect and has a shallow area for the little kids who aren't great swimmers yet. We rented a boat and they delivered it right to our dock. The house manager was very quick when we communicated any small issues that arose. We can't wait to come back!

Gorgeous home in a perfect cove!

Like previous guests of this wonderful home we have only superlatives to describe how nice of a place it is - especially for a group of adults (in our case all family). We particularly enjoyed the pool, covered outdoor seating area with ceiling fans and a TV perfect for watching World Cup games, etc.The kitchen is well stocked and has plenty of space for prepping, mixing and cooking with a crowd. Our only advice is if you bring or rent a boat, the cove is quite shallow so be mindful of the dredged lane marked by stakes to travel in/out of the dock from the deeper parts of the lake. Highly recommend this beautiful home!

We were very pleased with the house. We have stayed in many rentals over the years. The Blue Heron is the best by far. Loved the cleanness and privacy. I expected it to be just an ok house.. nothing special The pictures do not do justice to the house! Loved the layout of the house and all the extras. If we are in the area again we definitely would rent again. Thanks for sharing your house!

Memorial Day Week

We had 11 in our group. For over 20 years we vacationed either at Hilton Head or Rosemary Beach. This was our first trip to Lake Oconee. The house was perfect for our group, from morning coffee by a propane fire pit to renting kayaks, jet skis, etc., pool time and evening at the other wood fire pit. Great Lake view. Many games, cornhole, bocci ball, putting green kept our group busy. Only 10 minutes from grocery store and restaurants. Debbie Miller was a pro and great to work with. She was very responsive to any questions we had.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this beautiful home for Thanksgiving week. Our entire family drove in from surrounding areas to be together. The house is absolutely stunning. The views of the lake are perfect. The kitchen and living room are gigantic and set up well for a large group. Our host was also very accommodating and thoughtful. We would certainly recommend this property for anyone looking for a clean and beautifully appointed house that provides lake access, beautiful views, a backyard that is like a resort. I almost forgot, we spent countless hours around the fire pit as the sun went down. Such a great property Btw, the kitchen faucet malfunctioned on the second morning. We called the management company, and a plumber arrived within an hour with a brand new faucet, which he installed and was gone within 45 minutes. Rather impressive.

Family Vacation

Overall, we had a great experience. It was more than enough room for 10 adults. The pool and fire pit were a big hit and the putting green was a welcome surprise. The outdoor area was great and much of our time were spent there. One thing I will point out and this is for all the fishermen, this side of the lake is shallow water around 2 feet deep. If you have a boat, be careful because you will hit the bottom and possibly get stuck. Also if you are planning to fish from the dock, you may not have much luck because of the shallow water but it's a huge lake with great fishing spot that you can get to on a boat. We had beautiful weather so we fished every day and caught around 75 fish. Like I say great place to stay with a large family and I would recommend it.
