Our villa is located in a beautiful residential area in the southeast of Cape Coral on a saltwater canal that leads directly to the Gulf of Mexico.

We offer you an exclusive fully furnished vacation paradise with a large open living space. This 1800 sq-ft Villa oasis sleeps up to 6 people, the perfect place to relax and leave everyday life behind. After a long day touring the local attractions you can relax in the living room or watch a movie in the family room or share your experiences with the friends over the Internet. If you enjoy cooking you will be right at home in our fully equipped kitchen. From the glass top stove and oven, to microwave, combination carafe and K-Cup coffee maker, everything is ready to serve a delightful breakfast, lunch or dinner in dining area. Luxuriate in the spacious master bathroom in the morning, and save time getting going in the morning since there are two additional bathrooms one with direct pool access for your swimming convience.

Our pool with wet bar, sun loungers and barbecue allow you to relax and unwind after a full day of adventure. We have a boat dock with 10,000 lb lift and if you like you can rent a boat nearby. You can dock the boat at the house before heading out fishing, shelling to one of the many public beaches and ending your day at one of the many water side resturaunts.

The property includes four bicycles and two kayaks for your recreational pleasure.

Bicycles - Bicycle riders 16 and younger are required by Florida law to wear helmets. You must bring your own helmet. You are welcome to use our bicycles that are there at your own risk. When renting this unit, you are accepting all risk and liability if you choose to use our bicycles instead of bringing your own. YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN HELMETS.

Kayaks - There are two kayaks available for use. When renting this unit, you are accepting all risk and liability if you choose to use our kayaks. Florida state law requires each person on the kayak have a life jacket on board and a noise generating device (whistle). Life jackets and whistles are available in the garage with the kayaks.

Liability release - You must e-sign a liability release for each person that uses the bicycles and kayaks. The it can be found at the following link:

We enjoyed our stay at this spacious home that had more amenities included than expected. Home was very clean and inviting and located in a quiet neighborhood but very close to groceries, restaurants and activities. House was nice, clean, very accommodating (beach chairs, pool floaties, etc.) beds were comfortable and furniture was nice! They have blinds on the sliding doors that bang and clang constantly when the fans are on - they need to get rid of these theyā€™re annoying! The pool was FREEZING we couldnā€™t use it - even my husband was like no way itā€™s freezing (and heā€™s part polar bear!) this was super disappointing because this is one of the main reasons we chose this property. We had to refill the propane tank on the bbq - I sent a receipt and asked for reimbursement but have not heard back. Overall it was a nice stay. Just a few very minor hiccups.

Great property!

We just spent a month at this beautiful home and loved it!! Very comfortable inside and out..the pool was awesome and my husband fished everyday. Neighborhood is very quiet and close to plenty of restaurants and grocery stores. Would highly recommend and hope we can get back there sometime soon!!

This was an outstanding place to stay everything was first class. Clean and every detail was thought out for our stay. I would recommend this place to anyone wishing to get away and not have worry about any details. Every thing was provided for the stay. And the outdoor facilities were second to none. Only problem was we had to leave the small piece of paradise. I highly recommend.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful time! The neighbors next to the house were very sweet and friendly. The house is located to easy drives to beaches, restaurants, and shopping. The pool was clean and there is a TV outside to use while swimming. The pool bathroom was convenient. Overall the house was great we enjoyed our stay.

Gulf access home

Very nice home with quick access to open water. We rented a boat for 5 days while we were here and it was 15-20 minutes to open water. We went to Sanibel Island and Ft Myers areas as well as driving through the many canals. The kids loved the pool and it was a nice neighborhood to take morning walks. We would definitely stay here again.

Great House

The check in process and initial communication was a little flawed; but rapidly corrected. Everything else was wonderful. The house was beautiful with a wonderful layout, well stocked in the kitchen. Beautiful indoors and out. Owners were responsive throughout (could do basics like release for kayaks and bikes prior to check in or let guests know that in advance); but they did respond quickly about those things. The house itself and grounds made for a wonderful family spring break.

Fantastic Stay!!

My family and I had an amazing 10 days. We needed for needed for nothing. Amazing pool with inflatables. Bikes for riding around the neighbourhood. Kayaks to paddle the canals in search of Dolphins. Had a BBQ every day either for breakfast or Dinner. Close to all amenities. 10 minutes to the beach and 45 minutes to Sanibel Island. The owner was super helpful with some great advice. I could not recommend the property highly enough.

Yearly Family Vacation

We stayed here last year and loved it so much we had to come back again this year. The house is beautiful inside and out. It has everything you need and more. My husband and I enjoyed drinking our morning coffee out on the boat dock, watching the water and wildlife. It's beautiful and so peaceful. The kids absolutely loved the color changing lights in the pool this year. They thought it was the coolest thing ever. The neighborhood is super quiet. We will definitely rent again. Our yearly trip to Florida

We had a wonderful vacation, The house had everything that you need and more. The neighborhood was very quiet, and the neighbors next door were super sweet. The pool was very nice and clean and the TV outside was nice to watch at night after a long day at the beach. The house also has a few bikes and kayaks for you to use, even thought we didn't get a chance to use them. We were busy with other things this vacation, but it was nice to know we had them already at the house so we didn't have to being ours. Overall the house was perfect for our family vacation. A must rent!! We will stay again in the future. Thanks again Mark and Debbie for sharing your lovely home with us.

Great stay

In 2020 my son and his girlfriend had already booked the Villa Katharina, but because of Covid, they could nott go. The owner was very nice and understanding and let them cancel their reservation. This time we booked the villa for the family. We had a great stay and really enjoyed our time in Cape Coral. The location is perfect. Some of the furniture is a bit run down. Also some dishes were chipped, the bed linens had holes and the towels were shabby. The kitchen could also need some more dishes, just barely a minimum is provided. Despite these complaints, we really enjoyed our stay at the villa. Silvia, the manager, was always very helpful and we were even allowed to stay a bit longer at the house, which was wonderful because we had a late flight.

We inherited a number of issues with the property. although we knew half the lanai screens were gone, wew were told by the owner they would be fixed "after" we left. the screen repair company showed up and took almost a week to replace the screens. The shower in the lania bathroom leaked and was never repaired. In general,, the communication was poor at best.

Home in quiet neighborhood

We had a 5-week stay during which we encountered some issues. Dryer broke and was replaced in 5 days. Garage door broke and repair was not completed properly because door would go up with remote but not down. Replaced batteries but didnā€™t help. New induction stove/oven which was great but no instructions on how to use. No instructions provided by owner for operation of TVā€™s and accessing local/streaming channels. Owner was nice. For longterm guests kitchen cupboards had to be rearranged to make room for groceries. Bedroom closet shelves full of extra bedding so not accessible for use.. We made do and enjoyed our stay in spite of these issues.

Wouldnā€™t stay again

The house has curb appeal and the pool is nice. But, the house is very sparsely furnished with dishes and amenities. The appliances are old. The ice maker wasnā€™t working even tho the property manger said it was fixed. The oven didnā€™t work, leaving us with foods we couldnā€™t fix. The owner is from Germany so all monies you have to pay are assessed a foreign exchange fee, which added an additional $50 overall. When checking in, we found moldy foods in the cupboards and a dirty grill even tho the check in sheet stated weā€™d be charged for leaving the grill dirty. Weā€™ve rented many homes and condos over the last 12/15 years, this was not worth the money. Beware of an extra electric charge too!!

This home felt like HOME. It had everything we could ever possibly need! Blowup mattress, extra towels, plenty of room, things one could use for the beachā€¦the list goes on! Not to mentionā€¦LOCATION! Close to everything you may need to grab from the store, to something to eat, to the quick drive to Fort Myerā€™s Beach! It was simply perfect for our family.

Clean Property / Great Communication

The property was very clean and great communication on behalf of both the owner and property management team. Our daughter locked us out of the outdoor bath room and the owner was vey responsive and had the keys sent to us next day. There are several quality beach chairs, toys umbrella and as well as bicycles and kayaks. We are a family of 6 with two teens and two pre-teens and it was a little small for us but would be perfect for a younger family or fewer family members.

Overall this was exactly what we thought it would be. Yes very clean but there were there past checking time. We had to wait to get in. Communication on anything was good no issues there. Although it does state condition for propane, it was very disappointing that it ran out during our bbQing. We donā€™t feel it should be the renters responsibility to get the refill. Credit was not appealing for us.

My wife and & I are from the Philadelphia area. Several years ago, I had a business trip to the Fort Myers area and we decided to extend the trip and have a mini vacation afterwards. We immediately fell in love with the area and returned year after year. We began staying in VRBO properties because of all of the advantages: privacy, space, amenities, safety, convenience and price so we decieded to buy in Cape Coral.

We engaged a realtor and tasked them with a very specific selection criteria. We required a minimum 1750 sq-ft, 3-bedroom 2-bathroom home with an open-modern floor plan, a pool with enclosed lanai. It had to have gulf access because when I eventually retire here, I plan on acquiring a boat. We wanted a property that met all of the latest Florida building codes and a home that was already a VRBO home because we knew it would be well maintained, furnished and already had an established following as a rental property. Finally, it had to be in a quiet family-oriented neighborhood but also convenient to shopping, restaurants and activities. When we found Villa Katerina, we knew we had found "The One". The house had been on the market less than one day and already had five offers. We were told we would have one opportunity to bid on the house and we went in with an offer 5% over asking. You can't imagine our disappointment when we were informed, we were outbid by one other offer. This was the first property in months of searching that net all of our criteria. We continued searching but never found "The One" again until we got a call from our realtor informing us that it was about to be relisted and were, we still interested. We immediately said yes and 30 days later Villa Katerina was ours and now she can also be yours.
