This Mid century Modern property captures the sophisticated Palm Springs vibe of yesteryear. Experience comfort, ease and style in this spacious 3 bedroom 2 bath modern home with vaulted ceilings, mountain views and fabulous furnishings and decor. This home is ready-made for you and your family and friends to immediately relax, entertain and have fun. Come make memories at your home away from home in glorious Palm Springs!

This home has quality throughout. The owners have purchased the best from Williams Sonoma, Blue Dot, Restoration Hardware, All Clad, Ralph Lauren and other high end brands so you will experience the best.

This home is full of light from the large sliding glass doors and floor to ceiling windows across the back and front of the house. The back siders open to the private patio and pool area, making it the perfect indoor/outdoor Palm Springs Oasis. The large backyard offers total Privacy for sunbathing on the 6 restoration Hardware chaise chairs, floating in the saltwater pool on the Frontgate pool floats or casual barbecues with family and friends. The BBQ is connected to gas so no fuss grilling makes is so easy. The pool can be heated for an additional fee.

The main living area has high vaulted ceilings creating an expansive fee. The spacious and fully-outfitted kitchen with large island makes it smooth and easy to prepare wonderful meals throughout the day.

Like an upscale boutique hotel, all of the 3 king bedrooms feature High end linens, hospitality-quality mattresses, flat screen televisions and ample storage. Each room is flooded with light, high ceilings and a mid century flair.

Located on a quiet street, this stunning home is approximately 5 minutes from downtown Palm Springs and minutes from restaurants, nightlife, shopping and all that Palm Springs has to offer.

By placing a reservation you are accepting the terms and conditions of our house agreement posted on the VRBO website. This is a vacation home and security is always important.

UTILITIES:
For stays of 28 nights and less: Utilities and the heating of the hot tub are included in the rental of the Property, except for the heating of the pool. With advance written notification, the pool can be heated upon the request of Renter for an additional $50.00 per day plus the city tax.
For stays over 28 nights: Utilities are charged upon consumption. A utilities deposit of $3,000 will be held on guests credit card. Consumption charges are billed at the per diem rate from the current utilities cost, without mark-up. Owners will provide utilities bill to guest showing total guest consumption and rates to be paid. With advance written notification, the pool can be heated upon the request of Renter, hot tub heat is controlled via a remote at the property.

Fantastic get-away

My family and I had an amazing time at the property, which was completely as advertised. The home was an amazing retreat with the backyard pool and lounging areas. The property is very well equipped and comfortable for a family of five or six. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

Great pool, hot tub and location

The home was beautifully decorative, comfortable and great flow. The beds were very comfortable. The back yard was an oasis, pool was perfect and the back hedges allowed for some shade while in the pool. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Great location to downtown area, shopping and grocery. Definitely recommend this property.

Amazing place!

The house is amazing, it is completely renovated and specious. It has everything you wish during the stay. We love backyard, from pool and jacuzzi to dinning/lounge areas. Special Thanks to the management for their prompt response for any questions arise. Certainly, we'll consider this lovely place or book through them for any future vacations! We are really enjoyed it! Thanks a lot!

Great house

This house wax awesome for our family gathering over Thanksgiving. The kitchen is stocked with everything from roasting pans to sharp knives to spices. We cooked a full on Thanksgiving meal for our group and a few friends that came over for the day. Lots to do including corn jole and ping pong table in the garage. We hiked, played pickle at Demuth park and went horseback riding. Great trip and a great place to stay!

Poolside splendor at its finest

We loved the midmod decor and the beautifully appointed backyard. Great views, comfortable indoor and outdoor furniture, and TVs in every bedroom made for a luxurious vacation. Modern kitchen with Keurig as well as traditional coffeepot. Check-in was simple and last day cleanup requests were some of the easiest we've encountered with rentals (start the dishwasher, take out the trash, and put the beach towels in the washing machine) and took us less than 5 minutes. Very refreshing compared to some places that ask you to strip the beds, etc. The house manual had great restaurant and activity recommendations as well.

Absolutely Fantastic!

I recently stayed at this property for 4 nights, and I can't say enough great things about the entire experience! Jared, Kristina, and the team are amazing, communicate perfectly, and made the check-in process seamless. The property is EXACTLY as advertised, no gimmicks or trick photos here. It's stunning inside! Looks like it was just renovated and was spotlessly clean when I arrived! The master bedroom is an oasis with a large comfortable bed, and fabulous master bathroom with dual shower. The absolute best part was stepping out of bed, taking 10 steps, and being in the pool first thing in the morning. Honestly, it was like a dream setup. The pool is great, with enough room to swim a bit, but also a nice platform to lay on, and a hot tub on the opposite side. I spent SO much time in the pool! Overall, it is a 5 star property, no question about it. I will definitely be staying again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was pleased with the home, its super cute and the backyard/pool area is lovely, and the beds are super comfy. Upon checking in our first day, I did notice a few things I immediately brought to the attn of the property manager. The kitchen faucet was broken, and the hose was not contracting, and the garburator button got stuck. We also noticed the kitchen cabinets had not been wiped down, there was dried up food on them and the stove was full of crumbs. The property mgr was prompt to respond and was apologetic and had a plumber come out to fix the sink/faucet. I found him very good to deal with and would have no hesitation in recommending McManus House.

Perfection...

First it all started with the incredible property manager, Louisa. My family and I had booked a different home and were met with a freezing cold pool even though we’d paid to have it heated during our stay. We were there to celebrate my sons 3rd birthday and coming from Utah a sunny pool is all he really wanted. Needless to say I decided to look at another rental. It was slim pickings, but somehow we scored this incredible home. Louisa went out of her way to make our transition painless as possible. It was perfection! The home is beautifully remodeled but they kept the MCM look and feel that makes Palm Springs so unique. The pool is super updated and if you’re going on winter months the hot tub gets so toasty! There’s a great seating area, great little yard and an awesome fire table. All in all this will for sure be our go-to moving forward. Thank you again, Louisa.

Most Unprofessional Property Manager - Privacy Violated

The property itself is well appointed and as pictured. The property manager, however, was a nightmare. We rent in Palm Springs several times a year, and we have never had any problems with property managers or with rentals. The property manager ruined our stay. It's clear from our experience that the manager monitors the property with Nest Cameras. She explained that they were turned off while guests are staying there, but the green light on the camera indicated we were being monitored throughout our stay. The second day of our stay, guests staying at the house arrived and I didn't have a chance to review the rules - no amplified sound outside. My cousin brought a speaker outside and played music at low levels for maybe 5 minutes. I was inside changing into my swimsuit when I got a call from the property manager. She was hysterically screaming at me, saying I was ridiculous for violating the rules. She spoke to me like if I was a child, she was so unprofessional and belittling. She threatened me saying the compliance patrol was on the way to the property to kick us out. I tried to explain to her that these were new guests that had just arrived and I hadn't had a chance to orient them to the rules. I apologized and immediately asked the guests to turn off the music. However, she continued screaming and insulting me. I had to cut the conversation because she made me feel so stressed and scared. The music was not loud enough for anyone outside the property to hear. It is clear that she saw the speaker through the Nest Camera. She was monitoring us and violating our privacy. If you value your privacy - do not stay at this property or any other property managed by Louisa.

Absolutely perfect rental

Stayed here with my family for a week over Christmas. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it. Home looks exactly like the pics inside and out. Very spacious. Very comfortable. Huge kitchen. Awesome pool and hot tub. Close to airport, downtown, everything. We’d return in a heartbeat. Thanks, Louisa, for making it so easy and enjoyable.
