Located in historic, central Palm Springs. This home has been completely remodeled inside and out, with classic modern Palm Springs style.
Enjoy the spectacular mountain views from your covered deck overlooking the private, heated, salt water pool and spa. The outdoor living area includes covered and open patios, a dining area, propane fire pit and gas barbecue plus a lawn. Everything you need to enjoy the great Palm Springs weather.
A spacious open great room is the heart of the home. The living room features a vaulted ceiling, a gas fireplace, TV with cable DVR & DVD. It opens to the dining area and a chef's kitchen. The dining area opens directly out to the pool and outdoor living area. The custom kitchen is fully stocked and features stainless appliances, walnut cabinets, classic white quartz counters and an island where guests can gather while you cook or just cook up a cocktail.
The main bedroom has a king size bed, private bath and direct access to the back yard. A queen bed in the second bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms in the third share access to the hall bath. There is an inside laundry room.
Rockette Ranch is located in Palm Springs’ historic El Mirador neighborhood. Named for one of the first resorts that made Palm Springs a destination for Hollywood and the world. Today it's a quiet neighborhood escape with easy access to shops, restaurants, museums, night life, and all that Palm Springs has to offer.

We absolutely loved staying at Rockette Ranch! The house was well stocked and extremely comfortable. Our host was extremely helpful and communicative during our 2 week stay. The house is convenient to so many things in Palm Springs and the surrounding area. The pool and spa along with the outside area were great and we took advantage of them almost everyday. It was really nice having the heated pool especially since during the 2nd week the temperatures were a little cooler. The views of the mountains from the pool area were just outstanding and could not get enough. What a wonderful house and host! We will definitely come back to this house!

The home is in a peaceful neighborhood, but it’s also super close to downtown Palm Springs, so you can easily grab a bite at all the restaurants!

We love this property, this was our second stay here. Everything is catered for, the pool and garden provides a great spot to chill out. The town is close by and everything from supermarkets to restaurants are only a short distance away.

Colin was wonderful and very accomodating. Some of the furniture has been upgraded since the pictures in the listin which was nice. The pool and spa are prefect - heated pools are my favourite. The layout of the house is also perfect and the area is amazing. My husband used the available bikes to cycle to downtown PS each morning. My only issue is that there was a strange smell in the house like stale cigarette smoke. I don't know if that's what it was but it was stronger in carpeted areas and came on stronger when the air conditioner would start up. This might not be an issue for many people but we're fairly sensitive to odors so this wasn't great for us.

We love this property and el mirador is such a nice neighborhood to stay in while in PS. Colin was great and answered all our questions. Check in and checkout were very simple and straightforward. Would recommend to anyone!

We had a terrific stay. The home is clean and beautifully decorated. It is convenient to all sorts of attractions around Palm Springs. Our only complaint is how difficult it was to convince our son to get out of the pool so that we could explore the area!

We recently stayed in Palm Springs with our 16 and 11 year old as part of our tour of the West Coast / Hawaii. We absolutely loved it here. Everything you could possibly need. Pristinely clean. The pool / jacuzzi was wonderful, views amazing and just perfect. Colin was lovely to deal with too. Our only regret is that we weren’t able to stay longer! We hope to come back one day …….

Great place to stay!

The host is fabulous. really nice and check in was super fast and super easy! Great location. Great decor and nice pool with shade! Have to have shade in Palm Springs!

My husband and two young children had a wonderful time! The house was the cleanest place we have ever stayed. The pool and backyard are amazing. It’s very close to downtown Palm Springs. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic Week in the Desert

We had an amazing time at this home! The interior is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. However, we spent most of our time in the back yard floating around in the pool and lounging. The views of the mountain from the pool are simply stunning. In addition, the neighborhood is very quiet and convenient to downtown. We will definitely be back!

Fab house in great location

House was perfect for us. Great layout, kitchen very well equipped with everything our family needed. Nicely furnished with mid-century pieces. Beds were amazing. Outside area was a perfect size with great sun coverage and plenty of space to catch rays. Easy walk through Movie Colony into downtown Palm Springs but far enough away to o be very serene. Excellent. Will definitely be back.

Cleanest vrbo we've ever stayed in.

We were really impressed with Colin's home. It was super clean and well-designed for our family of 4. The hot tub heater worked very well and quickly and we were out in the pool multiple times a day. It's in a great location, close to downtown and all the places we wanted to visit. If you were motivated, it's a pretty easy walk over to Palm Canyon Drive. We would definitely stay here again.

Mid-Century charm

Rockette Ranch has been lovingly retored to its Mid-Century Modern origin with every modern upgrade seamlessly included. It is a comfortable, welcoming house in a very convenient area of town--a few minutes drive from anywhere in Palm Springs. The owner is very accommodating and helpful without being intrusive dureing your stay. The price is quite reasonable considering there is no surcharge fo heating the pool and spa. I've rented several properties in PS over the years but would return to Rockette Ranch in a heartbeat based on the pool heating bargain alone. You cannot go wrong at this little gem of a house.

Great Location with Awesome Mountain Views

A very nice professionally landscaped home with a good pool and hot tub facing the mountains. We spent numerous nights watching the sunsets and local hummingbirds from either in the hot tub or pool - extremely calm and relaxing. At night, many of the local residences also have professional uplighting accenting the many types of palm trees creating a surreal work of art in the quiet neighborhood.The home is centrally located and convenient to shopping / restaurants, and some local nice golf courses so really the best of both worlds.The owner was a pleasure to work with. We would definitely rent this property again.

Already planning to return

9.5 out of 10. As a group of older women, the hot tub and swimming pool had no rails and the steps into the hot tub were so high that it was extremely hard to get in and out, especially if one has arthritis. Keep this in mind depending on your groups needs as this probably applies to children as well. That said almost every rental in Palm Springs doesn’t have handrails at their pools!The kitchen had nice appliances and all the utensils and pots and pans we needed, the grill worked well. The decor was really lovely. Colin was very easy to contact. The location is ideal. In short we are coming back next year!

We bought this house for the spectacular unobstructed mountain views. Unfortunately the best view was from the garage so we tore down the garage and replaced it with a new pool and spa. We then opened up the living room and dining room to the new south facing yard and mountain views.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Enjoy morning coffee on the pool patio watching Mt San Jacinto change colors as the sun rises, return in the evening with a glass of wine to watch the sunset. As the mountain turns dark the tram station lights up and watch the tram climbing to the top.
