Overlook Cottage, Upscale w/ Off-Street Parking!

Be our guest in a newly completed two bedroom two bath cottage designed specifically for short term stays and complemented with designer finishes and dĆ©cor. Located in Portlandā€™s historic Overlook neighborhood; a short walk to light rail transit, Overlook Park, and Mississippi Street boutique shops and restaurants.



We strive to provide a welcoming and hospitable environment with strict cleaning protocols.



Full kitchen, living space, master bedroom with adjoining bath. Hardwoods floors and vaulted ceilings throughout. First floor has a 2nd bathroom, full size washer and dryer, 2nd bedroom with work space, luxurious plush carpet and its own intimate patio for two. Rain shower head and handheld spray in the first floor walk in shower; master bath has a soaking tub/shower.



The kitchen includes all utensils and appliances you will need during your stay including Nespresso coffee. Cozy up on the couch during a cool evening enjoying the gas fireplace with a good book or the flat screen TV.



Additional amenities include: heat pump with a/c, high speed internet, iron & board, fresh slippers provided, closet organizers in both bedrooms, large capacity washer & dryer, and 1 off street parking spot.



Guest have access to the entire living area inside the unit and a private outdoor patio. GARAGE NOT INCLUDED.



We respect our guest privacy, however, we are nearby if there are any needs or questions. We reside in the main house that is separate from the cottage.

Overlook is an established neighborhood with tree line streets, great for walking or biking. Homes are classic northwest bungalows Overlook Park is 5 minutes by foot and has a walking trail, play ground, and picnic areas with a view of the city.



Max Lite Rail is 837ft, 4.375 inches away (approximately) and there is a Nike bike share station there as well. Max goes to the airport, downtown Portland, PGE Park (soccer), the Moda Center (Trailblazer basketball), and the Oregon Zoo. There is 1 off street parking spot.

Perfect Weekend Stay!

We were delighted with the Vrbo home we recently stayed in. The location was absolutely perfect for all of our planned activities. We were very impressed with how clean and well-maintained the property was during our stay. The host was incredibly helpful and consistently communicative. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience!

Our stay in this beautiful home far exceeded our expectations. Not only was the place immaculate. It was also fully stocked with anything we could imagine that we might ever need. The owners went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything to our liking. I highly recommend this property! I canā€™t wait till the next time I return to Portland I certainly will be looking to see if this gorgeous cottage is available.

The second year we have stayed.

This property is perfect for my husband and me when we come to spend two weeks each year visiting our daughter and other family and friends. It is close to our daughter, and any convince we need. The little snacks and gifts are excellent.We like Big Foot on the Corner and the ball on the stair postIt's perfect if you have children. They provide everything needed for babies and small children. We will stay again if our daughter still lives where she does.

Clean (SO CLEAN!) Stylish-- exceptionally nice up grades. Beds were so comfy. Plenty of linens. The kitchen is very well appointed. We loved the goodies they left for us which were a blessing as we were busy with a UP graduation and not much time to make it to the grocery store. Close to great restaurants. 10 minutes to University of Portland and 15 minutes to downtown (in the other direction). Quiet and safe neighborhood. We wish we could have stayed longer. Complete with guardian Yeti near by. :o)

Soothing Clean Well-Appointed

Lovely, thoughtfully designed home, perfect for our family of 4. We love to cook, had to work a bit and do a little laundry while we were in town -- and this soothing, pretty, spacious, modern space was perfect for all of it (including a pouty teen who needed her space, lol). Co-worker trip

You will not be disappointed in this rental. It is beautifully decorated and an all around lovely home. The beds are comfy and the kitchen is nicely stocked. We felt safe in the neighborhood and enjoyed the short commute to the conference venue. We are looking forward to next year's conference and will definitely try to book this home again.

Wedding weekend

This was not a rental but a home. You felt comfortable from the first step in the door. The cottage had everything you could think of and more. The host Tom was so very helpful and was very quick to get back with us if we had questions. It is set in a quiet neighborhood close to everything we needed. Easy to get to the interstate from the cottage. We will definitely stay again the next time we are in Portland.

Positively Portland

We had an amazing stay! This ADU was perfect for us. They left us slippers by the door. We brought our own slippers so we didnā€™t need them, but how thoughtful. The host also left us a nice basket full of goodies from Oregon! The downstairs had a full bathroom and one bedroom which is where my husband and I stayed. It was pretty chilly downstairs but we found if we closed the bedroom door with the heater on, we got toasty. Upstairs was the kitchen, family room and the other bedroom and bathroom. It was decorated for Christmas which was lovely. The host also left us some Nespresso pods, tea, sugar and creamer. My sister and brother-in-law stayed there and were warm and cozy the whole time. We would definitely book this place again!

Perfect In Every Way

We spent Thanksgiving week in this property. It is spotlessly clean and meticulously equipped and decorated! I was able to prepare meals for the week including the traditional Thanksgiving dinner! The location is easy to get to, off street parking is a huge plus! There are restaurants and shopping in the area, but sadly, we did not visit them on this trip. Bedding and linens are fresh, beds are comfortable. The layout is perfect for two couples or a visit with an adult child. We would definitely stay here if in the area again. One of our favorites in years of vacation rentals!

We had a super pleasant stay in this VRBO. Tom was a responsive host accommodating a date change as well as a check-in request. The apartment is newly constructed, very clean, and comfortably appointed in all aspects. We will be back!
