BEWARE: This guest had ignored and broke every house rule such as kept his German shepherd off leash on common with four other houses driveway; smoked marijuana (on which I requested not to smoke). He did not tell me when inquired the stay, that he will be smoking here (there is a strict no smoke policy on a property). He left coffee stains on a wall. Why don’t he wipe it right away?now there is a stain. Finally, he peed (urinated, relieved himself) on my driveway next to my MAIN Entrance to the house. He chose to do so instead of 1 minute walk to the room and use the bathroom, or at least to pee on a grovel in 20 feet distance. The concrete driveway has a visible stain now. I asked him to clean it right away. He ignored my request. He wiped on next morning using my bath towel, which I had to throw away and buy a new set of bath towels. He pays ZERO respect to the property and a host. I never had such a disrespectful guest and do not recommend him to any other host.

Thank you, Kim, for liking my property, noticing how clean it is and texting me “lovely accommodations!” and thanking me for pet sitting your three dogs on Saturday and Sunday (total 6 hours) and recommending my services to your friend staying in a local hotel with a large unannounced dog (which I had to decline), while you were enjoying the city. All amenities, house rules and fees are on my property description and available for review before you book. It also states that the yard is shared and that two other small dogs live on my property. That is why it is important to follow the house rules, which are created for guests, dogs, neighbors’ comfort, safety and security. To reduce unfamiliar dogs’ barking it is best to introduce the guest dogs to my pets. I ask my guests for their approximate time of arrival and always meet my guests, with or without dogs. Pet-friendly property means that I can accommodate guests with pets by providing secured fenced yard(s), furniture covers, crates, water bowls, treats, blankets, pee pads, poo bags, diapers etc. The booking guest agrees to pay for such accommodation by means of a Pet Fee and by following house rules. It does not mean that a guest can bring dogs, unannounced, to a house where other dogs live and leave them loose in a room alone for many hours, uncrated. You broke almost all the house rules: - you did not disclose that you would be bringing three small dogs with you: an unneutered male rat terrier puppy, a female chihuahua, and a female rat terrier - you did not pay the $100 Pet fee; - you did not have your dogs on a leash on the driveway; - you left your dogs alone, free and uncrated, in the room for 2 hours and 15 minutes on the first night after your long trip and they were whining and barking until I got home and called you at 10 PM to come back ASAP and calm your dogs. You knew exactly which dog caused this disturbance and you knew that this would happen. - on Saturday you mentioned that you prefer to pick up dog poop by toilet paper and to throw it into toilet. I reminded you that there is a designated trash can for this (this is in the house rules also). The gravel and rocks can stick to poop and my plumbing/sewer system can be damaged if you throw it into the toilet. - on Sunday you left your dogs alone in the room for 8 hours, expecting me to pet sit. I let them out at noon, when got back home, and spent 3 hours with them. I noticed that they had peed all over the carpet in the room you rented, and I sprayed with urine removal spray. When I called to tell you that the dogs had peed, you were laughing. I said, “That it is not funny.” I do not consider it “bossing” to speak to you about your dogs’ misbehavior in my home. You texted me that you are leaving heartbroken and threatened to have me reimburse your $200 hotel fee. But you still did not pay the $100 Pet Fee! I always work for my guests, making their stay comfortable, helping them in any way I can with their pets. My listing also says that Check-in / Check-out time is flexible. If you decided to leave early, that is fine with me. Overall, I do not recommend this guest to any other hosts, due to her lack of disclosure regarding her pets, not paying required pet fee and lack of concern about her dogs’ behavior during their stay in my home.
