Located by the sea, this is a spacious 43-square-meter studio that opens onto a courtyard with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Very bright and practical, it features a 160x190 bed and a sofa bed. The bathroom has a sink and a walk-in shower. The toilet is located outside the bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with an electric stove, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a freezer. The studio is located right in the heart of town, with all shops within a 100-meter walking radius, including free parking. The studio’s location is ideal for very quiet nights. There are many beaches nearby: Bourcefranc, Marennes, the Côte Sauvage, and of course Oléron, just outside Bourcefranc. All kinds of water sports are available: surfing, bodyboarding, stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, kitesurfing, etc. Two bicycles are available for rides along the trails and bike paths. There are many sites to visit, starting with Fort Louvois in Bourcefranc (photos), accessible on foot at low tide and by a free ferry at high tide. From the Marennes airfield, you can fly over the coastline for a while and take unforgettable photos. Don’t forget the La Palmyre Zoo, the La Rochelle Aquarium, the Chassiron and Cordouan lighthouses, the citadel of Brouage, the citadel of Château-d’Oléron, and the Corderie Royale in Rochefort—the city where the Hermione was built.
