Come and enjoy everything Northern Michigan has to offer, no matter what time of year. Located just a short walk (9 minutes) from Torch Lake, in Rapid City, Michigan, this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is ready for weekly rentals. This home comfortably sleeps 6 (up to 8 with sofa bed). It has all of the amenities; central air, heat, TV, internet, washer and dryer, natural gas stove, microwave, garbage disposal, propane gas grill, a privacy fence in the backyard with a furnished patio and fire pit. We are pet friendly (20 lbs. max). We are a short walk to the famous Torch Lake sandbar public access off Crystal Beach Road and about a mile to the public boat launch at Torch River Bridge. Explore nearby Traverse City (23 miles) with both Mission and Leelanau Peninsula wineries, award winning restaurants, Turtle Creek Casino (11.5 miles) and Shorts Brewery (14 miles) located in Bellaire. Spring and Fall offer some of the best golf in the area. Visit A-Ga-Ming Golf Course (16 miles) or travel 40 miles to the golf mecca of Gaylord which hosts some of the best golf courses around. For winter fun, enjoy skiing at several different ski slopes as well as great cross-country skiing trails at Shanty Creek Resort (14 miles). No matter what time of year you visit, there are abundant activities to enjoy.

Great location, comfortable stay

The location was great, and the house was very clean and comfortable. We easily walked the 10 minutes to the Torch Lake public access point with our kids. Check in was easy and hosts were communicative.

Place was exactly as advertised. Clean, great kitchen and living space, close to the lake, and perfect for our family of 4 adults, 2 small children and one college child. Host even left us a nice gift of smores. Highly recommend.

Nice Spot

Very clean, spacious for the size, and nicely decorated. Our family had a great time here. It’s a little ways from the lake but access points are close and accessible with a little pre-planning.

Fantastic place!

We stayed here for few nights for a weekend bike trip. Place was very well setup. Loved the backyard firepit area. Hosts were very quick communicators. Would come back again for sure.

Perfect Getaway

The place was very clean and cozy. The host/hostess were super great with communication! They went the extra mile and left us a snack basket as well as provided firewood. Would definitely recommend them and this place! Super close to the sand bar as well!

Great getaway!

Enjoyed our stay here in a clean, well-appointed, nicely furnished home. We liked that it was within walking distance to the public access to Torch Lake. We also appreciated the bottled waters, granola bars, s’mores and the bottle of wine! These were all an added bonus to a very comfortable experience! Look forward to a return visit!

Nice place to stay

Tori and Aaron are wonderful hosts. House was ver clean and comfortable. Short walk to public lake access. Beds were very comfortable. Hosts were very attentive. Appreciated the fresh eggs and snacks including s’mores kits. Firewood supplied. Stayed for 2 weeks and really enjoyed our time there.

Clean and great location

We came to the area to boat and was very happy with the location of the house. The house itself was great!! The driveway was wide so easy to park our boat. The backyard was nice, we had a fire pit to enjoy each night. The extras like snacks, drinks, and coffee station was a nice touch!! The beds were very comfortable and 2 bathrooms were perfect for 2 couples. We will definitely be back!

House was what I expected. Very clean. Quiet neighborhood. They provided us with everything we needed for a comfortable weeks stay. The ice maker did not work though. Would stay there again.

Awesome stay near Torch Lake!

From the moment we arrived, i was in love with this place! Very clean and easy to find. Honestly, felt so much more roomy than pictures showed! The backyard firepit are is all fenced in and private. The decor was homey, chic and cozy...just loved it! 3 bedrooms 2 baths...couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay! I hope to come back again! The welcome basket and coffee station were great touches! Thank you for sharing your place! Outstanding!

Cleanest property we have ever visited!

Immaculate! The owners supplied us with waters, coffee, snacks and an adorable home! We have NO complaints about our stay only a few suggestions. A front porch might be a nice addition to provide a cooler outdoor spot when the evening sun is beaming on the back patio area. Although the living room furniture is perfect esthetically, it was not especially comfy, but we didn't spend tons of time in the living room with beautiful Torch Lake so close!

We Loved Their Home! It Was So Cute, Cozy, Comfortable, & Clean! The Decor Was Amazing & Exceptionally Organized & The Surrounding Area Was So Beautiful! I Can't Say Enough About How Much We Enjoyed Our Stay & How Attentive The Hosts Were (Tori & Aarron) With Responding & Relaying Any & All Information About Their Rental! They Even Left Us A Nice Basket Of "Goodies" For Us To Enjoy Which Was An Unexpected Surprise & So Nice After The Holiday Road Trip🤗🥰 Thanks Again For Our Wonderful Stay & We Definitely Can't Wait To Come Back!

Cute Little Cabin Vibe

There were four adults who stayed Thursday-Sunday. We arrived a few hours early and wanted to check in to change and get out on Torch lake. I contacted the host and they let us come early!! Super appreciated that! The house was very clean. They left a little snack box and a folder with menus for restaurants near by. The location was not walking distance to anything, but a short easy drive. Also close to small towns, which we loved! We all said we would go back!

Beautiful place and location

Beautiful place and location. Access Points to lake are nice but small so don’t expect to swim or fish. If you’re planning to do any type of fishing it’s best to have a boat if you have one to drop in a lake. If you want to swim and have a beach or water day, Bellaire is closest as they have “beach access” with grills, tables and open access. My kids each took a friend and we really enjoyed just having camp fires in the backyard and spending time as a family away from the everyday grind. My husband and I took morning walks and loved the nature and saw several wildlife in residents yards which was fun to watch. Owners were very responsive and sweet. Loved the welcome basket and eggs! So kind and what’s great way to enter after a long trip! I would make sure if you rent this VRBO, to have the code they send you to get in the house saved somehow to your phone. We had no phone service there and needed to access emails to retrieve the code so we had to drive back out until we got service to retrieve email. Once you get in the house and hook to their wi fi you are all set. They have a puzzle which my kids did on one of the rainy days we had there. I would suggest if your taking kids to take some games, puzzles, cards, reading books etc. All these are just suggestions and ideas-nothing to do with the owner. We had a wonderful stay and it’s a beautiful place! Especially if your a couple looking for a getaway! No issues at all! We did eat at the local restaurant (couple miles up the road) Bluewater Bistro and Pizzeria and it was delicious! Very clean, good food, and one of the guys (not sure if he was the cook?) was amazing! Very responsive, cleared our table, checked in on us and he wasn’t our waiter. I would say give it a try if you’re looking for a local place to eat. Great place, great stay, awesome owners!

We are a family owned short term rental. Both of us grew up enjoying the lakes of Northern Michigan where we are lucky enough to raise our 3 boys.

Some of Tori’s best memories were made on the North end of Torch Lake, which led us to want to share that same experience with others by providing a safe, quiet and comfortable home.
