Near Shanty Creek Resorts with exceptional golf and skiing, includes access to pool/hot tub at 2 locations. Visit downtown Bellaire and Short's Brewing Company, Bee Well Mead & Cider, & Mammoth Distilling. Great fishing/beaches within 15 minutes at Torch Lake or Lake Bellaire. Within 1 hour of Traverse City and Petoskey.
Immaculate condo with cathedral ceiling and gas fireplace, finished throughout with knotty pine. Includes a spacious deck with comfortable patio furniture overlooking the golf course. Enter condo by climbing 1.5 flights of stairs to covered deck at the entryway and a private locked storage shed to store golf bags, bikes, skis, or fishing gear. Master bedroom has a king size bed and jetted tub in master bathroom. All 3 bathrooms include dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Washer and dryer for your use. Pack and Play crib, step stool, and toys available for those with young children.

Great Stay! Super Close to Schuss Mountain

Our family loved the space and time at knotty pine. It was a great experience for our family of 6! There was great spaces for everyone and we were able to have a relaxed getaway. We plan to be back!

My adult children and I along with some friends stayed for the weekend while volunteering for Michigan Special Olympics held here at Schuss Mountain. It was nice to be able to walk to the competitive events.

Home away from Home!

For many years we have stayed at Schuss Mountain, and we have found our favorite spot! It’s perfect for our family! We golfed, did the Skywalk, kayaked, went to the beach, saw the Balloons over Bellaire, and most importantly…..created another year of memories! Thank you again!

New Years Ski trip

Enjoyed a pleasant say at this property, close to Ivan’s and Schuss mountain, but not close enough for the kids to walk with skis. The property was very well equipped and comfortable, we will be back!

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful visit, it was a beautiful area, very nice Condo. It was clean and comfortable and the Condo met our needs. We enjoyed the golf courses, and the deck overlooking the fairway. The access to the Lakeview Lodge and especially the pool, was wonderful. We would recommend it to others.

Friends Getaway

The condo was perfect for our 3 couples. 3bed/3bath. We enjoyed our stay. We did wish there was a pool/hot tub right in the complex as well as a firepit.

Spacious and comfortable

Location was great, just a 2-min drive to Schuss lodge and you could even walk there across groomed snow in about 10 min. The condo has comfortable and roomy, and the kitchen was fully stocked with supplies. We really enjoyed the fireplace.

Perfect Thanksgiving!

We stayed in this condo 5 nights during Thanksgiving week. The location is beautiful. Started with green grass and ended with 18" of snow - could have used a shovel. The condo is very well furnished and well kept. Had everything we needed. 6 adults in 3 nice bedrooms - each with it's own bathroom. Very nice pool and hot tub available. Used it every night. Almost 4 miles away so not super convenient but clean and big. We've already talked about using the condo again.

The best spot so far in our many

This was just perfect for our yearly family trip. My boys & I head North every summer, finding different spots to stay……this is our 3rd time here at Schuss, and we love it. The house fit our needs to a tee. Only slit mishap were discussed with the owner, and taken care of. We would love to come back, and bummed I didn’t sign the log book! Thank you so much for letting us have yet another FANTASTIC vacation!

Great stay

Long ski weekend. Condo is great. We had a ton of snowfall while there, steps can be a little tough when snow covered. Snow removal people tried to keep up but a lot of snow fell making steps tricky. Owner was great to communicate with. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Another Great Stay

This is the 2nd time we stayed at this condo. Great location to the ski hill and great space for 2 families with young kids. Very accommodating with everything you need for a long weekend of skiing. The kids loved the games. Plenty of space for everyone and great kitchen to cook meals. Will look to stay here again in the future.

Overall happy

The property was perfect for our group of 6. Home was clean…and great communication from hosts. The indoor pool / hot tub were a little disappointing. There were piles of sand in the hot tub and stuff floating in the pool / hot tub. 😬. Otherwise, great place with lots to do within driving distance.

4th of July long weekend

Very nice condo. A lot of places and things were closed on the 4th of July, which was disappointing. I just figured the 4th would be very active up north michigan. Would stay again!

Great Condo for Ski Weekend

This condo was perfect for our 3 night ski weekend. Great location extremely close to the base of the mountain. So close that we came back to the condo to warm up and have lunch during the day of skiing. Fully equipped with all the amenities and everything needed to have a great weekend and cook meals in. Also very close to downtown Bellaire to go out and enjoy the local pubs. Great and easy communication with host and very easy check in and a nice welcome. Great space to hangout at night and relax watching a movie or playing games. With being the winter we did not get to utilize the decks but would be a fantastic place for the summer to enjoy evenings or a meal on the deck over looking the golf course. Will hopefully be back for another ski weekend next year.

Golfing at Schuss-Shanty Creek

Very nice property overlooking the fairway #1 on Schuss Mtn course. Our second stay here, we also came last winter. We recommend it. Only wish list item is a gas grill on the balacony.

Beautiful property

Stayed here for 2 nights while we did the chain of Lakes (Torch, Elk, Bellaire). Would definitely stay again. Very comfortable and relaxing plus close to town and River.

Spacious Gathering Spot in a Beautiful Setting

Everyone felt right at home with plenty of space to gather around kitchen counter bar, dining table, living room and outdoor deck. Large bedrooms for personal retreat and restful sleeping. Every room was well stocked and supplied with everything needed to make it just like home!

My condo is in pristine condition and in a very peaceful location. The knotty pine elements throughout the condo are a perfect compliment to your Up North Getaway. Located 0.5 miles away from the base of Schuss Mountain, my condo is ideal for your winter skiing getaway. Warm up after your outing by the gas fireplace or soaking in the jacuzzi tub in the master bath. During spring, summer, and fall months, guests will enjoy beautiful views of the Schuss Mountain Golf Course and scenic hardwoods from the spacious deck. It is an ideal location for golfers, mountain bikers, fishermen, and outdoor enthusiasts of every kind.
Condo features a well appointed kitchen, charming decor, and private locked storage for your gear. Complimentary pool pass allows use of 2 nearby pools and hot tubs.
A scenic 3 mile paved walking/biking trail is located right outside the front door. The property is also conveniently close to some of the most beautiful hiking in Northern Michigan at Grass River Natural Area (hiking) and Glacial Hills Natural Area (hiking and mountain biking).
