This recently renovated, charmingly quirky home sleeps 8, with four luxuriously outfitted bedrooms and 2 1/2 unique baths. Treat your family and friends to a claw foot soaking tub and fully stocked kitchen, fireside reading, books and games, snowshoes, a private hot tub, freestanding fire pit, and a boot/glove dryer to refresh your gear. Hike or cross country ski from your own front door, 10 min to resort skiing.

Great experience!

We were eight adults skiing at big sky for the week. This property was exactly as listed. Super cozy, had everything we needed, very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub, loved the location, very convenient to everything at Big Sky. Joe was very easy to contact and super nice. I would highly recommend this property.

Perfect cabin

We loved everything about this cabin! Perfect for the six of us, plenty of room, very well outfitted and terrific location. Joe and Kathy saw to every detail! Very nice indeed. Highly recommend.

Heaven in Montana

This beautiful cabin in the trees, minutes from Town Center Big Sky. A lovely home, clean, comfortable and the best beds ever. Our family of 8 were comfy and so happy in this home and the host are responsive and so nice. Dont think twice. Best VRBO I ever rented.

One of our favorite stays

This home was perfect for three couples who chose Joe’s cabin for our Big sky ski trip. We take a trip annually out west and truly think this was one of our favorites. The home and area are beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice. Can’t say anything negative about the home or property. Also contacted Joe about an internet issue and he quickly came by to check it out and give us recommendations about the area. Just a few minutes from grocery shops, the town and the mountain. When we return to big sky we’d love to stay at this beautiful cabin again!

Lovely Large Cabin in the Woods

We had an amazing time over the New Year's holiday at this warm and very comfortable large cabin tucked into a nice quiet wooded residential area. Located a few minutes up from the Big Sky village and a short drive down from the mountain from the lifts too. Beds were very comfortable, the fireplace helped keep the space warm on a very cold week and the spa always provided a comforting welcome after a long day of skiing. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend a stay here.

Perfect Cabin for your trip

The cabin is perfectly located. Host were extremely hospitable. Very clean and comfortable. Has everything you need for your stay. Beds are extremely comfortable. Could not have booked a better place. Will book again!

We couldn’t have been more delighted with our stay! If this space meets your trip/group needs, book it now - do not delay. From the beautifully maintained and updated space, thoughtful kitchen/bath amenities, Joe’s cabin was fantastic! Everything functioned beautifully- from the hot tub to the 8 person boot/helmet dryers. The sleds set out for our kiddos made it easy to enjoy the space outside, as well. Pretty sure that I’m about to run out of review space, so if you’re still reading…your next stop should be to confirm that your dates are still available.

2021 ski trip

The cabin was great. The kids enjoyed the jacuzzi. The house was minutes from the slopes. The beds are the most comfortable I've ever experienced at a rental. We loved the place!!!

Cozy cabin in the woods

We loved this cabin for our family of five! It was an easy drive to the mountain and a wonderful place to come back to at the end of the day. It is secluded in a beautiful pine grove. The cabin amenities are top notch, very clean, and very cozy. The owners replied to our texts right away. In the past we have always stayed on the mountain, and with this house we felt that we were staying in a loved home, rather than a rental unit. Thank you!

Great stay!

We LOVED this place. It was a great location and fun quirky little place to hang out. Me and four young adults and we all were able to have privacy. Joe was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Perfect Place in Stay in Big Sky !!!

The Cabin was the perfect place to stay on our Big Sky ski trip. It's only a 10 minute drive from the lifts and very close to town but you're in the woods and don't see other houses or people. Everything was clean and thoughtfully prepared for our arrival including hand warmers, trail maps, treats for the kids and more. The kitchen is brand new with wonderful modern appliances and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was essential at the end of long ski days and the robes were a nice treat. All of the beds, sofa & furniture are very comfortable and nicely appointed. The welcome guides are very helpful and their recommendations on restaurants, etc were appreciated. Joe was very responsive in his communication and has put a great deal of effort into making the cabin comfortable for guests. We're planning to return next year and hope to stay longer. What a beautiful and unique place - I'd highly recommend staying here if you visit Big Sky!!!

My wife and I moved to Vail Colorado at the age of 21 to ski for a season. Since then, more than 2500 ski days, 33 years and 3 children have brought mountains of joy and memories. Our family moved here from Vail after a weekend visit in September of 2005. The view of Lone Peak as we broke through the tree lined road immediately called us to action. The beauty , grandeur and opportunity had us move our little family to the area in October of that year. Since then, Our children have moved through the school system, played Little League (That I started), played High School Sports all the while skiing this hidden gem of a mountain.

With our children grown, we decided to share the wonderful activities and lifestyle that our cabin allows visitors to enjoy. The beautiful community of Big Sky is a true small town with the amenities of a world class ski resort town. Big Sky Resort lifts are only 9 minutes away and they allow snow enthusiast to access the most challenging lift access skiing on the planet. The lower mountain provides long perfectly groomed trails that will excite the senses. The views from Lone Peak allow you to see the Grand Tetons on a clear day. As a bonus, the Cross Country ski trails of Lone Mountain Ranch literally cross our driveway. This bonus gives you access to over 50 miles of perfectly groomed trails through the meadows and mountains of Big Sky.

The location of the Cozy Cabin is only 2 minutes from Groceries, Restaurants, Libations and Gym yet tucked away in a forest surrounded by acres of undeveloped beauty. The downhill ski lifts at Big Sky Resort are a short 9 minute drive to the Largest Skiing in North America. Access to 50 miles of perfectly groomed cross country trails and unlimited snow shoe trails are but steps away.
