This beautiful cabin is the perfect place to get away. With two wide open proches, surrounded by peaceful wilderness, this cabin is the place to relax away from your daily life or between adventures. Named for the stunning light show our fireflies put on every year, Firefly Cabin is perfect for the whole family. It is just minutes away from Lake Nottely, several hiking trails, and everything else that makes the Southern Appalachia the best vacation get away. Union County, GA STR license #022770 exterior security cameras are located at the front and back doors.

I am inclined to say the cabin was a little distanced from the various activities and locations we visited, but that is true of anywhere in the mountains. In all honesty, this cabin was the ideal location, and we intend to return here as often as we can book the place. The cleanliness, the host, the whole cabin sets the standard for what every cabin rental should be.

Super cozy cabin

Love, love, loved this cabin. Exceptionally clean and very cozy. Plenty of room inside and outside as well. Beautiful location, quiet and peaceful, allowed us some much needed relaxation from the hustle and bustle of Fla. Would absolutely stay here again!!

AMAZING CABIN!! Highly recommend!

Stop scrolling and pick this cabin! It’s so cozy and in a beautiful location, so close to many hiking trails, waterfalls, and adorable little towns. The cabin has an amazing guide book packed with info on the area. The beds are comfy, the fireplace was divine, and the kitchen is fully loaded. Can’t wait to come back. Truly is a gem!

Loved being in the woods and seeing deer everywhere. Very nice to have washer & dryer -- first time I've ever come home from a trip with laundry already done! Wished we had all been younger and more agile though. The stairs were all intimidating. Missed out on enjoying the firepit because the walkway looked unsafe for us. The cabin itself was great though, we were comfortable, had plenty of room, and enjoyed being together.

AMAZING Cabin with everything you need!

This was such a great cabin and we’ve never had so much thoughtfulness put into a rental before. The owner had everything you could need like firewood for the fireplace which was so cozy by the way! The spot was quiet and nice in the woods. Just a great place, very clean, and perfect for a getaway weekend.

Firefly Cabin is a little piece of heaven! It’s conveniently located near the lake with plenty of access to all the mountain fun. This home is spacious, well-stocked, and immaculate. We will definitely be back!

Late October getaway

We had a very nice time at the cabin. Similar to other guests, the bed was very comfortable, we slept well. The cabin was probably the cleanest place we've stayed at. We had some glitches with the Internet, but my wife pointed out that I'm possibly illiterate because I couldn't tell the difference between b and 6.

Fall stay

Enjoyed the house and the location it was nice for taking walks. I think the listing should state that the bedrooms are on two separate levels. Also having only a key to the downstairs door instead of the upstairs door and only one key caused us to have to climb the stairs needlessly every time we wanted to go in and out of the house as we didn’t use the downstairs level for anything else.

We enjoyed walking through the neighborhoods around the lake that were nearby and enjoying our trips into town which was about 20 minutes away! Lovely comfortable beds and fabulous fireplace and fire pit! Great communication with local concierge for the property.

This place is as absolutely amazing so peaceful and clean and the beds Wow the best I have ever ever slept on I am picky about my mattress and I slept better than I had in a very long time. The fire place was so awesome we made s’mores one 2 nights and enjoyed all the lights they had in the walk way. We have never been to this area before but my family and I will definitely return we truly did not want to leave it was so peaceful!!

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was clean and welcoming. We especially liked the covered parking, as we arrived in the rain! The beds were comfortable, the location was great for hiking, seeing waterfalls and visiting Helen. Highly recommend!!

Cozy get away in the woods

Rental was super easy and we were pleasantly surprised. There is lots to do nearby but if you want to hang out and relax without going anywhere this is the place. This is not a bare bones rental, there were so many added extras. We enjoyed being able to grill and eat outside and the fire pit was a wonderful, relaxing addition. We also enjoyed just sitting on the porch enjoying nature and playing corn hole (which apparently I am not very good at). This was a wonderful, relaxing getaway. Thank you so much for a wonderful, relaxing getaway in the woods.
