Perfect host, perfect views, perfect AC / electricity / internet, perfectly clean, functional, and well equipped house... you will not be disappointed. We will be back!Great location less than 10-min from town and a fantastic jumping off point to drive to all the best beaches and restaurants on the island. Rent a jeep and enjoy all that St. John has to offer. Highly recommend!

Our family had a great time spending Thanksgiving at Southern Cross in St John. Drew was great, the house and the view were absolutely awesome and the breeze by the pool, with sun almost all day, was perfect!

Fabulous stay!

We had a fantastic stay at the villa. The place was incredibly clean and the beds were super comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. This villa has everything you need! The location was perfect with an amazing view of the caribbean. Drew was an awesome host, very responsive and welcoming. We especially appreciated Drew’s efforts following checkout as we left a backpack behind. Drew worked with his team of professionals and had our backpack returned to us on St. Thomas without having to return back to St. John. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a terrific place to stay and experience!

The views were amazing, the home is beautiful and updated. The pool was so nice and concierge always checked in. Also this was close to town!. I would stay there again and plan to tell my friends about it.

Great Place - Beautiful Viewa

We had a great week at Southern Cross Villa! The host, Drew, was the best host we have ever had. So responsive. Property is well kept the only complaint would be that the dining room has no fans and without AC got toasty playing games. Living area fans more helpful. But the views are worth it along with the host!

Good home but for the price it needed a little maintenance

The home is lovely and it fit our needs but for the price we paid it should have been maintained better. Screens were off the tracks, the ice maker didn't work and the lights didn't work well. These were easy fixes and should have been done before we arrived. Communication about the electricity issues would have been a good idea. We've traveled a lot and understand the load issues but managing expecations would have been a good idea. St John was wonderful but we'd probably stay somewhere with beach access and a sunset view next time.

Great Location with Plenty of Room

We were at Southern Cross for 13 days. The first 6 days with family which included 2 teenage girls, 13&15, the last 7 days with 5 adult friends. The listing doesn't tell you the second floor of the house isn't reachable from the first unless you go outside and down some stairs. Then the two smaller bedrooms downstairs do not connect but are separate units. This wasn't important for us but it might be for those with younger kids. You can't beat the views! Absolutely stunning! The kitchen has everything you need if, like our family, you don't go out to eat every meal. There was plenty of outdoor sitting space and everyone enjoyed being outside whether it was just sitting around visiting or utilizing the pool. We personally thought they might have included extra pillows in the bedrooms and a couple of throws. Some of us were hot natured and some cooler. Given the living area outside of the bedrooms is not air conditioned we needed to keep doors open for much needed air circulation which wasn't conducive to all.The only other issue we thought someone might like to be made aware of is the driveway's width makes it difficult to turn a jeep around which is necessary in order to leave the property. It was quite an ordeal every time we left! ( and we had two jeeps.) There were a couple of times we had to call Drew ( the host) for questions or some small issue and he was always accessible and responded immediately. We would definitely return to The Southern Cross!

Excellent property and host

We have stayed on St John several times and this was by far the best. The host Drew is amazing and so helpful with everything. The house is very nice and great for 4 couples

Bailey didn’t a great job shopping and putting away the groceries and beer.

4 couples that go away every year somewhere in the Caribbean. This house was perfect for our daily visits to the beach and restaurants.

Perfect rental for a couples trip!

We spent a week here with 3 other couples and absolutely loved it. Beautiful views, great bedroom for each couple, big common area and tons of outdoor space. Easy to communicate with the host and easy drive to Cruz Bay/north shore beaches. Road up to the house has an unpaved section so you definitely want a car with 4 wheel drive. Would love to come back and stay here again!

Beautiful home but had issues

The home is beautiful and the location is beautiful but we had issues with several applicances and the property manager wasn't has helpful as we thought he should be. The dishwasher leaked all over the kitchen. The property manager said it was fixed and it leaked again... we had to mop it up both times. The washing machine leaked and we had to mop up that too. And there were other issues. We were

This property has everything and more than we could have expected. The pictures posted are beautiful but we were amazed how breathtaking the place and view brought everything to the next level. The attention to detail from beginning to end by the host exhibits total customer service and experience!

View and outdoor space is excellent

Beautiful home. Private. View is exceptional. Great for multiple families because there are 2 bedrooms upstairs, on either side of the living room/dining room/kitchen. Then you go outside and down the stairs to the pool level, where there are 2 more (unconnected to each other or upstairs) bedrooms.

Lovely

Great location with spectacular view. We mostly dined in and the kitchen was well equipped. There were beach towels and chairs available for beach trips. The only surprise so other guests know is there is no on site trash disposal so at check out you need to load it all in a car and drive it to a dumpster. Also to be aware the four bedrooms are all on opposite ends of the house on two levels so for families with little kids it’s not optimal. On the flip side the kids used the pool all of the time. There is a child gate available to secure entry. I would definitely recommend Southern Cross and would happily return.

Gorgeous Views, Next level cleanliness and ease of living

The views were amazing. We brought our own household products and were impressed with how much was provided for us (we could have brought less). The layout of the house and bedrooms easily accommodated four couples. High end appliances, beautiful pool, easy access to Town Center. The kitchen was beautifully outfitted and made it feel like we were cooking in our own homes rather than on a vacation property! Bravo. The only comment I would make for future renters, and the hosts will echo this, is that a car is necessary. Despite their closeness, the house is not an easy or safe walking distance from the town center or beaches, but a vehicle gets you there in 5 minutes.

What a view!

We loved every moment at this house. The breakfasts in the morning were lovely out on the deck overlooking chocolate hole. We were able to find several cab drivers that would happily take us to dinner and home, just a short drive away. The welcome staff and concierge were both extremely helpful. I can’t say enough wonderful things!

Perfect & Peaceful

Great time, location and space to vacation with my husband and 3 other couples. Quick drive to Cruz Bay & beaches. The 4 bedrooms w/full baths provided the private space we each needed while the large kitchen, living/dining and outdoor spaces gave us room to talk, dance and do karaoke! The view is spectacular from all of the outdoor areas. We grilled and ate outdoors most evenings.
