Perfect Family Cabin

Absolutely loved this property and surrounding area! From mountain bike riding to paddle boarding down at serene lakes…it was a blast. Highly recommend this host!

Great place to stay in Serene Lakes

This property was perfect for our 3 generation group of 6. It was more like staying in someone’s home than a rental. Communication with the owners was perfect. Highly recommend Snowed Inn and hope we can come back soon.

Beautiful Home and location

This home had everything you could ask for. I've rented numerous houses, but this one had the best kitchen, hands down; stocked with every utensil, pot/pan, beautiful dishes and glassware, etc. The lake is gorgeous, beach a great place to relax, hiking from the house with amazing terrain and Truckee only 15 minutes away.

Magical stay at the snowed inn

We stayed at the property after it snowed for a few days. The surroundings were a winterland playground for the kids. The property has itself was beautiful and just as described. It was very convenient for our family and the kitchen is so nicely organized. It was ideal for cooking. Honestly, we didn't want to leave.

Great Sugar Bowl Ski Vacation

I have been going to Serene Lakes outside of Sugar Bowl for years, and it is our go to spot when we ski. We like Serene for a a whole host of reasons. This is one of the nicest houses we've stayed at in Serene. Many of the houses there are older, and have an older cabin feel. This house was very modern with a nice new kitchen. The host was amazing and incredibly communicative. They also stocked the house really well, as often it's the little things that are missing that are so frustrating when renting. They had everything. They also have a hot tub, which is a nice add for a ski trip. Overall the house was fantastic.

Fantastic House!

The house was really nice and very well stocked with everything one could need. The beds were comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet and it was easily one of the best places we have stayed as a family. You can tell that the owners take pride in the house. The property manager was responsive and helpful. 5 stars.

Wonderful Cabin in Soda Springs!

We really enjoyed our stay at this Serene Lakes cabin. The house was very clean and well appointed. Communication was impeccable throughout the process. 5 stars - highly recommend!

Snowed Inn at Serene Lakes

Beautiful chalet in a great location close to hiking and mountain biking trails and Serene Lakes. Owners (Jason and Marla) left us a well stocked and clean property and were very helpful in addressing any questions. We highly recommend this property for a peaceful yet adventurous vacation.

Perfect House for a getaway!

Both the kids and adults enjoyed this property! It’s clean and cozy and a short distance to Serene Lakes! Jason was easy to communicate with and the information book at the cabin provides everything you need to know about the area! We look forward to visiting again and would highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area!

Summer Trip

We booked this rental for a quick getaway for my husband's birthday and ended up falling in love with not only the cabin but the location. When we arrived and everything was a seamless process. It was clean and ready to enjoy. They had everything stocked that you would need in the bathrooms and kitchen. Our kids loved the jacuzzi. We were only 5 minutes away from the lake and a special beach spot for the family. We can't wait to come back! Jason was very helpful every step of the way. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone!

Winter wonderland

Tons of snow, great location that's near the ski resort, and sledding three blocks away. Clean, cozy cabin stocked with everything you need, including a hot tub with a nice view of the back yard and trees. Hosts are very attentive, well organized and easy to deal with. We had a wonderful time and recommend this property and plan to return again.

Wonderful snowy escape

We had a great three days of playing in the snow and getting cozy by the wood burning fireplace. The house was very comfortable for our family. Well-furnished and kitchen had helpful supplies. Covered garage was key for getting to the slopes without having to clean off the car! The hosts were helpful and very responsive when we had a question. Thanks for a nice visit!

Great home base in Serene Lakes/near Sugar Bowl

Our family of 5 totally enjoyed our 3 nights in this cabin. We were skiing sugar bowl and it was incredibly convenient. The house was very clean and had all the amenities you want in a rental: shampoo/conditioner/soap in the bathrooms, spices, oil, plenty of baking dishes and other kitchen stuff. A+!

Relaxing, cozy, and great location

House was very comfortable- Beds were great, everything was very clean. Kids loved the room downstairs. About as close as you can get (~5 min walk) to some of the best groomed XC skiing in the country. Jason was very responsive and helpful.

Thanks David for the great review. We agree that the location of our cabin is incredible - literally steps from the largest cross country ski resort in North America. My family also loves the downstairs playroom which is a great haven for kids who need some space from their parents (or vice versa!). Hope to see you again soon.
