Chalet: Stunning Views, Comfort & Nature, Sauna, Hiking, Skiing

Perched opposite the La Bresse ski area, you will fall under the spell of the Log Lady chalet with its cosy atmosphere and neat decoration. Facing south, the chalet offers a panoramic view of the mountain. In a quiet and family area on the edge of the forest, the Log Lady has all the comforts (sauna, fireplace, bbq, wifi) and you can enjoy various outdoor spaces in the sun or shade. Hiking trails and ski resort within walking distance, everything is there for a successful stay!

Warm, carefully decorated and with all modern comforts, the 100 m2 chalet and its garden are entirely at your disposal. Perfect for 10 people, it can accommodate up to 12.

The chalet consists of 2 levels with:
- Upstairs: a small entrance, the living room, the dining room, the kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom/WC
- On the first floor: a sauna area, three bedrooms, a bathroom/toilet and a space for the washing machine and dryer

In the comfortable and cozy living/dining room, you can, for example, face the view, listen to music, watch a movie, spend a good evening with friends or family and enjoy the gentle warmth of the fireplace. From the dining room you will have access to the terrace where you can eat outdoors from grills to the bbq and contemplate the view from the garden furniture. The sofa in the living room can be converted into a 140 cm bed.

The kitchen, super equipped, will allow you to cook anything you want.

Each bedroom is spacious and has a 160 cm double bed and one of them also has 2 bunk beds. You will have different storage spaces for your belongings (cupboard, wardrobe, chests of drawers, clothes racks with hangers, trunk, bedside tables). One of the bedrooms has an office area to be able to work.

The two bathrooms have been completely redone, one with a walk-in shower, the other with a bathtub.

Finally, a sauna area will allow you to relax after a good day of skiing or hiking.

In the garden, you can rest in the garden furniture in the shade of the trees: sunbeds are at your disposal.

Note that access to the chalet is via stairs from the road and is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Passenger access:

To come to the Log Lady, you will need a car (which you can park at the foot of the chalet). However, be careful with access in winter with the snow which can be complicated if you do not have snow tyres or chains. The snowplough passes very regularly and there are more accessible parking spaces in the area before arriving at the chalet.

I can leave the keys in a lock box if you arrive late, so no timing problem.

Other notes:

The chalet is ideally located for all mountain activities:
the chairlift to the Bresse Hohneck alpine ski area is 400m from the chalet, several hiking trails start from the area around the chalet, a cross-country ski trail is also accessible on foot from the chalet.
Finally, if you want to swim, the lake of Longemer is 10 minutes away by car!

For excursions in Alsace, Colmar is less than 1 hour away, the same for Kaysersberg, its Christmas market and its vineyards.

The nearest TGV station is Remiremont.

In addition, the chalet is in the middle of nature, which is why you will not be surprised to see deer in the garden. Despite our best efforts to keep them away, there may also be rodents in the house in autumn and ants around and in the house in summer.
