Hidden treasure close to the Beach

Very clean and updated decor! Had everything one would need for a vacation! Host was very nice and accommodating. Would most definitely go back and recommend to others!

Great stay at Ocean Lakes. Host was awesome. Communication great. My husband says the shower in the master bathroom is worth every penny we paid for the house. Location was great. House had everything we needed. No complaints. Would definitely rent again.

Nice community

Cute house in a campground. Not super far from the beach. A little noisy at night but that is to be expected. The house was clean and the property manager was prompt in communication.

Our trip was amazing!! Ocean Lakes was great as always! And the owners of our rental property were AWESOME!! Great communication and definitely easy to work with/talk to!! Property was clean and nice. Will definitely try to rent same property again!!

Nice property

We had a fun time. The property was comfortable. The kitchen was supplied with all our needs. We especially enjoyed the deck overlooking the lake. There was a problem with ants but overall it was nice.

Thank you so much for staying with us. We enjoyed hosting you, your daughter and granddaughters. You daughter told me about the ants in the bunk bed room when you were leaving. That was very odd. We never had that issue before. While cleaning the home I cleaned under the beds and found several half eaten snack foods which apparently brought the ants in.

Thank you for the feed back. We take great pride in providing our guest with a clean home to stay. I wish you let me know about the ants I would have been there in less than 10 minutes to take care of it. Yes, the listing does state no dishwasher or washer & dryer, sorry you missed that information when reviewing the profile when booking.

Very comfortable stay

The property has an appealing decor, was clean and was comfortably furnished and supplied with kitchenware (well, except I never could find a corkscrew). The location on the canal was extremely nice as the 8-year old could fish, and the 11-week old was comfortable as we brought a small battery powered fan. I loved reading on the back deck - fan and shade. Only negatives noted was the older golf cart which took forever to charge, so we rented a golf cart on the first full day, and there was a small ant problem in private bath sink, although there was ant spray on premises, and I took care of that problem. Overall, a very good experience, one of the most comfortable homes I have stayed in, and we loved the canal at the rear. I also thought it had laundry room, but that was surely my mistake with no negative impact on our stay or a review. I would visit again.

Great little spot on the canal

Small, quaint cottage on the canal with a wonderful back deck perfect after being at the beach all day. Absolutely delightful owners with outstanding communication skills. If I needed to post anything that could be improved I’d say update/new skillets, grilling utensils, couch’s are nice but not very comfortable, golf cart may need its own power source or a indicator of charge left. Although the cart was plugged in all the time, the charger kept cutting off so we weren’t sure how much charge the cart had. (I’ve rented before, at a different home, where the cart “died” and we had to push the thing back to the home and weren’t able to use it) again, highly recommend this home and would absolutely rent again.

Worst ocean lakes experience

I never rent a place where I feel that I was like in jail, the owner has video cameras at the front and back yard, they were checking every move that we did, we found several cockroaches (7) everywhere. One of the bathroom was so tiny that was hard to turn around inside, the photos of the house online are not accurate with the reality, the house is way too small. Two days before the rental was over the power (just for this property) went off and we were forced to cut our vacations short

We have never had guest put bags over the outdoor security camera's in attempts to cover up breaking the rules of the house and the ocean lakes development policies. Clearly I should have followed the recommendation of VRBO and had you and your family removed from the cottage within the first 24 hours, but I took your call pleading for me to allow you and your family to stay. I should have not allowed myself to believe you and followed the VRBO recommendation to have you and your family removed from the cottage. Your negative comments are false and uncalled for. I never had guest more disrespectful of our home, house rules, and development policies.

Great time!!!

My family and I had a great time at ocean lakes! This house we rented for the week was very nice! The owners of the house are wonderful, they checked on us to make sure we was having a good time and to see if we needed anything! When we come back to ocean lakes we will stay at the same place again! Thanks for everything:)

Ocean Lakes has it all. Family fun events and activities. Beautiful beach, unlimited access to water park, pools, arcade, recreation center, mini golf, & more. Something for everyone.
Ocean Lakes is a highly secured gated community to keep our guest safe and property safe. Ocean Lakes security officers will fine any guest that violates rules. Guest will be responsible to pay any fines, excessive violations of rules will result in reservation terminated immediately with no refund.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The space, beautifully decorated cottage with all the amenities of a complete kitchen including full size stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave pot and pans, utensils, coffee pot, and keurig.
Master bedroom with queen bed, large bathroom and flat screen tv with cable.
Additional bedrooms ~one with queen bed and one with twin over full bunk beds.

Family room provides cable TV and highspeed wireless internet included.

Back deck includes a gas grill, guest fill gas tank as needed.
Serene back deck with beautiful views of magnolia lake.

Guest access
Gated community. Guest parking pass is $12 per day when express check in is completed, paid directly to Ocean Lakes.

Self check in and check out at cottage with lock box to obtain key.

*Bed Linens(sheets) and Bath Towels are provided for our guest

*CHECK OUT-Guest are required to:
-Clean out the refrigerator/wipe clean any spills
-Clean spills and splatter in microwave in oven
-take out all garbage(including cigarette butts from butt containers)- place in green garbage can marked #1760 *please do not throw butts on grounds of home or in the community
-By 9am place bed linens(sheets) and towels in laundry bags/bins on the front deck
*please note quilts/comforters and or mattress pads in laundry bags/bins will be assumed as soiled and additional cleaning fees will be applied.
-general clean up of any messes or dirt
-clean and put away all dishes cookware, and utensils

CHECK OUT is 10:00am - Late check out fee is $25 and additional $25 fee for every 30 minutes after

*Additional Cleaning Fees will be applied when/for
excess mess left behind: $25 per hour for extra cleaning services
stained/soiled mattress pad: $15 each
stained/soiled comforter: $20 each
stained/soiled pillows: $10 each
stains on furniture: $25 per area
