Worst rental experience ever
Uncomfortable beds, and very low expectation of privacy
House is OK, but very dated . Master bedroom is supposed to be a king size bed. It’s actually two twins pushed together with a huge crack in the middle.
There are video cameras on the front porch and the back porch, which gives you the feeling of being watched all the time . My friend covered up one of the cameras so that his wife could sunbathe and not feel uncomfortable about being watched or video taped. we got a message to remove the hat off the camera or we would have to leave…. even showing us pictures of us in the backyard, which made us even more uncomfortable, but we complied and removed the hat and avoided going outside in the backyard.
We also were granted a late check out on Saturday at 3:00 pm but on Thursday they asked us to leave at 11 o’clock on Saturday making us change all our plans ….
And here is the best/worst part…. We go skiing on Friday and came back to the house to shower and I get a message from VRBO that our stay has been canceled and the police will be called if we don’t leave !!!!
We Tried to reach host and she refused to answer calls or communicate.
So we had to pack up fast and find new accommodations.
When I stay at rental houses, I expect some level of privacy, and this isn’t it!!
I also expect some sort of communication and respect when dealing with issues, not this mean spiteful behavior from a host.
Definitely will not be staying here again !!!!
Ps… we also feel she had cameras
