Owasco Lake House with Central Air!

Renovated lakefront house with central air conditioning. Bright and open on Owasco Lake's North End, the home is situated on the water with outdoor furniture, gas grill, stone fire pit and long dock. The first floor features a half bath, open, well-equipped kitchen, pantry, and laundry area and dining room which opens to a spacious living room. For cool nights, there is a gas fireplace. Upstairs are 4 bedrooms and a full bathroom with tub and shower. There is an enclosed porch on the lake side of the house leading to the stone fire pit, Adirondack chairs and a large picnic table with benches. The view is beautiful! Summer rentals includes 2 kayaks and a canoe along with life jackets and fishing poles. Take the boats to Emerson Park or visit downtown Auburn just 10 minutes away. Great restaurants, museums, wineries/cideries/breweries and hiking are all close by. Start, or continue, your family's summer tradition of a great Finger Lakes vacation!

A fun, clean place to stay. We took advantage of all amenities; fire pit, picnic table, kayaks, canoe, and outdoor grill. Scenery was awesome, especially from the rocking chairs in the patio. Highly recommended.

Perfect location

Cottage on Owasco

Our second stay, and just a great property overall. Well thought out and well maintained. Property manager is helpful and keeps in touch. This is a nice community to visit, with a lot of options for food and things to do. We hope to come back a third time!

Perfect location if attending an event at Emerson Park Pavilion or visiting downtown Auburn. Property was well equipped with kitchen & pantry items. Absolutely Perfect!

We went to Syracuse for my daughter's graduation from college and stayed on the lake in Auburn. It was a 45 min drive back into Syracuse but there were so many cute and yummy restaurants near the house and places to check out. Loved sitting by the lake in the many chairs provided. My oldest two kids took the canoe out on the lake and one of the kayaks and had a great time. The house fit our family perfectly! Zero complaints!

Great Lake Getaway!

We had a fantastic stay here as two families of two adults and two children (8-14yo). The house was well equipped with dishes, utensils, oils and spices. There was great water pressure and lots of hot water. We enjoyed a backyard campfire every night and made great use of all the water toys - kayaks, inflatables, and a canoe. Neighbours, owner and property manager were all super nice. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice property!

We had a nice vacation stay at 5686 McClelland. House/Camp was well stocked with all kitchen needs and paper products. The two kayaks and canoe were a plus and the fire pit got some use for smores the last two nights after the rain went away. Our only concern were the steep stairs to the second story, especially for those with a disability or advancing age.

A Great Stay

This house was exactly what we were looking for and exactly as advertised. The lakefront location and dock space were perfect. The house was small but very well equipped. Also, house was clean and included bed linens and towels. It was nice to arrive to a home with made beds. Neighborhood was great and the neighbors were helpful. Would highly recommend. Wonderful!

The house was wonderful - great location on the lake, very comfortable, and very well stocked with everything you could need. My wife, who is a good cook, was amazed at all the spices they had. It is close to many good wineries and breweries, and close to Auburn where we enjoyed a great dinner and flights of excellent beers at Prison City Brewery. We used the canoe more than once, enjoyed the fire pit, and fished from the dock. The five of us all truly enjoyed our 3-night stay here. Would highly recommend it!

Perfect Owasco Lake Cottage

The cottage was super clean and stocked with every amenity and extra you could think of. Absolutely gorgeous spot on the lake and extremely cozy and updated. Close to beautiful Emerson Park and Auburn. The property manager checked in to make sure everything was okay and if we needed anything. We. OU isnā€™t have asked for a better Finger Lakes experience!

Wedding weekend

Our daughter got married and we were looking for a place to stay that was on the lake so we could have our boat with us and also be able to have family and friends join us the day after the wedding. This place was perfect! Only 0.4 mile away from The Springside Inn, where the wedding was held. The house was well equipped for a great lake experience. The owners were very quick to answer our questions. The neighbor was very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again!

Great Family Vacation Spot!

This was our first year up to the Finger Lakes for family vacation, and we really enjoyed this home! There were 7 of us which comfortably fit and enough space for everyone. The location was perfect. Close to the Speedway to pick up little things, and the downtown of Auburn was only about 15 mins away. We were able to fish, kayak and swim right off the dock. Backyard was great with a firepit and plenty of space to eat and hang outdoors. There was enough parking for a few cars which was great. Overall we felt the house had everything we needed, and we are looking forward to returning!

Was Absolutely Wonderful

The entire experience was a 12 out of 10. The VRBO manager checked in with us before we even got there, gave us suggestions and recommendations. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The fire pit is right out in front of the lake and the house came with canoes and kayaks (we couldnā€™t use as the lake had blue algae when we were there unfortunately but would have loved too) I canā€™t say enough about the neighbors, so friendly on both sides, one even gave us a boat ride. Would highly recommend this rental!
